Hello,
i have the P768 with the 8MP camera. On the phone was installed ICS 4.0.4 and i upgraded to JB 4.1.2 V20B from the follow side.
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?mod=Lg+Optimus+L9&paese=DEU/GERMANY&id_mod=18
Is that also the reason why the camera does not work anymore? Under the applications, the camera has a size of 0kb.
Have I flashed the wrong firmware? Everything else works fine. Under phone info is now also P760. But under the battery is P768.
Thanks in advance.

hi friends i recently purchased lg l9 p765 from india btw. waiting for update JB
my question is can i use other country rom on my mobile..is rooting required for this...
and whats the review on official JB firmware update what are the improvments, pros and cons...

As far as i know all p760 roms are flashable on p765, so yes u can flash other countries rom, but its better to have your own country's baseband to avoid network errors. Check these threads for reviews of JB

Hello everyone!
I'm from Chile and I want to know if there's an international rom for the P768G 4.1.2 that you would recommend. I'm tired of asking "When you are going to release the JB update for my L9?" without an answer. The newest roms with JB have that battery drain issue?. I want to keep with stock roms just for the warranty.
Thanks in advance!

If you want to stick to stock and keep your warranty it limits the ROMs to choose from greatly.
There is official JB for the P768 in other regions: look here or here
Once you have downloaded the file, follow this guide by cmahendra to update your firmware.

Thanks for the answer!... Is any of those roms (the ones in this site an international ROM? (just to minimize the bloatware that comes with the operator's roms)... and is the battery drain issue solved?
Cheers.

I don't know if there is an international version... Maybe look for the version that is the smallest size as it will contain the least bloatware - and even then you can root and then uninstall operator apps manually using titanium backup.
I was on the South African V20A for a while and did not experience the battery drain issue at all.
Remember that V20X is JB and V10X is ICS.
