[Q] jellybeans OTA error message - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I don't have enough post to ask this question on the Jellybeans developer thread so hopefully someone can either post my question for beans or provide a solution...I'm rooted/unlocked and have been using jellybeans10 rom (great rom by the way) ...when trying to update to version 11 via OTA however I get the following error message when trying to download the new ROM.
Error fetching update info: Invalid ROM (jellybeannst0ltevw) & device (t0ltevzw) combo!
Anybody know if this is an OTA issue or if I have a problem between my rom and device? Suggestion/direction will be appreciated.:good:

It is a problem with the ota system. You will need to update manually.

Yep. Hey a quick tip. This had been talked about a lot in the beans thread about 4 pages ago. If you open up the thread, hit the menu button and select search you can search for a key word in that thread only.

Problem with Dlev7 1.3

Hi, this is my first post in this forum, and I have installed the rom "Dlev7 1.3" from Dlev7 for my samsung galaxy s 2. and after installing it I realized I had no APNs in the list where should aparecer.hice wipes and all appeared, but I have neither the spare parts, or the BLN control, or the MOD Jkay. so I have no shutdown CRT, and you do need something more. Why are deleted?
Now I'm looking to return to them and not do it, just do not want you to remove the unlock screen appears an application. (when I had the mod Jkay).
thanks
Yoi need to look and ask your questions in Diev thread.

There is no problem with the dlev rom 1.3. If you are installing it for the first time , you have to make a full wipe installation method, else you will have problems.
Also posting this in the dlev rom thread would be appropriate....

Thank you
I did try to read most of the thread, but in the first post of that thread, only link i see for Gapps is below:
GApps
--h-t-t-p://goo-inside.me/gapps/
Which simply lists all the available zips of google apps. This is the first time i've ever seen Gapps separated from the rom install, which might have been part of my initial confusion.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

all cm9/aokp roms are flashed separately from Gapps bro. its how its always been. this must be your first time flashing one of them? and you dont need to pick which apps you want out of that zip. just flash it in CWM.
Yes it is the first time i've flashed one of those roms. I've had been running ICScrewed (multiple versions) for the last 3 or 4 months. So never had to flash the Google Apps.
Again, thanks, It makes sense, I understand it now.
Thanks everyone for the help.
I do have a question, if you flashed the "wrong version" of the Gapps, coud it hose your phone in anyway? or could you just reflash the correct version in cwm?

It's not straightforward, because it depends what version of ICS you have. One can be rooted using conventional exploits, the other two require a bit more work.
The rooting information for more recent ICS builds is here but it is buried somewhat - even so links to VERY detailed instructions can be found in the Q&A thread here, you should find them within 10 minutes.
I'm bored so I'll do a quick search and get back to you.

Is a good starting point.
If you get stuck anywhere, ask in the Q&A thread, people will help with specific problems, not vague "I need root" requests. There must be a dozen or more guides out there and all we can do is repeat what has already been said many times.
I can understand why people are daunted, you don't want your phone out of action for too long waiting for someone on XDA to maybe respond to your request for help. but whilst the process can be time consuming (the first time, before you've downloaded all the tools you need) it isn't complicated. If you're not even prepared to try to follow one of the guides, people here might question whether you really need a rooted phone...
Thanks @Parkside

Might be! For the moment, nothing.
Im just having a tester from 432 and 636 verify it is working before I upload it as I don't want any problems or I may have to change it to al10 only.

For that, do you have an undo in order to remove it if never it doesn't work?

It's being "tested". As with the previous mod this usually takes a few months and then never will be released.
In the meantime there will be some shouting to the mods about the people who report the thread (that was me by the way) for being a placeholder without any usable content.
History repeats itself so it appears :good:
Placeholder threads are not allowed on XDA. Thread closed until the author has updated the OP with a link to their work.
