My Little Bro Played With My Lock And the Lock locked And I Dont Remm. The Question's Answer... What I HaVe To Do....
My {Phone Is Xperia Live.... Ver.3.2 ... Locked Bootloader.....
You might have the option to unlock via ur google account and btw is ur phone rooted? Or flash stock ftf
or repair via sus or pcc...
Press THANKS if I helped,
Best Regards,
AJ
Dont miss the ICON FARM!
I had this once. It asked me to sign in via Google account to validate that it was me. Trouble was I didn't have data on and it didn't give an option to turn it on. All I could do after some frustration was to do an android restore.(didn't check for other methods since I wanted it urgently. ) never had lock protection afterwards. (always have data and wifi off)
@op try submitting a blank answer, maybe after three times, it will ask for Google validate. Maybe just may be

Hi
Shutdown the device then repair your device through the se update service it will definitely work .
follow the instructions on se update service software to repair your device.

Hi all,
I installed MiniCm7 on my X10 mini pro using these instructions :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026
And for unlock the bootloader these instructions :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
No problems during this steps, when I reboot my phones MiniCM worked perfectly but there was no service and I couldn't connect the phone on the network.
So, I tried to reinstall the stock version of Android with SEUS but the problem is still here....
If somenon knows the origin of this problem, this could really help me!
yes, relock the bootloader

Sorry, the same problem here, but I don't understand why can relocking solve the network issue?

The reason for manufacturers to ship their phones with locked bootloaders in the first place is to guarantee that carriers don't get burdened with users messing up their phones, and allowing the carriers to run their own proprietary software (which they say gives them added value over the competition).
So, in order to allow users to mess with their phones, some very clever people hacked the security-mechanism of the bootloader.
Unfortunately, that hack for the Xperia X-devices is not perfect, and can disable the radio-capability of your phone (resulting in loss of network-access/unrecognised sim-cards) if the simlock-certificate on your phone is non-standard.
If that happens, the only way to hopefully get it back is to relock your bootloader so it looks original again.
(I'm not sure if you read the thread on unlocking the bootloader, but there is good reason for the big warnings in red letters about checking your sim-lock certificate with S1Tool before unlocking, and the risks involved in that)
In short: The cause of network-loss the OP reported, wasn't caused by the software, because even back on stock firmware it still occurred. So the cause must be the other thing he messed with
And repairint your phone with sony-ericsson's software does not relock the bootloader.

Yes, I did and it is solved. I reflashed the stock by SEUS and I did unlocking procedure again using msm7227_semc.cmd. Now everything is ok. Thanks.

I know a way to get rid of this pattern unlock but it requires root. If Your friend has root he should take a look at program in my desc.
Else only factory reset

Hello all,
Got an xperia x10 of a friend, now im trying to do a hard reset on it by doing this -
Turning it off
Hold the bottom left and right key and then press the on button to try and get it to go into the bios thingy? (not sure what they call in on phones)
and it wont work it just turns on??
Getting annoying as im also thinking about rooting the phone and putting jelly bean or ICS on it but I cant as I cant get into the bios thing
Help would be great please
Sorry its an xperia x10i if that makes any difference
for the "BIOS" thing. Do you mean recovery?
if you don't have it then just get it via flashtool
There is no hard reset n x10 only soft reset,or do it by this way:
1 From the Xperia 10 Home screen, tap the applications bar.
2 Tap Settings > SD card & phone storage > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
3 Enter your screen unlock pattern.
4 Tap Erase everything.
or just use pc companion to wipe everything
Hello, Cheers for the replys, yes that's the recovery I meant, but hmm im new to all of this.
and cheers will give that wiping a go..
So my phone is currently on 2.3.3
all standard,
Can one of you or someone help me with the following,
First I need to unblock it as it is currently locked to virgin or tmobile I think and I would like to use either o2 or orange,
I would then like to Root it and then install ICS or JB on it
I have never done this before so as much help would be really appreciated
Thank
You need to find a shop or someone who uses setool 2 to unlock the phone as it will unlock the bootloader at the same time, if you use any other software to unlock the phone you wont have any network if you unlock the bootloader afterwards the only ways to have a signal is by unlocking with setool 2 or via the unlock code from the network provider, once your bootloader is unlocked you can proceed to flash an ics/jb rom just follow the instructions posted on which ever rom you want to install.

Hi xda forum members,
As said in the title, I have issues trying to unlock my mobile phone. It has ICS on it. The problem is : the phone won't accept my screen lock password anymore. I tried everything i found on the internet. First I tried to bypass the password with "Screen Lock Bypass" from Google Play but it says my device is not compatible with it. Then I tried to hard reset it but none of the long press volume buttons to access some menu tricks works ! I even looked for a way to brute force it but I didn't find anything. You guys are my last hope, so please if you know some way to hack my phone tell me !
Thanks for your answers,
Osinix64
P.S. This is my first post ever on any forum, so I am sorry if I did something wrong
