hi guys, This post is for newbies, read this to prevent bricked phone...
tip1. download the rom and kernel for your device
robyn= x10mini
Mimmi= x10minipro
shakira= x8
if your phone is x10 mini select the rom does have robyn name ex. minicm10-4.1.0-ROBYN.zip
remember: all names in the previous post that is the codename of your phone..
e10= x10 mini
u20= x10 mini pro
when u flash kernel memorize e10 is for x10mini and u20 is for x10 mini pro.. go to the flashtool/firmware remove x10blrelock.ftf if im correct so you did not flash that because that is for x10i not for x10mini and pro thats it memorize this post before u flash any rom and kernel

Step by step but when i try to get into xRecovery mode, it just reboots normally...
Is this only for x10 mini? Does it not support x10 mini pro? please help
this is not the proper forum.. this forum is solely for the x10 (not x10 mini). Try the proper forum as they would know more than we would in regards to your model phone

Make sure you are installing the correct ROM, this forum is for xperia mini pro, not the x10 mini pro.

hi, is it possible to simply flash the rom of ST15 (xperia mini) to E10i (xperia x10 mini) ? for example flashing "Xperia Mini (ST15i)_4.0.2.A.0.42_CE.ftf " with flashtool on an E10i
what are the odds?
Odds on 100 to 1 it will fail and fail hard.
As far as I'm aware the ST15i is an Arm v7 device, and the E10i is an Arm v6 device.
The ST15i ROM will try to execute instructions that don't exist on the E10i.
(And then i'm not even talking about all the other hardware that is different in both devices)

Well...flashing that ftf will be like saying that you will flash another computer's BIOS into yours which is not the same and also trying to install a x64 os on a non-x64 supporting system.
If you want to have the looks and feautures of ST15 on your E10 you can try Achotjan's SEMC Debrand ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504633
Hope I helped you.
thanks alot
Hello XDA, I am a newbie about ROM's, flashing, rooting and other stuff about phones.
A few days ago I rooted my Xperia X10 mini (E10i) with DooMLorD toolkit. Then I unlocked my bootloader.
After that I flashed nAa gingerbread kernel. After that my phone booted into recovery, and installed a custom ROM, but I didn't read the tutorial
carefully ... I flashed a Xperia X10 Mini Pro ROM.
The phone looks fine, the ROM works quite well ...
But is it safe to keep the ROM?
They are same. In x10 mini pro ROM there are files into system for hard keyboard nothing more I think but lets someone more into this answer you too
It is safe to keep the ROM.
