Well..
I didn't want to start a new thread, but I can't figure out the problem by myself.
I'm on stock ics and I want to use new sony widgets. ( weather widget + OnOffTools )
so I get them from a rom zip and pushed to system/app
After that when I try to add them to home screen, nothing appears.
I tried to wipe their data using TB
moving them with root explorer and change permission
install as normal apk, still doesn't work
convert to system apps via link2sd
and still the same result.
anybody have any idea on what to do?
I also tried with the same process. But they won't work. I guess it's a framework related thing. Changed my framework files and it worked.
Okay, I'm going to check this, I flashed nxt framework and settings recently.
For the new widgets you have to use new Xperia Home! You can find the latest version in themes section!
I'm using GX with mini corners by Sejar, and it is not working.
What is the new home you refer to?

Hi, i already post it but in general section, i thod this was more apropiated, this works in any xperia 2011
In stock firmware, if you delete the bootanimation in system/media and leave it like that you get a new ''android bootanimation'' just delete, reboot and see ^^

Its working on almost all 2.3 roms including cm7(i have cm7 and the "stock" bootanimation appears when I delete mine)

I just successfully installed Ice cream Pureness build 11, and flash Xperia S TimeScape Social Panel Apps (5 Home Screens on Launcher). However where could I able to find or install/flash the Xperia Home Preferences
That is for the modded xs launcher. Build 11 has gx launcher

Search in the Xperia Arc themes and apps section. Someone has posted it. It is a flashable zip to be flashed using cwm.

HomeCustomizer for SONY ICS ROMs
I didnt find it too! Here's an easy tutorial if you have Pureness b10 or any other Rom with the Xperia s home and customization options downloaded on your PC, open the zip using winrar or 7zip etc, go to /system/app and search for home.apk, homeadd.apk.and homepreferences.apk and add widget.apk copy them and place them on your sd card. Then on your phone, from root explorer or any equivalent file manager, copy those apks from that folder to /system/app. If prompted to replace say yes. Change the permissions of all those to rw- r--r-- and reboot.
I know it may sound complicated but thats the only way to do it apart from searching.

i just installed a new mod on my Xperia mini via recovery and when i powered an unlocked my phone i had only a black screen but menu and all icons where at their place! i tried to restore my Phone but i saw that i hadnt made a back up! i now i am stupid but is there a mod that would solve my problem?

Either look for a ROM that works on locked bootloader (I presume your BL is locked) which can be installed via recovery
Or if you want stock ROM then repair with Sony ericcson update service.

Then you're able to launch any app, right? If so, ask around for stock systemui.apk and defaultthemes of mini and you can just copy and replace them. Otherwise, try my previous solution.
I have mini pro, so i can't give you.
I had this problem once too, but mich more serious. I just reflashed my the ftf file of my model and restore back the apps. Hope it works for you

Many thanks,again .Procedure that i've followed: flash Thilina's Walkman v 7.5,then flash Pranav's Walkman v 6.Delete semc metadata cleanup.apk from system/app and replace it with the one provided in the OP. Flash Media App.zip, wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot.Also Facebook and Picasa pictures are shown in album.PS I'm using stock 587 rom with unlocked bootloader via official way ( Sony Website).

Album doesn´t work and when I'm on wifi, walkman doesn´t work and it says that an app called Dispositivos.apk (i think that in english is Devices.apk) force close. Please could you solve it? I think you have done a very good job, but this bugs couldn't allow us to enjoy this great work. Thanks and sorry for my bad english .

Mate, it's a problem with your rom, because for me everything works perfect, and i'm on unlocked bootloader, stock 587 rom.

I've reinstalled the stock room 2 days ago and i didn't touch nothing of it until I've install this, so i didn't think so. With data trafic my only isue is the album apk, it doesn't start. Could you test all media apps while you're on WiFi please?

Everything is tested with WiFi,i don't use data traffic.Here are some ss...PS: In movies,actually there isn't the movie "Titanic",i just searched info to show that download info is working in Movies as well.

there many version on its upload site...
can u tell me which version (non or xperia-basd-v.) and on which rom u confirmed working? does the wigets work there

Well.. you should choose the right combination for your Rom.
But the launcher is not working atm.

i've download it couple days ago and put it in my JV-EX..
the launcher is almost same as my port,
except my port is lighter in size and have activated original dock bg for mdpi devices..
But sadly, ThilinaC's widgets are not original honami widgets..
They're actually old widgets that have themed to looks like honami widgets though

I dunno, just flash it on my JV-EX and it's works normally (replacing default launcher)..
For stock CM10.1 i only tried my own port and it's working flawlessly too
For people who get any errors please provide logcat,
and please remember that Honami launcher is only for 4.2.2+ !!
4.0- will not parse it, and 4.1x have some missing java codes
I'll check further and will update any informations in this post,

1. Fresh installed CM10.1 20130603 on my coconut
2. Boot to system and activated debugging
3. Pushed my honami launcher port to system/app via adb
4. Pressed Home button and select Xperia Launcher
