hello all
I've searching this forum for the live with walkman "walkman 3.0 app", I've found numerous apps (mostly version 1.0), but can't find the right one...
I have it here on my phone (Live with walkman), and want it on my tablet (nexus 7).
I've been able to get it out of my phone through going to /system/app and finding it there, but if I try to install that one on my tablet, it just displays "app not installed" (I'll include the app to this thread)

here are some screenschots I took on my phone.
I hope anyone here has the app so I can install it, or someone knows a way to get around the "app not installed" error...
(on my nexus 7 I have a cyanogenmod 10.1)
if you have any questions, please ask!
thanks!
have you installed walkman in u're nexus before?
No, I tried but kept failing...

try open sdcard/.android_secure if you find "smdl2tmp1.asec" , delete or if you don't want to take some risk, move "smdl2tmp1.asec" to other directory
after that try to install walkman

since the nexus 7 has no sdcard it uses an emulated sd card
I used root explorer to search in mijn "/" partition (so everywhere), and searched manually and can find neither "android_secure" nor "smdl2tmp1.asec", seems I don't have that file and folder...
Move the app using root explorer to /system/app and change the permission to 0644 or rw-r--r-- or like this
xx-
x--
x--
And then reboot the phone and see if the app is installed....
Press THANKS if I helped,
Best Regards,
AJ
Too bad, that didn’t do anything either...
Thanks for trying anyway...

Which framework files?? You mean framework files of stock firmware?
Don't install it, you need to place it to /system/app folder and set permissions rw-r- - r- -.
And yea, it might need framework files from CM also. It isn't easy job to port apps like this.

I have more than 400mb free to install apps! Why i'm getting this error now? This happen only with FPSE. Anyone getting this? Please, help-me!

Same problem, but not got a answer myself. Did you use lucky patcher to remove the license check while trying to play games? This is when it went wrong for me. Anyone with any advice please.
Push FPSE apk to /data/app and chmod 644.
Not sure what that means but it's the most help I've had with the issue, I will look into it and thanks for the quick response.
I mean copy FPSE apk file to /data/app and set rw-r--r-- permissions (using Root Explorer of course)
I now have the app installed but it now force closes on me but thanks for your help as I have searched for help for days now.
Actually, look in /data/app for all FPSE files. There will likely be a .apk, and a .odex file. If there are, delete them both, and try installing again. The existence of the .odex file is what usually causes this message when you have plenty of memory.

1. Check your APP, should have a SuperSU with a "#" icon.
update it from PLAY store, it should become a "super Android" icon.
2. open it and check new version binary libary update. setup notification mode.
if that not work for you. try search a flash-able version SuperSU to flash.
then with ROOT Explorer or File manager HD, you can mount /system as writable.
check the file manager HD setup, you can click the 2 checkbox.

That mean you do not gain root permission.
Install busybox from PLAY store and update its binary then try again.

The apk file may not be compatible with the new device that you are restoring the backup to. So it shows the error as "Application not installed".
If you can give more information such as device names, rom, kernel, baseband etc. Then maybe we can find a solution.
K pulled the app from an Android tv box called vbox
I'll just paste the screenshot

Do not know - Just try. If you will get FC just remove it. Try and tell us.
Doesnt work on cm12.1
It really works on stock 5.02 Lollipop with root. Permission shoud be rw-r-r then restart system. Działa.
Don't know how to give permissions but I really want it. Any tutorial over here? Can't found any.

Change it with a file Explorer app with root permissions (I use mixplorer)

Permissions on es file menager
Find a file and go to properties then click change on permissions and you have position like read, write, executive.
All pools (owner, group and other) on read should be positive, write only positive 1 pool (owner). Execute all pools negatives. Then confirm changes as ok. You need root to change permissions.

If you can provide a log, then I might be able to help.
CM is missing LG 's frameworks and resources, some of which are probably required for this to work.
Problem
