Themes for steves 1.5.0 & 1.4.6 incl batt%, icons, status/notif & window animations
My Modaco thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/d...-status-notif-window-animations/#entry1505455
~~~THEY ALSO WORK WITH 1.5.0 (PHEW!!)~~~
Includes icons, colour % battery icon, full status bar, full notifications menu and window animation.
All have been tried and tested! Hope you like them... any feeback would be great, requests are welcome (please state the battery icon style/colour, theme colour/style, preferred icons & which window animation)
You need to be on dj_steves v1.4.6
(it may work with other versions but I have only tested the current 1.4.6, post a request if you have a different build and i will do my best to help )
It will not work if you are using themekika!
~~~HOW-TO~~~
***FIRST OF ALL CLEAR DALVIK CACHE VIA ADVANCED OPTIONS IN CLOCKWORKMOD OR STREAKMOD*** (this is necessary for the window animations to work properly)
1. back-up not necessary (all data is preserved and re-flash 1.4.6 restores perfectly)
2. Copy/move .zip to the root of your SD card (no need to re-name)
3. Power off and into recovery (hold volume up/down + power)
4. Option 2 install from sd... wait for clockworkmod to load
5. Select install .zip from SD then pick from SD manually.
6. Reboot once install has completed (may take 2-5 mins)
7. Enjoy
(if you dont like it, simply flash 1.4.6 again, all will be as it was)
After various tests... It seems with each of my themes you can simply flash from one to the other via clockworkmod, i have all of the on my sd and can swap whenever! (please report back if this does not work for you)

Unfortunately I can't change the black text. In brief, the rom is set to white status and black text, I use UTO kitchen to cook and it only lets me change the bar colour not text. I don't fancy messing with major changes myself so the best I could do was to make it slightly transparent and lighter. I will be cooking some more today
Considering its android... Im SO surprised its so difficult to tweak basic stuff like colors. Why do you think dell did that...?

i dont think it would be that difficult for someone that knows how to do it, its not something you could simply read a quick how to guide though... i just enjoy tweaking not full blown re-structuring code or scripts

Its not that hard to do but not many people seem to be having much luck, that's why I thought it would be a nice idea to make some for people to easily install keep checking for new ones, you might fancy a change soon

Hi Tina,
Any tips on trying to make a blacktaskbar with coloured icons and a coloured battery with percentage?? I can change the text colour to white. But I am unsure on using the kitchen, as it seems trying to cook a blacktaskbar is difficult?
ie can we use icons for blackstatus bar (ie with white text) and does the select taskbar colour section actually work?
(I assume that you use the 1.4.6 framework-res.apk file).
FLIPPING CLOCK FOR WILDFIRE -- Taken from SFM 1.1--
This is a bug free Sense clock (Flipclock) for the wildfire taken from the SFM 1.1 ROM.The clock behaves as the normal HTC clock(Tapping either takes you to Desk clock app or weather app) but has added FLIPPING animation .I have used it for a few hours and havent noticed any bugs.All credits to evilisto and someone else's zip file( i didn't know how to sign or whatever them).Brickbats are for me.
To be performed at your own risk.
This requires a rooted wildfire with recovery(i used CWM 2.5.0.7) and any SENSE rom
(I havent tried it on any other rom)
Please follow the instruction or u MAY have a TINY problem.
1.Make a nandroid backup
2.The previous HTC sense flipclock (only the big(4x2) thing with white squares on which Time is diplayed in black) widget should be somewhere on ur homescreens and preferably there should be an empty row beneath it.(U'll later learn y)
3.Put attached Sense21clock.zip onto sdcard root
4.Reboot into recovery and use " Install zip from sdcard" and select the file and confirm.Reboot Device.
5. Voila.U are done.Enjoy The SENSuous flipping animation when u unlock the phone and when u patiently wait for each minute to pass.
This has a problem though. U can no longer see the clock in ur widgets list.But since u already have it, that shouldn't be a problem) .Also the empty row of icons was required because the clock becomes 4x3 now, But it displays date, day, time, weather and location.
if u ever want to revert back the clock u will have to reflash the older OLDSenseclock.zip
Tested on DK Froyo 4.5.1 . Animation may be a bit jittery at stock speeds(528 Mhz)(esp after unlocking device) or that may be just me.Excuse the SMS language inputs.
For those with strange weather animations
(i mean like those in post number 7's attachments)
solved by patrask-Freeze HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk with Titanium Backup or
0.Make nandroid backup
1.Ensure u have a file HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk in ur system\apps directory (Use root explorer or something)
2.Remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk by following instructions from this link
http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily
3.Reboot.It might take a while to reboot so take a coffee break.
This will not work on non-sense based ROMS.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
tested it and yes you are right that there's a bit of excess lines at the center of each number when you've restored it from the locked screen. There's a similar one that I've been using which was taken from desireHD and ported it over the WF.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960189
The problem with it is that the weather is cropped beneath the City and the Date but you can remove it and place it again as a widget.
Thanks anyway.
@rrbhootham
thanks very much! Its great
Could you try to port the sfm 1.1 lockscreen(sense 3.0) for our sense roms? Just flashing the htclockscreen.apk doesnt work...

