You need to provide us with more information and definitely post these kinds of things in the Q&A section. What ROM did you try to install, and what happened when it was done installing and you tried to boot. Where did this access to disk error occur? Are you rooted?
I will get a guide together on how to unbrick any galaxy tab pretty soon, for nobs.
I have bricked my tabs more than 10 times and unbrick them successfully.

If you were able to "unbrick" a "brick" it in fact never actually was a brick in the first place

Clockwork mod instead of Odin

So I use Odin and the snapdragon tool kit to root my phone. I have the stock rooted Rom that came with the toolkit. Right now I have to use the snapdragon toolkit to install Roms but want to be able to use clockworkmod cuz I don't always have my computer with me. So is there anyway to do that? And also what is the best ROM for the sg3

Go to the following link. just download CF kernel latest version. install it using ODIN. that's it you are done now you will be able to use CLOCKWORKMOD.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1695238
There are 2 ways to access CWM
1. press VOL UP+HOME+POWER, keep it pressed till samsung logo appears, than let it go.
2. in your app drawer there will be an app CWM, open it than tap on recovery mode and it will boot in CWM.

One question and that is important..if you have a GT-I9300 international version which has Exynos chipset why are you using Snapdragon Toolkit?
and if you have any other version of S3..why are you posting it here?

Dude, first: please turn of caps lock, no one wants to answer this way. You can't boot into CWM Recovery cause you didn't install it, I think. Installing ROM Manager does not mean installing CWM.

Hi mike..
I am also new to this site
What yu did is great..yu can do anything* you want now bcoz yu got super user permissions
Anything* means:
-you can flash a custom rom
-you can install/uninstall system applications too
-yu can hav play higher games like nfs shift, hotpursuit,Nova etc. By simply installing chainfire 3d.apk and some additional plug-ins
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
And lot more you can do...
U can also flash a custom kernel
thanks for response guys
Thanks for your suggestion guys, I really appreciate it. just want to ask how to do the flashing and getting a custom rom, I'm curious about it on how it works. and is it possible to upgrade my data connection from edge to hsdp or wcdma with root priviledge? cause everytime I change edge network to 3g or hsdp it turns back to edge. thanks again guys keepsafe
Just google about it buddy.
There are various custom roms available for you but you should search carefully for the one which is compatible to your device.

I see my friend, how will I know if it is the proper custom roon that I'm going to use? how I can prevent my phone of getting brick?
Just type "list of custom roms for **your phone model** " in google.
This list varies for each and every model, brand, motherboard specifications etc.
Be carefull. I hard bricked my phone once. Now its not even switching on. I have thrown it in dust-bin,it became useless

As of now Sir i have a problem with my phone because i didnt know that it is not right to transfer files from my phone storage to sd card like system files, im now in android system recovery and dont know what to do with my phone, i hope some one will help me in this trouble cause i dont know if this is the situation they called brick. thanks for your reply, i will gladly appreciate it.
This is the whole story regards my current problem
early this morning as i open my phone, i used to think that if i will transfer all files from my phone "system" in my 8g sd card it will be helpfull to lessen the burden of my processing ram that is 489mb available. I attemp to use root explorer to transfer the system files on my sd cards. i cut it in the root explorer option and paste it in my sd cards that is 8g. seconds passed it transfer files but as minute goes by it stock up and dont run anymore. i used to press the reboot system which is power botton + up volume and hold it in a couple of seconds. and then i stock in the system recovery and dont know what to do next. everytime i install some zip. files it is written that E: SIGNATURE VERIFICATION FAILED INSTALLATION ABORTED. thats the whole story. hope someone will help me to fix this issue.thanks for your time reading my message.

No..it wont work like that buddy!

Sorry man! Your stock rom was collapsed.....i got the same situation(error signature) with my samsung galaxy tab. Then i came to know that it was soft bricked.
Then i kept my phone in download mode and flashed stock rom(available in official samsung site) through Odin software using my laptop. Then is worked like before
So now what you do is......
Open google..and search for "How to soft unbrick **your phone model** "
You may find something which is helpfull.

The small clip that slides down that looks like a SIM slot may be missing if you bought it used. The Blu Studio SD card holders are very flimsy. Mine lasted for 10 removals of the SIM before it fell all apart. I have a Blu Studio 5.5.

Way late to the thread, but was what you were looking for available on G+? (I ask because I've got a new 5.5S and could make it available semi-stock)
If this is still not resolved, here is a link to another thread where files are available for download. I've gotten them myself but not tested yet. Will update in the week.
