Hi
I'm new to rooting /Rom's. I've tried to flash different Rom's, but now I've got stuck with a broken Carbon Rom. I've re-flashed, wipe data tried known working Rom's, but it keeps re-starting Carbon Rom!
I have tried to seek the problem, and how to delete this Rom, but I can't find anything about that.....
I've got Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300
Plz help ^o^ :crying:
Make sure you have a new Rom on sd card, then format system and data in recovery, then flash Rom or use Odin to flash stock firmware

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I've tried searching the forums and using different methods to recover it, but none have worked so far.
SO I flashed the ICS Domination theme over Diet ICS rom, stuff was continuously force closing, so I factory wiped with the intention of re-flashing just the rom... after a reset the phone was stuck on the samsung boot screen.
I've tried using Odin to load the stock Rogers rom, it says it worked, but trying to boot the phone up its stuck on the samsung boot screen.
Am I missing something? Is there anything you guys can suggest I try??
use ODIN to flash a new recovery.img and restore from a nandroid
I didn't make a nandroid backup (i know, retarded), where can I get one and how can I push it to my internal memory considering the phone won't start up and I can't flash from external SD
Hi All,
Had my S3 for ever a year now all rooted succesffully and runnung wanamlite roms. all of a sudden it died - Samsung fixed it and my and sent it back however it was now on 4.3.
The problem I have now is that I am not able to boot any custom rom - I just get stuck at the samsung Galaxy GT-I9300 screen.,
Root Phone and install CWM
Check with Root Checker and its successful
installed all types of rom including Wanam 4.3 to no avail
All Stock roms including 4.1.4 work
I'm a bit stumped and any help would be appreciated - its as if my bootloader is locked
Thanks,
Jag
Die you try formatting everything including internal sdcard?
Do you have an international SIII without a simlock? Or was your SIII shipped with a simlock in the first place?
If you have a verzion SIII try this:

Ive done a clean rom install through philz cwm - im assuming this is the same as a clean install?
Im based in the uk so doubt I have a verizon model.
Thanks
You say any that presumes you have tried them all .
In recovery format sdcard system data cache boot to download mode flash stock rom or boot to recovery and flash your custom rom .
Really you should start by reading the faqs and guides first .
Hi,
Sorry for being so brief.
I have formatted sd card through mounts and storage and cache
Done a clean ROM wipe also.
Still no custom rom appears to boot - all stock roms flash fine through Odin. Restores of stock ROM are also working fine..
Then you are doing something wrong .
Start with a stock cwm rom .

Hey folks,
I'm desperately trying to get a CustomRom working on my GP4.
I'm relatively new to the device, but not to CustomRom's, since I was using a Motorola Defy untill last summer, running CM7.2 and CM9, MIUI and a couple of others.
So here's my issue:
I flashed the Terrasilent Kernel in order to get CWM so I could flash the .zip's from there, as some weren't available for odin.
The kernel works fine, but as soon as I try to flash any CustomRom (I tried CM9, CM10.2, Hydrogen and the PACMAN Rom), I'm just getting infinite bootloops.
I also tried flashing with SD card removed, SD card back in....doesn't help. No matter whether it's done with odin or CWM.
Mostly I get stuck at the Samsung screen , the PACMAN insert coin or the Terrasilent phonebooth .
Does anyone have suggestions how I could make it work?
Cheers!

Did you wipe the data/cache? Also, I believe you're supposed to flash then ROM first, THEN you flash the kernel.

Forgot to mention that: I tried various ways: first wipe data/cache, then flash ROM; first flash ROM, then wipe cache; wipe cache, flash ROM, wipe again...
In order to get CWM recovery and being able to flash a zip I flashed the Kernel first. For CM9 I followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213152
As I couldn't flash any of the pre-flash zip from stock, I thought it's necessary to flash a kernel including CWM first. It was done in the same way in some youtube tutorial I watched, where the guy already had the terrasilent kernel on his device.
For odin, I will check if it works with first flashin the ROM and afterwards the kernel.
Cheers for your fast reply!
Hi everyone. Am new to my Nexus 4. After seeing many Nexus with custom roms, i thought to have one as well. I rooted my nexus using Nexus root toolkit and installed TWRP. Today i tried to install Beanstalk Rom in my phone. I installed the Gapps as well. I dint format the phone before flashing custom rom. When the phone started with the custom rom,i was getting a message like the rom is not stable and u need to clear the partitions. So i tried going back to the recovery mode and wiped everything except USB OTG. Now am stuck at google screen at startup. I cant access the phones memory to put the Rom and flash the same again. Please help me out..
