i was going to get all info and links and post a easy 123 step method for locked bootloader 2.3.4 neo with 62 fw.
like this. (just example idk what comes first or what to do yet)
1) download this (*****)
2) download that (*****)
3)put (***) in the folder named (*****)
4) connect phone in flash mode
5)flash this and that
6) done. you can now put roms on and you have full root access..
i suggest use pandemics answer thank him and grant him best wishes with his work maybe donate him.
i will also post a list of roms that work with locked bootloader, maybe an ics version or 2
Basically i make this for simple instructions to get root cwm and rom. i will work hard to try make this good very very noob guide,
I see your xtra noob guide. after downloading and doing as you say will that give me root cwm and custom rom? have you got list of roms i can use if i root neo with your guide?
It's not hard to understand, but just you are lazy to try understand.
How can: flash .42, root, OTA (optionally flash .62 kernel) be hard to understand? What can be more simpler/noob prof than this?
Things aren't complicated, it just need to take some free time to TRY understanding them.
If all this is to complicated, only 1,2,3 which I can suggest is:
1)turn on phone
2)use it stock
3)turn it off

don't be lazy, go trough dev section and check yourself what rom's are for locked BL's.
it's not hard, actually most of them have word locked or unlocked in their title.
This is not for me i know this. i root my old phone, i am experience enough to cook my own rom on my old phone i also rite simple android apps so i know this. i do this for someone who not had android before i want nice simple instruction for them without the corporate mumbo jumbo

I don't know your earlier experience and knowledge, but based on your questions in this thread, you don't know how to do it, or it's hard for you to understand. (to lazy to quote each of your sentence with question). Maybe I'm wrong, but I just reply on your posts.
Also, making instruction even more simplified(then the one on Pandemic link) we are making zoombies out of people, who don't use their heads to think and try to understand something. People becoming to lazy these days.
I dont think its lazy, i work with zombies that need zombie noob guides lol.
i am not lazy i do this for the community that want easy answer and list of roms for locked bootloaders (i am now searching and editing my posts with roms i find) please see my second post

A much safer way to root our S3 is CF-Autoroot.
Once you root you'll lose the ability to OTA to download updates.

well, now I'm interested..is framaroot non safe,as it caused no harm,or is there any other reason.. i used framaroot because it wasby far the simplest solution, but if it's not safe I would use cf auto root for future 4.3 update..
thnx
Framaroot doesn't even work on latest roms.
OP Please read general > sticky roll-up thread > understanding the basics before rooting

so CF-Auto-Root is the safest way ?
also the safest way to get any future updates?

Read the stickies first that were pointed out by rootSU first. It's in his signature.
And yes CF-Autoroot is one of the safest way if not the best way to root.
To get future updates there are various ways but the safest way is to use Odin.
But to understand it all better read the stickies first because there's no turning back once you brick your device for not learning the basics.
ok i see... no clear answer...
thank you ALL !!!
i ll stick with my stock, unrooted rom
What do you mean "no clear answer"?
It's clear enough! Please read
