Hi Friends,
There is a problem in the Audio while I do Video calling in my SGS3.
I did Video calling for first time in my phone using Skype. The chat went smooth for some time and then suddenly the Audio became very low and I was not able to hear my friend properly even at the full volume(using loud speakers) but the video was going smooth. So I had cut the call and ringed him again, the Audio and Video were normal but again after sometime the Audio became very low. The Audio is normal just for few minutes after the call is initiated.
I faced the same problem even when I tried video calling with Google hangout using the Google+ app. Facing the same issue each time I do video calling.
Note:
Used Wi-Fi for Video calling. 2 Mbps speed.
Android Version: 4.1.2
Please help me fixing this issue and what could be the reason for this problem.
Need help desperately.
Thanks in Advance
Guys,
No one knows a solution for this problem?

Howdy fellow atrix owners
I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the outgoing video chat volume. The person on the other end can barely hear me. I can hear them loud and clear. Ive used Fring tango and Skype and they have the same issue. My regular phone call volume on the other end is clear. some one please help! The video chat option is one of the main features that convinced me to buy this device.

So im guessing everyones video chat is working good then? Everyone i video chat with complain that they cant hear me even though i am yelling and close to the speaker.
Can someone please confirm that my problem is normal or not.
Qik and Fring both had significant issues with audio levels for me. Call recipients could not hear the audio, no matter how loud they set their volume.
Tango worked well for me, and Skype's audio has been fine, although both video and audio seem laggy on it.
Skype tells me that my device is not certified for video chat but lets me enable it. Video quality is horrible and sound still very low on the reciever end. I think my atrix hates me. Any one else have these problems?
Still haven't been able to get video chat working. Has anyone had this problem before? This is very frustrating.
Try with Google Talk
I don't video chat.
sorry.

Hi,
I've bought a new I9100 but I got a weird problem.
While recording videos, the device doesn't record audio at all.
I tried the voice recorder to check whether the mic is working or not and it the app recorded my voice like charm.
Is there a problem with my device's hardware or software?
Are there any fixes?
I downloaded LGcorder from the market but the same problem VIDEO without AUDIO.
I tried to use the phone headphones but nothing works.
All volume settings are ok.
Hope you guys can help me.

Nohting serious but i have a skype related problem, Skype works great and video works fine. Problem starts when i turn on the speaker and sound starts to eco for other person and cant even talk and for video call i need to turn on the speakers. other then that video works and ear phone works with call andy work around or solution.
I think back mic is causing the eco problem any way to turn it off to check the source of problem ???
any one out there ?
I had the same problem. Using a headset/mic is a workaround.
there must be a way around
I have recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaTab A2109-F which I was quite happy with, since this was the first time I have used an android tablet as I am coming from iOS background. Before I bought the tablet, I read that id had double microphone in order to make voice calls such as Skype clearer. Now , at first it seemed all good and I had people saying that the audio being received is clear and crisp on the other end of the call.
However after 2-3 mins in a call (every call) the microphone then goes really weird and audio being received from it becomes mumbled until it completely degrades where it seems like just random noises, sometimes it even goes all quiet. What I have noticed however , if I blow into the microphone it then goes all good again.
At first I thought it was a Skype app issue and so I downloaded a microphone voice recorder (memo recording sort of app) and same observations were made where voice being recorded completely degrades within 3 minutes of the recording, where blowing into the microphone temporary fixes the problem until it happens again after a minute or so.
Now I am lost here , I really like the tablet and I really doubt it's a hardware issue for some reason. I have a suspicion that something is either upping/lowering the sensitivity of the microphone and where blowing into the microphone seems to then readjust it.
I really hope somebody could help me out, maybe there is an app that allows to change microphone settings , or maybe something else that I could try out.
Thanks for your time! :good:
P.S Android Version: 4.1.1 and latest Skype app. I also tried upgrading the firmware, same problem was observed.
I still have the same issue on my Lenovo A2109. Skype, Line or any internet call, voice degrades within 8 - 10 mts and I had to end the call and re-do the call again. VERY ANNOYING... I thought it was just my tablet. I didn't try the trick of blowing into the microphone. Thanks for the tip. Did you get a solution yet? I thought upgrading would help. But thanks for confirming.

Hallo everybody,
I have Bluboo Maya Max with the latest original firmware (DK9F23WAE.LTXI.H.SCS8.0419.V3.07) and did not try to root the device or change anything related to audio setup.
When I try to use Maya Max for VOIP calls (only audio-calls) with Whatsapp or Skype - it works good, the other side (the person I am calling) can hear me as well as when I call directly, i.e. VOIP audio call is very good and I can hear the other side very well.
However, when I try to do a Video-Call through Whatsapp or Skype (or any other Videocall app) - the video (picture) is good (in both direction), I can hear and see the other side very well, they can also see me very well, BUT: the other side can not hear me or hears me very badly !!!! As if my microphone volume is
I could not find any setup option to increase the microphone volume.
It is the same no matter what Internet speed I have and no matter if it is LTE or WiFi-DSL-connection. As if the phone uses another microphone or different audio-setup setting/volume when I try to do the Video call . This is specific to my phone (Bluboo) since when I use another phone (Laegoo or Samsung S6) at the same place/time and with the same Internet connection method - the other side can hear me and see me very well (so it is not problem of the I-net connection speed).
Does anybody have an idea why is this happening and how could I solve the problem?
Thanks for your help/suggestions.

Did you ever find a fix for this?
I installed [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][m8qlul] LineageOS 15.1 for HTC One M8s a few days ago and have encountered an issue where audio seems to work fine on normal calls, WhatsApp calls, and in video, but in WhatsApp (and Messenger) video calls although I can hear and see the other person they can see me but cannot hear me.
All permissions for WhatsApp are enabled. I cleared data, uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled but observed the same issue.
Is there anything else worth trying?
