but cortex a7 isnt the same that a9 no? the two are arm but i think the cortex a9 is more faster

IDK the specifics of our device, like some apps over around the android section have a note that says only ARMv6, ADRENO, PowerVR devices etc.
What is OUR device?

I'm sure it will be the msm7227A family just like motoluxe, ace+ etc.
So no need to be happy about this, armv6 is old and I don't think any company will invest on a phone using it..just my opinion
Also if you want to ask a mod to close this thread it will be nice

It has 1 GHz Cortex-A5. I think it is armv7. But yeah, the Adreno is just 200. Not bad anyway.

Yes its armv7.. Also its having enhanced adreno libs.. better than 200.. till now there is no official support in xda.. but people in modaco forum are very busy.. i think within a few weeks we will be having full cm10..:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

After P500, I don't think I will buy a phone unless it's cheap, has 1GB and a dual-core cpu. I have to wait for long time, but phones with lower specs will die very soon. See Nexus S.

I don't think that there is any supportfor it on xda. But I m sure soon it would get msny custom roms coz it is most popular phone in india right now. Out of stock on mamy sites.

HAHAHA!!! Buddy, you make me laugh! It is armv7, is has the best support I ever noticed! Better than Galaxy S1 or Optimus Black! Two months after I bought it, it upgraded OTA to ICS, while Galaxy S and Optimus Black were not able to do this in two years...
For me, G300 is the winner among these!

1) developer are trying to port which is near stable but RAM issues causing our device. But JB is smooth now. Check FXP CM10.
2) if you want to change, follow this instructions.
go to "/system" with root explorer
mount r/w
long click to build.prop
open with text editor
check this line
ro.build.version.release =
or similar to that line, search for it.
then change the value to anything. then save and reboot.

Anyway I think that Samsung devices use lesser ram. Maybe that's due to touchwiz or due to lack of features like front camera, led bar and usb otg

You can't compare to Novathor devices which has low ram even 378 mb. Developments and devices cannot be the same even they have the same specs or higher specs. It depends on the sources also.
