reflash your stock rom.
or if your phone rooted, try to push vending.apk to folder system/app and login with another gmail account.

ok, I have my phone rooted, i put the vending apk on system/app. Now I am going to log in with another gmail account. Should I install google play? what follows? or should I execute "vending" form the folder you told me?
thanks..
well, I installed it from system/app and it remains crashing
vending.apk is googleplay it self.
hmmmm, lets try erase applications data in settings > application > googleplay.
if it still can't work, i only recommend you to reflash your stock rom.

I'm running cm7 on my vibrant.
I installed the update 31 and used cwm
I checked to install Google apps. But everything but the market installed..
Tried another 2 times, still didn't install.
Can someone send me everything I need for the market? (Besides just the .Apk)
Anyone kind enough to do this for me?

First use a file manager and check /system/app for vending or other market app files and delete them.
Go to settings, applications, manage, all.....look for market and vending, delete them if they are there.
Reboot, then redownload the google apps.
Go into recovery, wipe data/factory reset.
Flash google apps package again. Fix permissions, reboot again.
Latest google apps......
http://db.tt/7V7gcAa
if that doesnt work reflash cm7 or go back to stock with odn and then reflash cm7
K thanks guys

I have a big problem now.
my android market gets stuck at "downloading" and i cant download any apps.
i google about this and it seems that a factory reset is required.
i was reluctant to do a full reset,
so i download the latest market from this forum, version 3.3.11 something.
after install, problem still persist, cant download apps.
so i use rom toolbox, deleted the market system app,
and reinstall the new app market.
now worst, market always force close.
fine, so i do a factory reset. wipe everything.
but after reboot, market app is not there.
what can i do to get back the market app?
Go download n try again ...or use root explore system/app n place the market app there ....hope it helps

Here is a thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329014
thanks, strangely the market app is now a system app just by putting the apk in that folder.
when pressing edit, theres no minus sign at the top right, meaning i cant delete it, it became a system app..
I tried a new ROM and it was bad so I went back to Wolf's Xperia ROM and it installed perfectly.
However Facebook happened to be installed already, but my app list in Android Market/Play Store didn't show anything. So when I try to update it, it says:"Your order is processing, your item will be available in a few minutes" but it never becomes available.
Then I went into a file explorer and manually deleted the Facebook app from System/App and anything related to it. I tried installing from the store again but the same message popped up.
So any help?
Did u maybe try installing apk? (rather than through play)

Hi there, I have a rooted Samsung s6102 and I unistalled the google play store using linktosd thinking I can reinstall it on memory Card,
but then I downloaded it and tried to install it. it installed but on opening it errors "force Close"
I have tried many versions of it and it still doesnt work comes up with error "Force Clsose"
I think it has to be installed in system. I don't know how to do this.
In the meantime I have reset factory settings but still no sign of google play. I'm afraid link2sd must have deleted the relevant files. I also wiped cash memory but.........
I would really appreciate some help on this matter. It is depressing me you know imposed on my mind....
! Please help! Thank you
If you deleted the Vending.apk from /system/app/ then you need that file and you need to put it there. Same procedure if you deleted it from /data/app Then reboot and it should fix your problem.

Root your phone and install the Google gallery again.
Or look for the stock gallery on this forum.
If you don't want to root your phone backup what you can,and do a factory reset.

GoogleGallery.apkm is a system app..system apps are not meant to be installed..they are not signed so cannot be installed in the normal way..to use a system app you will need root...after you are rooted move the apk to /system/app forder and give rw-r--r-- permission and reboot..
