Hello,
Does anybody out there knows how I can remove the Quick settings menu on the top of the slide-down notification menu (-> screenshot)? I've been googleing it for 1 hour now but didn't find anything. The reason is: I just want to replace it with widgetsoid's quick settings menu. But both together look bad.

I am not really aware of any way to remove it at all, doesn't widgetsoid have an option to replace it? or maybe there is some flashable zip to remove the bar in the dev section.

You can remove it with jkays deluxe app. Have a look in original development. Be advised it is a paid app if you want all features but to me it is worth it.

Greetings to all members.
I just got an HTC Flyer today, and I noticed some strange things while checking its software.
On the settings accounts&sync there's no Google sign in listed so I cannot use market and gmail and other google stuff on the pad.
It has HTC Hub and HTC likes icons and on the back of the pad it says With HTC Sense but sense doesn't show up on homescreen and when i open HTC HUB it shows me Insert Sim and closes itself.
More interesting is when I opened back cover there was a Micro SD slot (Functional) and the SIM SLOT place but it was empty , no SIM PIns and if you insert sim it just doesn't stick on the place.
I tried hard reseting and all the stuff but the Flyer comes the same way after hard reset, No initial Setup screen for accounts and stuff.
Here are the information on the Settings/About tablet screen:
On tablet identity:
Model Number
HTC Flyer
IMEI
355195XXXXXXXXXXXX4
IMEI SV
01
Device Serial Number
00000000000000000 (All zeros - really strange)
Tablet Number
Unknown
IMSI
Unavailable
On the Software information Page:
Android Version:
2.3.3
HTC Sense Version
2.1 for Tablet
Baseband Version
20.32.30.0807U_3807.03.00.28_M
Kernel Version:

Software Number

Browser version:
WebKit/533.1
Anyone has any idea what does this thing mean, can I update to any stock or custom ROM securely?
Thanks in advance
Edit:
Some screenshots I took, maby can help someone identify the build.
This is DevTools installed by defaults

You need to upload the Image file in any servers (Like Dropbox or Imgur) to make it view-able for us bro.
Just giving the location from your computer doesn't helps.

Which is your phone model actually?
I didn't understand that 'yakjujb' part.
If its Galaxy Nexus, then you can find various ROMs in this Device-specific forum :

Well, read through the comments in ROM thread which you are interested. Many users would have posted the feedbacks.

Apologies if I am breaking any rules with this. I read the rules please don't hurt me!
I've rooted my device and have CWM installed, flashed a few ROM's and gone back to stock, unrooted and rooted again so I know how to do a few things and I always back up. However, I want to be able to customise my experience rather than use someone else's customisation.
For example, I prefer the True Android interface as opposed to the Touchwiz experience but I like the Messaging app from Touchwiz and wish I could retain this as it allows me to link accounts for the same contacts really easily.
I also prefer to change tracks with the volume rocker when the phone is asleep. I can do this without removing the phone from my pocket and is very useful when training.
Basically, once I flash a custom ROM, can I then flash further MODS to it to add in the features I still want whilst benefiting from the faster operating speeds and battery life etc. I get over the stock ROM? I've read the wiki and understand difference between kernels, roms and apk's but would like to know how to apply this knowledge. I am never going to be a developer but I would like to know how to apply their work more effectively to my devices.
Would appreciate any education I can get on this. I'm happy to read up I don't expect to be spoonfed the answers.

Thanks, this looks like some sort of customisable ROM, is that right?
If I download, for example, Omega as it seems popular, can I then make changes to that?
