Also, I give credit to whoever made the vr-theme script. I have looked and looked for the creator, but i cannot find he/she. If anyone can tell me who made the script, I would appreciate it.
Simple: Custom transparent weather works for all TW ROMS
One is completely transparent and one is transparent with just the land.
You MUST be rooted. ROM/android version does not matter as long as it's TW based.
To install this mod download the files and put them in any folder on your ext sdcard. Boot into recovery (I prefer TWRP) and go to install (install zip from sd card for other recoveries) and find the zip file you want to flash.
SHOULD work with any ROM that is TW based. If you have any requests comment on here or send me a pm.
(Requests can be on anything just state what you want and be clear about it)

Tried your mod. It screwed it up. Don't make false accusations. I pulled the images from the stock apk and made them transparent

Gramsey I was using yours have not used the ops, but you can't base of he used your work on when he released it. Nitroglycerin33 released his transparent widget probably a month before yours (it was on his website) that didn't mean you kanged his work without credit, did you?

Well that's fine and if you notice I wasnt accusing you. I was actually using yours as I said. I was just pointing out timing is not any proof at all. Also you don't know if he knows what he's doing our not honestly is not a hard mod and there's guides in t mobile to change the background anything.
His timing is a little suspect, but then download his and check to see if it's yours or not. If it is he could get banned and at the minimum this thread would be closed.

It was glitchy to those who didn't follow directions...again after I made the zip there have been no issues ...read my threads for proof of that. I also don't like people to be shady about stuff either. Just ask yourself how it looks to me. Well you can think of it what ever you want. I flashed yours and my date got fkked up. So what did I do? I used es file explorer and extracted accuweatherwidget.apk to my sdcard extracted the apk to get the contents and edited the rest files to be transparent. Mind that the only ly files being molded are the weather bg. Funny how I made mone way before your thread was posted. I tried many others and they didn't work. So calm your pants

Got hired to be a programmer through my school and learned everything again, you may be a decent, but making false accusations will make you a laughing stock and brand yourself as a cry baby blaming others trying to say we stole your work. should have been dead a long time ago. It should have never started. You should have pm me instead and I would prove to you I didn't steal. I know you always pay directions , I know that and I'm not ignorant. I'm glad yours works for others and maybe not some. But I know this will work for anyone because it does not replace the apk. Use the vrtheme script instead that way you can just edit the pngs.

Ok, so back to the mod... It looks great, but when I click on the clock, it goes to the weather. Is there a way to Ref enable this? I use it for my alarm, and really don't want put a clock app on my home screen. Not a huge deal, just wondering if I'm missing something. Thanks!

Thanks to untermensch. This is a port of his original mod for the Vibrant.
I updated the reboot options to work with DJ05. The first attachment is just the reboot mod. The second attachment includes both the reboot and accurate battery mods.
These will only work if you have DJ05 installed (you would know if you did).
Hahaha, I love how we have mods for DJ on XDA before the actual update. Just a Tad messed up.

Oh don't get me wrong, I understand why it hasn't been released yet. I just think it's a little messed to post all these themes and mods for something a lot of people don't have. It's less than ideal. However, anyone who wants DJ05 can get it. They just have to go elsewhere to get it.

LOL. I feel like the heavy hint dropping on this forum pretty much guarantees that anyone who wants 05 can get it, but by making it slightly more difficult than clicking a link it takes out the stupidest 30%. By making those who want it go to the best place to get help, that further slims down the number of "I don't know what I did nor what I was doing, but my phone doesn't work right anymore and I can't be bothered to search for a fix" threads. The only other way I can think of to do the same thing would be to require people to use adb to install the update, so at least they learn some basic tool use in the process.
That being said, I'm still on 01 and have no intention of upgrading until I see a theme/ROM combo that I fall in love with.

Make a file labeled "enable_glass_lock" and place in data/local. Puzzle lock will available immediately thereafter.

After I installed GAPPS, and downloaded Pulse, the Market FC's every 3 seconds. I think it was probably an installation error but since I deleted my boot partition on accident, It might be a while until I can look into it.

Alright, It does that for me every once in a while but it goes away after a force restart with the power button. I will just have to go step by step again and see what app is causing it. Thanks for letting me know!

