Hey guys.
I'm using a class 10 micro SD with my Galaxy Wonder.
Lately, all of my data stored in the micro SD disappeared like it was formatted by itself. And today, it happened again.
So, does anyone ever having an issue like this? Is it the micro SD or the phone that is problem?
Before it happened today, some of my apps fc so i wipe cache and fix permission.
Thanks in advance..

I have been trying to use some roms like SGSII Based on 2.3.6 for example, have done the dalvik cache wipe and a data/factory reset, and succesfuly instaled the rom, but it takes forever to complete the media scannig, and got stucked at 67%.
Any ideas whats the problem? faulty sd maybe?
thank you!
nope faulty rom -_-

No chance to simply try another SD card? Never experienced that problem :/

Hi there.
Has anyone succeeded with the issue that the media scanner gets stuck in the Galaxy Ace? I had this problem for long and don't know what to do. Basically my phone can read up to the SD card size of pictures and other data, but when I pack .mp3 files onto the SD card the scanner gets stuck anywhere between 60 and 75% and never completes...
It is not the SD card as I swapped them over to other phones and used different SD cards for mine....
Any advice would be highly appreciated
Thanks
Stefan

Maybe it is the SD card itself or some app u installed...
Do you use any Task Killer?
I got this kind of problem on stock rom when I used GoBattery and push "Kill task" while media scanning was on.
(Sorry for english )
Hey guys, so my galaxy s2 has been running on RR 3.0.5 with the latest siyah kernel. A problem I've been having is frequent media corruptions, and to solve that, I thought reformatting the internal storage would help. After doing so with cwm touch 6, it doesn't recognize my sdcard when i use my phone. What can I do to fix this?

do factory reset with internal SD wipe in the phone and not in CWM, and you should be fine.

Just did that, and sadly, it didn't help. The phone still doesn't recognize my external sd card.

Strangely, mounting anything from cwm never seems to work for my phone.

Could be that the SD card is faulty. Have you tried the SD card with another phone? Does your PC detect it?

So I tried swapping my SD card for another 32 gb one. However, it isn't the SD card's problem. It's that my phone simply doesn't detect that there IS a SD card mounted in it.

I remember there was this setting to mount the external SD card from settings > storage, but don't remember which ROM had that.
If that doesnt work/if that option isnt there, your last option is to check with stock ROM as suggested earlier. Maybe it is a hardware fault.

In RR there's no option for mounting external SD, only "unmount shared storage". Will try going back to stock 4.0.3 as my last option.
EDIT: Went back to stock 4.0.3, reformatted usb storage and sd card and flashed back RR 3.0.5. So far so good, no problems
My memory card is always unexpectlly removed when my device is idle, so I have to wait my gallery recreate thumbnail if I want to use it
It so annoying..
What should I do about this problem?
correct me if I'm wrong
your memory card slot might have became loose.. Also try cleaning the card once.. You can also try with another card to ensure that whether it is a problem with the card or your phone..
No its the problem with the rom
It happens a lot with custom roms
ALSO HAPPENED ON MY MMX A60
Call the developer for cure.

I just remember, I install custom rom 4 days ago, but I decided back to stock rom yesterday and still not solve the problem
correct me if I'm wrong
If the format doesn't solve your prob...try with other card and check whether you are getting the same error.. if so, then its time to check your memory card slot..
