Hello guys. I'm facing problem that want to change kernel on liquid smooth 4.2.2 RC2 but whenever i flashed kernel it stuck on boot. I'm flashing siyah kernel 1.8.9. Please provide me help so that i can change the another kernel. Thanx

Siyah will not work on the later 4.2.2 versions so no dual boot available.
Temaseks kernel should work though.
Have a look at the Siyah thread...

Where's Temaseks kernel thread for download. Is there any more kernel compatible with 4.2.2?

Hey can you guys tell me where to download liquid rc 2 ?? I've tried looking for it but can only ever find rc1 and I got a boot loop when I tried to use temaseks kernel on that probably cause of the updated Mali drivers or something.

Simply amazing what search can do.
Thank you for the help... I just did not know which kernel would be the best from pershoot.... I know that his latest kernel is for ics only and that kernel is not stable..... I just did not want to flash an unstable kernel..... Again thank you for the help....

That kernel is stable but the last kernel for hc 32 was Jan 9.
aokp 37 and pershoot kernel 2505
I'm running AOKP 37 and Pershoot's latest kernel (2505) and I'm pretty happy. No buggs or reboots. I'm not using flash as some guys reported to have the freezing screen when using it.

MM CM 7.2
I can´t get this to work. I have tryed X10_2.3.3_DooMKernel-v06-1113-BootManager-v2.0.ftf and it boots the ROM and is very fast. But the WIFI doesnt work. I have tried the original thread WIFI modules and the Doom Kernel WIFI modules but nothing seems to work. Can somebody please help me?

Yes I've tried. But I keep geting stuck at the Kernel boot screen, and so I am not able to install the ROM.

I'm on this rom right now and did everything today like in the instructions and I did it thru xrecovery and not by CWM.

Get the original kernel from nAa's topic and flash 0507 build. It'll do the job.
Have you flashed Mike's last build & 16/5 kernel? Works great for me, no problems at all.

The siyah kernel does not come with an updated mali driver and thus you cannot use a CM10.2 (android 4.3)based roms on it.Thus you can dualboot or even if u install the kernel on an CM10.2 based roms then you will get stuck on a bootloop thus u cant use siyah kernel but you can use Googy-Max kernel as that is the only kernel for s3 that is compatible with rom running android 4.3 and u can dualboot. In simple words Googy-Max kernel is an advanced version of siyah kernel an it is compatible with stweaks !

first flash a kikat kernel any one will do, once flashed while in same recovery session reboot recovery. now that your in the new recovery flash that rom and it should go through wit out any hiccups. of course proper wiping is always a must. let me know if you need some more help.

honestly i cant really say what kernel i think is best, what works for me may not work for you. if i had to choose I'd recommend semaphore, neat, and neo kernel. before i forget semaphore and neo are out dated but they still work great as for neat its the most up to date between the three.

dude try semaphore kk3.4.3 its freakin awesome.... I'm on slimkat 7.6 have some issues lags on incoming call..... remaining everything is smooth n fine..... go for that 6.6 buikd its a stable 1... heard slimkat is going to be updated within 3 days for vibrant hope it happens to b a stable 1
I'm on Neat because it provides 417mb Ram. I believe that's the only kernel that provides that much ram, is that right? I need as much ram as I can get lol
