Now I'm sad I left my sensation :-( hope you get around to the port x, I would much rather a sense versiĆ³n where I can keep my wonderful camera. That's the main thing I love bout our device.

Yea all I found was screenshots, but from what I gathered all works except some minor bugs. There was some revisions to sense 3.5 so the launcher was different a little but I saw the launcher from ics and messaging installed over the rom just fine so with some theming for the notification bar and removing some of sense we could have a very aosp like rom with some of the sense benefits like maybe keeping our camera with all working stuff just wishful thinking I guess

I'm new to Android but the sense 3.5 from that link looks nothing like the one a dev here posted and the 4.0.3 here is blue and looks nothing like the one from the link.

Try them out for yourself to see what one u like the best... I'm running bulletproof at the moment seems to be very fast and stable and good battery (with the stock kernal)

If you try bulletpeoof, make sure you get the lastest version from xBoarder56's website. www.android-dev.us... He gives early releases there

I'll give an insight, I've used most of them. So far, the best one for me, and my current daily driver, is Energy. Really smooth, no FC's.

Stock ICS

I was keeping up with roms that did not include sense but since ICS with sense and 4g working came out I lost track of the senseless roms. Is any of them yet have 4g working?

I'm pretty sure all the ones from the leak have 4g working. I've tried Myn's and Mean ROM and they both have 4g working. Just check the thread to see.

i am sure there were some flashable zips to change the apps/icons to AOSP style

I've been using Cleanrom Dev Ed since it came out. It looks and works like AOSP with the exception of some menus. WiMax, 3D and camera all work.
It's as good as it's going to get for a while.

Sense 4.0

Are there any sense 4.0 roms available?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA
Y do you ask? Look before posting
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
No need to be rude.
The Sense 4.0 framework only works on ICS, which is why no one has ported it from the One X to Gingerbread for the Thunderbolt (or any other Gingerbread ROM). When we get a working RIL or an official leak/release from Verizon or HTC, I'm sure we will see someone strip the Sense 3.6 from the Thunderbolt ICS leak and replace it with a ported Sense 4.0 from the One X or other new HTC device.

There is an almost sense 4.0 on rootzwiki. It's a 3.5 sense based Rom. Couple graphics bugs but very solid.

I've run this on my OG EVO and it's surprisingly nice. It has the obvious bugs, but they are being sorted by some of the best sense dev's that sub-forum has seen. I guess I don't understand what the real hold-up would be if the T-bolt is already a step ahead with 3.6 hangin out there.

As far as ive seen the thunderbolt ics rom hasnt leaked yet, so we are data less on ics till then, I dont see someone putting out a sense 4 rom just to be nagged to death with eta requests

Not RIL is the hold up. We could port sense 4 all day long but it does us no good without ril or kernel source.

No rom on the evo is just going to work on the Tbolt. Don't flash roms from other devices or you just might get a brick.

CDMA or GSM. For CDMA, Newts is very good. Also, Team Nocturnal is working on one as well that is supposed to work well. As you said, the usual problems have not been cracked yet (3d and 4g).

I would try Pkmn Rom Charmander 4.2.0 which is the most stable rom.
But you should really check out Newts one s Rls2 when it comes out that is.