I agree....however......installing CM7 on the nook is so darn easy that many people who have limited computer skills are getting in on this game. Lots of folks who could not modify the CM7 install might want something like this. I am not sure what that this particular 'custom' ROM has to offer....yet. Who knows, maybe he will eventually get a modified install worth the trouble. I have never tried it myself, but the 'phiremod' modification has its fans...it is basically the same as this but obviously much more refined and with its own theme.
Why do people flame someone who creates a new rom on this forum? Look what happened to the last rom you guys flamed. He took it down!
If you don't like what he is doing then DON'T DOWNLOAD IT! It's that easy.
Maybe this is his first attempt at a rom. For all you know he could be the next cyanogen or koush. If you flame him enough he will just say screw it and leave.

Because it's a low-effort ROM. Seriously, all he did was pull a few APKs out of the ROM and didn't even test the effects of the missing APKs.
We shouldn't encourage low-effort posting like this. If someone comes out with a good ROM, people will respect that, but this isn't even a ROM. It's CM7 with APKs ripped out of it

I have accidentally formatted my SD card before. Mistakes happen. I would like to get a CM without unusable apps on a nook. There is more to it though than just removing the apk. Market stuff, system... etc.
I also applaud the goal you are trying to reach. i have been curious for months now in seeing how much faster an odexed rom for the nook could be.(if it's possible) or at least apk optimized with unnecessary images and language packs taken out.Hopefully one day a dev can try and cook one up. Don't let anyone discourage you.
With the help of many from this thread and some people that i sent pm's to that took the time to help me out (waaaayyy to many to list)and some people that i kanged a few things from(mayfield's weather icons,eg&jeffs dialer, and a few icons here and there(cant remember where their all from, so if you see something that i "borrowed from you please tell me and i'll give proper credit).
I decided to release my first theme(so NO it's not prefect, yet), and there may be a few green items i missed, but here she is let me know what you think. Its based on warm 2.3 but should work on cleanrom 2.9 and up. screen shots below. As i learn more i'll update more and add more colors and icons.

if your using TRWP 2.0 i have a Purple theme for it that matches my theme(thanks teamwin, and li duce)just remove (xxxx)leaving ui. using root explorer go to sdcard\TWRP\theme* place it there and when you reboot in to your recovery its there
*(you must make a theme(lower case) folder inside TRWP folder)

try to text to fast and you get all kinds of new words never thought of the last part. i have to go through the dictionary every now again to clean out the non words

I did a purple one for the OG evo, and I remember using a wallpaper fom HTC hub that kicked ass, it should be under colors in HTC hub(just hit wallpapers, Get more)

I installed manually. The updated list might not have my small town i live in. I also tried changing permissions to rw,r,r to no avail.

When i search my city is now listed, the city you wanted me to search for is listed as well. The widget is not updating the city though and is just displaying the state for me.

where are you? you must be in a pretty small town? before the mod was the widgit showing your town bro?
because before and after the mod it is showing my correct city.
i had it confirmed from someone using the one s that when traveling after the mod a lot of cities showed that didnt before! so the mod is deffenitley working, must just be the town your in broham! that sucks im sorry man.

The city was not on the widget before or after. I did some digging and it appears this just updates cities you can manually select. They dont transfer to the locate services. The last few posts here explain it. If somebody could figure out how to get the new cities added to the locate service that would be awesome!

yup. thats exactly what it does bro! still pretty sick!!! because when i travel back home to montana to visit family after the mod, those cities show!!

This mod is known to cause issues for people in certain geographical locations. We did this on Warm, and found out many people had issues. Use this at your own risk.

Really? If u followed my link......u would have seen, i posted that it was causing some people problems. But u dont have to come in here n b like.........use at your own risk!! Because its easily reversable! , not gonna blow up, or brick a device!!!
And a lot of users are thankful for it, as am i when i travel back home to little cities. So please, dont come in this thread pushing people away from a good mod! Thanks

This place is to help others with issues most have encountered not to make sure someones thanks meter can be increased, It will not affect you much by someone else just stating that others have experienced issues. And just to make it clear every mod on XDA is a use at your own risk, unless you are going to guarantee anyone a replacement phone if there is the slightest chance someone actually gets a brick device.