That weather thing is why i didn't prefer that clock.It looked a bit unpolished.
Nice clock. It works pretty good, but there is a problem with the weather animation (see the pictures below). It seems that the weather graphics are missing. Is there anyway to embed them, or at least a way to disable the weather animation?

Did u change any opengl files of ur phone?Any live wallpaper fixes?That could be one of the reasons.And by the way weather animations are not supposed to work on the wildfire(AFAIK without any 3rd party stuff).What rom are u using?What weather is that bug for?

Hi rrbhootham,
I'have JockerDroid 4.2 and I installed the WildPuzzle Original Framework in order to restore the original framework since I didn't like some customizations made by the JockerDroid ROM.
Most probablly the wheater animation problem is caused by that patch. I'll try reflasching the ROM to check if the problem persist.
Anyway it would be interesting if someone else is having the weather animation working properly.
Please, check the video in the attachement for another demonstration of the weather error.
Marshall
Im also having weather animation problems, if someone had figured out a way how to fix it, please respond as soon as possible
Thanks in advance...

Hello Marshall,
I was googling around and i found this http://androidforums.com/eris-all-t...g-weather-animation-issues-w-latest-leak.html . The thread says this might be due to any graphics fixes. If u check JokerDroid 4.2's changelog there are graphics fixes mentioned, and that might be for the transparency of the menus and stuff and i believe this messes the transparency of the older weather animations.it might not have anything to do with the framework pack. i'll keep looking into this.

EDIT:
I found this thread http://geekfor.me/hero/fixes/rosie-lwp-fix-opengl/ where they're talking about OpenGL fix which is used to enable Livewallpapers but introduces the weather animation bug.
In the thread there is also a patch to revert back to the old OpenGL but I'm not sure if it will work for our Wildfire since it is for the Eris.
As soon as I can I'll try that patch (after a nandroid backup, of course) too see if it works...

Hello Marshall,
That might break ur JokerDroid Rom so i recommend u remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk from ur phone's system\app directory with adb.U can follow this link for details http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily . After that weather animation will no longer work(properly or improperly).

yes that worked as well cool nice 1
I have questions.
Did you add an 0 before the 1 digit hours? like 9:07 -> 09:07 or 3:15 -> 03:15
Sometimes I come across a Clock bug on stock Froyo. The date and weather info is on the lower right of the widget by default but sometimes it comes to lower center. Did something like this happened?
Another bug with original Clock is when you remove the widget sometimes the transparent base stays on the home. Did this happened too?
That's all. Thx in advance.

PD: I think that your SE Launcher (modified, without the corners) is better than the ICS Launcher.

Hello! This is a bunch of tweaks I created to make Samsung devices better by modding the interface to really polish it. Enjoy!
Installation
Installing is simple. Navigate to the play store and download the required packages.
Substratum
Substratum Required Addon For Samsung
Samsung System Mods via Playstore (RECOMMENDED)
Samsung System Mods Direct APK (BACKUP)
Tips
- A reboot is usually required to apply the tweak.
- Some tweaks are incompatible on some devices.
- Oreo is in beta (until I get it)
- The nav bar heights are broken on the note and oreo. I can't fix it. Sorry.
- I can do requests. All I ask is you consider donating.
- You can hide status bar icons. You must use another APK: SystemUI Tuner (from the play store)
More mods are coming! Please leave suggestions for more mods you want so I can try and make them. I've been getting lots of positive feedback. Also, Tigerhoods, Pimpmaneaton, Venom, and Crayonyes have been helping me a bit, so big thanks to them .

I would like to do that too but I have yet to figure it how
The ability to remove time/date from lock screen
The ability to remove shortcuts, time/date, and unlock text from lockscreen
Either of which within your power?
This is probably beyond the scope of this project and doesn't seem to be any real answer. I've tried substratum clean lock and it doesn't work fully on samsung. Would be awesome if this is some magic you could work
If not, no worries. What you've got going on here is quite nice and much appreciated!

