I flashed Paranoid ROM on my HTC One V and now the phone reboots after the HTC logo screen,it can't move past it.
I have tried flashing boot.img, formatting my phone, deleting cache partition, doing factory reset,re-flashing the ROM but nothing seems to work. Please help me.
If all didn't work try flashing ruu make sure you choose the correct version you'll find steps here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2083822

Yes; you can unroot. All you need to do is to flash the RUU stock rom that included the stock recovery and the unrooted system image. You will get the phone back the way it was before you rooted; including all the bloatware!! You can find the RUU stock rom in shipped-rom.com under liberty.
But, sure you want to do this? Do you plan to return the phone? Did you follow all the steps while flashing roms, including wiping data, cache and dalvik cache?
yeah i am doing everything according to the post here on how to flash... i have only a 2 gig sd that came with the phone could that be he issues
thank you i am going to unroot n re root see if thats helps
i download the ruu file n try to run it from my pc it starts up but says cant connect to device ... which is currently stock at the lock screen..
For some reason when i try to use the ruu file it does not connect n gaves a error but htc sync works... please i need some serious help...

Hi,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S II and I thought I might as well try flashing a custom ROM (villain rom) which worked like a charm.
I now wanted to flash or go back to the original firmware which I'm able to flash and the words PASS come up on ODIN but whenever I flash any of the original roms it results in a never ending loop of rebooting where it goes to the animated S logo and then it reboots unendlessly.
Could anyone kindly shed some light on this as I would really like to restore it to factory rom.
Kindly,
Rolphez

You must read the instructions on page one of the relevant rom .

Perhaps if you read the WHOLE of the first post in that thread? especially the red writing.
If you wish to return to a stock ROM, you must enter recovery (home + power + volume up), and wipe user data, then turn off the phone by long pressing power. Then enter ODIN and flash your stock ROM
Thats what you have to do

I was cruising around the development forums today, curious if any ICS ROMs had been updated and were worth using.
I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1635824
Reading the posts of success in the thread and finding my self wanting to flash this more and more, i finally gave in and flashed. I went through the FlashGUI app to get the kernel working, then i recovery'd to flash the .zip. Now im stuck in a boot loop, it goes from the "htc" screen to "android", shows a black screen and the status bar at the top, then reboots again. The reboot is fast like a hot boot. What should I do to fix this? Thank you, I'm new to posting but i've been looking around here for awhile
Also, if it mattered, i have team win recovery and s-off Hboot 1.5 using the Htc Unlocker. Thank you!!
EDIT: I'm S-ON, not S-OFF. My mistake!
I have s-off and came from 2.17 firmware. All I did was wipe and flash the rom. Working just Fine. Uf ur s-off I would just re flash a stock firmware, factory reset and flash rom again
Edit read your edit......sorry

Ok I would reflash the Rom you was using before and the kernel oh you need to super wipe also and since your s off you don't need to use the g u i app thats for the ones that are not s off you can flash just like everyone else that's has s off meaning just use your custom recovery and make sure to wipe ceche and wipe delvik ceche and wipe battery stats format system and format data and wipe boot IMG and format all partitions except sd card when this is done press back and back again and you should see your download folder now you can flash your Rom and if you want you can flash a different kernel besides the one that can with you Rom I hope this helps

Well in that case continue to use the g u i app

We need more info. like which ARHD you tried to install, the cid of the HTC would be nice, s-on/s-off.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
it was arhd 41.x
s-off
CID-CWS_001
I would either wipe dalvik and data cache, flash a kernel, or ruu if your stuck in a rut. Based on the info given

Ok so here the deal. I have an HTC One M7 At&t model. I unlocked, rooted, s-off'd my phone. I was trying to flash the Android Revolution HD 6.1 GPE rom using twrp and it reported success. It seemed as if everything was working fine until the Google boot animation disappears. It tells me to select a language, than i select english, and i might make it as far as searching for a wifi access point. But no mater how far i get, my phone only stays on for about 3 seconds and then reboots. I tried wiping everything( yes Dvlk cache). I tried powering down my phone and plugging it into a wallcharger for 3+hours. I need help here. How can I get my phone working, preferably with the Android Revolution rom? But I am currently downloading stock with Sense just in case. Help me XDA, you are my only hope.

I did try a factory reset, if you mean the one in Twrp. And i would use that rom, but the only reason I rooted my phone was to flash the Google Play editon. I really really dislike att apps and sense. makes it feel clunky to me. Any other suggestions?
P.S thank you for the reply
So i loaded up the stock rom
I loaded the stock rom and it works again. But i still one a working 4.4kitkat GPE rom for the att htc one.... any sugestions
This will sound crazy
Make sure you've got a backup ROM on your phone.
Flash your new ROM. When it reboots, boot into TWRP again, and reflash the ROM a second time.
