Hai there, I also got the same hdmi cable like that, but when i using it with my s3 Omega rom latest it doesnt show on my bravia sony lcd hdmi standy, still confius about it, does it not work with my rom?. THANKS.

I use it regularly, just not without the power input, and from his question that is what he wanted to know
well i tried but no luck. it shows black screen & 720*480 hdmi connected
is there any setting that i have to do in phone ???
Also i tried on 4 tv's so i guess issue with cable.

I found I had to reboot mine and hit the hdmi input on the tv during boot then I got the picture

Well when I plug mine in it freezes the phone then turns off, so I leave it connected, reboot, and at the Samsung boot screen I hit the input select hdmi and wait and bingo, up it comes

hmm I tried that too. i guess i got the faulty cable then. have to return it. will never buy anything from ebay for sure.

This utility even transfer the controls... So that u can control ur s2 thru mouse and best of all u dont need hdmi cable.. Just ur data cable do the trick....

Not sure why you would find this useful considering the chances of your PC having HDMI input is around zero.

I just got the latest version of Stweaks and saw that there was a way to change the amount of power used for USB charging.
Would this feature or another mod enable me to draw more power from the USB port so I have a hope in hell of powering a small USB hub?

When you have STweaks then you must have googy kernel or siyah installed...but i wouldnt do increase the usb power to much...cause you
can damage you interior of your phone

You are here in the wrong forum its galaxy SIII not NEXUS please read in your forum....and STWEAKS is from Ghokanmoral. I think he is
not developing for the Nexus.....
My sony live with walkman screen went really dim and then blank . I did a hard reboot by removing and re-installing the battery. The phone comes back on but the screen is blank. I can swipe and feel the vibration you get from unlocking the phone but still just a black screen. The bottome keys are also lit up...if i press them i can feel the vibration...evn i cn recive a call talk do every think..only problem nothing is visible on screen just a blank black scree.....
I tried reinstalling android 4.0 again with pc companion..after reinstalling android it works fine for 1 or 2 days and after it again the same problem starts....
please help me.....

If I were you I would claim warranty (on locked bootloader/unrooted)
my phone has exactly the same problem as yours, unfortunately all things including flash stock rom, unbricking using .ftf on the first aid thread, change kernel, none of those work
Have you tried using SUS(Sony Update Service? It's a really awesome program. Google it.

well in my case it's not actually a really blank screen, the screen is pretty dark it look likes it showing nothing but when you put it next to a very bright light like lamp, you could see that the phone is actually on and showing the lockscreen. i have try almost everything, Using SUS, Flashtool, changing kernel, i even relock my bootloaer, but still same. in the thread i make they told me that it is a hardware failure, i guess it is true, maybe due to overheating issue because after i google it some xperia ray user encounter the same problem, and what scares me that some of the user say that what broken is the motherboard, so there is no hope for the phone, but after i do some deep research, there still some little hope by changing the LCD, but the sparepart is still shipped. i hope after i change the LCD everything would be fine, since i have void the warranty, but if you still have your warranty, claim it, maybe you can get a clean new phone :good:

ya today i gave it in sony service center....letz wait 4 da results..representative told me that the screen may b broken...he said he l inform me wether it cums under warrenty or not...

i am also facing the same problem on my xperia mini st15i.... i thought it was my sd card problem, i changed my sd and bought new class 10 but sometime it creates and i have to face this problem ...... i dont know how to fix this problem....??

i gave it in snoy service center...he sent the phone to get replaced...he said me that it will take 10-15 wroking dayz n ur phone l b replaced....if u have warrenty just get it replaced....
Claim warrenty if u hav....

I also have the same problem but i fixed it. The problem is in the software itself and not the LCD Screen. I observed something At first when you install the software it works fine, but after you charge it on the first time, the problem occurs. I was using Real ICS r6 and also i have this problem in my xperia mini pro but i observed that the problem was in the software. the developer himself did something wrong he replaced the mini pro system with lww so i corrected it and it worked for me. so if you are using a custom rom, just contact the developer to fix it for you. HOPE I helped you.

I have an issue with moto e(every thing is fine except this)
When I keep moto e on charging my touch doesn't respond well as it does while not charging, the up and down swiping in contacts and browsers doesn't work smoothly(it stops as soon as is remove my finger after swiping)
I have tested using different chargers and different input ports but couldn't resolve
Yup..have faced it sometimes.. This problem exists AFAIK..
But the weird thing is that it doesn't happen always...only sometimes.. Wonder why !
Any way not a major issue I guess..sometimes a reboot fixes it.

But yea, i sometimes experience that problem when i connect my moto e to pc via usb...
But that too happened with me only once...
Try replacing your moto e with new one.. Contact flipkart... I think they will replace it...
But I have rooted it and boot loader unlocked
I have not rooted nor unlocked the boot loader... I had this problem during initial periods but not anymore...or rarely I experience it..

I always have to apply a little pressure when swiping from the side of the screen
When in the Play Store, swiping from right doesn't always work.
Does this happen to any of you?
Ya..u won't have a problem replacing it.. U can go ahead and replace it if u want...
But I think its not a major issue..try rebooting the phone and plug it to charger again.. Again its ur wish.

And I also have little crack like on right lower bottom which is not visible unless concentrated though., and I thought that the touch problem is with all pieces so at least hoping that the replaced piece would be perfect

I am have used RR rom with dark kernel by movez for few days it have charged b/w 1600-1900 amp but the next day it does charge b/w 400-500amps..
I thought it was kernel fault then flashed viper OS but same result
Then flashed Xiaomi.eu and epic rom then same result charging speed is between 500-800 amps...
Then flashed fastboot rom charging speed does not charge more than 1000 amps
Should I need to change charger and cable ,can I buy another stock cable and use ,!! Does it solve the problem ??

Which method you are using to measure current ? Probably usb port on your phone/charging cable has rust accumulated or phone's USB port is faulty. Try cleaning it and check with different cable/charger. If still problem, change usb port on phone.

My charger and cable perfectly works with my Galaxy j7 and charges faster
But will try to buy new charger