I'm aware what's in post one. Apparently, my wording was really bad lol. This was more or less a request to make 1 mod to remove time/date, and if it's possible to do that, then perhaps 1 mod to incorporate them all together as one mod - just to avoid having to download and install multiple mods.
However, I honestly hadn't seen the options to turn off shortcuts on the lock screen. So thanks for that!

Will take a go at it, see if I can change the clock dimens instead of the color. If I can't get it to work, I'd be totally happy to add your APK to the OP and assign full credit for it if you want.
And if you're interested, maybe we could discuss more modding over Telegram. PM me if you are interested

As much as I'd love to take credit that came from someone else, although I have been modifying existing overlay apks pretty extensively, and I could use some motivation to setup Android studio and do this right
Flash in magisk manager
The developer of Active edge sense gave me permission to use his base so that people would not have to make a choice between his and my mods. All credit for this goes to him. You must delete the active edge sense module and use one of my active edge modules. If it doesn't say active edge then it isn't active edge sense compatible. If there is an issue with edge sense after flashing, do not contact edge sense op with issues. He does not troubleshoot modified versions of his mod (and neither do I).
Statusbar Notification Icon increase to 7 mod is baked into these mods.

Hi, for these should we remove the Active Edge module in Magisk first? Then reboot, flash in Magisk Manager? and will these work on Pie? I'm on Pie August 1, 2019 Security Patch. Pixel 2xl.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for creating these. I was able to flash the nav button swap without issue and it worked, but then I saw you had a combo center clock/nav bar swap, so I uninstalled the first one, rebooted, then installed the combo one, and rebooted. However, neither the buttons are swapped nor is the clock in the center. I also tried to flash just the center clock mod, but that un-did the nav button swap. Any ideas, sir?
Also (and I am sorry for referencing another thread of yours here) but can you tell me which components of your PixelLauncherModsAndroid10Pixel2XL .zip are flashed via adb vs. recovery vs. Magisk? The main think I am looking for is the removal of the Google Search Bar, but I am just confused about the instructions given here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80195277&postcount=4
Thanks so much for all you do!

For pixel Launcher mod go here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/themes/android-p-various-mods-aroma-installer-t3777787
If removal of search is all you want, choose one of the no-search bases (I recommend starting with medium) flash it first then flash complete installation zip, then reboot. All using TWRP.
Make sure all my other mods have been deleted (not counting pixel Launcher or accent mods). Then flash center clock swap.

Thanks so much for the guidance, sir. I did all of that and it went without issue. However, I also flashed the "Remove Weather App" and while that worked, it seems that I am unable to reclaim/use the space where that app was.
Thanks again for your time. Your ZIP files make it nice and easy to make this phone more our own.

No, you can't reclaim that area.
The home screen will match whatever you choose for the app folder....icon size and columns.

Good copy on all, sir. Thank you very much.
EDIT: @Tulsadiver - I went back and flashed 7Row7Hotspot0Dip.zip and then flashed CompleteInstalltion, but upon reboot Pixel Launcher is force-closing over and over? I reflashed the BaseNOGoogleSearchMedium and everything was fine upon reboot, but I think I am doing something out of order when trying to change to the different app drawer size/remove labels.

You have to flash a base (and everything else) over, every time.

Yes, sir. I figured that was the way so I just went and did that - base, then app drawer sizes, then complete installation, but am still getting force close for launcher on reboot. If I just flash base, no weather app, then complete installation I am good to go, but the app drawer sizes are still causing the force close :-\

Sorry, my pixel 2 was on Android 11.
I went back to 10, downloaded the zip file, flashed no search medium base, no weather, app drawer 7hot7column40dip icons and it booted fine.
Thanks for the March update @Tulsadiver . Working great :good:

Edge sense versions need updated as the op for that mod did some fixes for both pixel 2 phones. Everything else should be fine.

Thanks for the info. I'm not using any of the Edge Sense versions. Center Clock works great. However, when I tried to flash the Battery Percent Only mod (Non-Edge Sense) it didn't work although it did show up as a Magisk Module. I noticed the file name was battgoneedge, the same as the Edge Sense version (but with different MD5s). Could there have been a mix up with the files or am I missing something on my end?

These are stand-alone mods. You can't flash several. If you want more than one, use the zip installer mod.
