Hey guys, since I just recently got my DNA, I have had trouble with it pulling my email.
I use Hotmail as my main email account so I chose it from the email setup. I set up the email to sync every 15 minutes for peak and non-peak times. With that being said, I am only getting my emails when I go in and manually sync it. It won't come through on its own like it's supposed to.
Any ideas? Am I missing a setting? I have removed my account and started over with the same results. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Is auto sync turned on in settings?

Make sure you have email checked.

Yes, sync is checked and no dice. Any other ideas?

Hey guys,
So I have literally followed every guide in trying to get my Atrix to vibrate on a new email, but it still does not work. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Sorry for the newbish question btw.
Thanks.

You could use the app vibration notifier.
You can set it to vibrate.....open gmail app, go to settings, pick the account you wanna change, go to the bottom and click "labels to notify", click inbox, click vibrate and set to always and there you go.

Anyone know why Twitter must be first opened before it will sync after system boots up? Sometimes I'll forget and miss like 7 hours of sync.

I can't get my godaddy emails to work with the stock email app. Receiving is fine, but I can't send. It comes up eroor authenticating. Does anyone know how to get it to work? (Using POP).
I would try using google to get the server settings.

Been using Exchange to get corporate mail/contacts/calendar/etc since the I got the phone in November. Never had any issues.
Interestingly, just before last weekend, my (MSExchange) email went berserk. I couldn't get any email (wifi or 3G/HSDPA) and about three hours after noticing the issue, an sms told me I'd used 80% of my 1GB data allowance. Two hours later, my allowance was used-up and I still had no emails coming through.
It coincided with NOTHING. No downloading, no app installs, no streaming, nothing.
I performed a factory reset and it's all back working again. The phone's stock and unrooted.
What about the stock email app..... I have issues with it turning my email into plain text eve of though I have selected html
You guys seeing this?

I think mine was doing the same once, but certainly now it's HTML. Whether it was back in HTML before the hard reset, I can't say. Sorry.

I have this problem too. Always goes back to plain text. Got sick of it so I just deleted the mail app and installed the aosp 4.1.x mail apk that has the pin removed. Works great.
