Screw you. @OP If you're on mySENSE, you can remove the htc car app, locations navigation and DownloadProviderUi.apk. That's what I tried....

Remove the apps you don't need like tuneinradio and teetr, adobe reader & chrome (tons more)
Someone should start a thread stating a complete list of apps safe to remove (like cyanogenmod barebones)

Thanks that got me started in the right direction. It referenced this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090127&highlight=ext4+formatter&page=7
and specifically this post...
So this has become my new default method for flashing ROMs:
1. Create a clean Nandroid Backup (with wiped cache and Dalvik, possibly voltage)
2. Run this awesome utility Thanks, navenedrob! Very cool.
3. Flash the new ROM in CWM
4. Flash new Kernel if needed (before allowing ROM to boot) in CWM
5. Allow ROM to boot
6. Nandroid Advanced Restore (Data only)
The only issue I seem to have is the need to update/install Gmail. Then all is smooth.

Installation Instructions:-
1. Place ROM zip in sd card.
2. Enter CMW.
3. Perform the followng operations :-
* Wipe Data/Factory reset >> yes
* Wipe cache partition >> yes
* Advanced >> Wipe dalvik cache >>yes
* Mounts and storage >> Format System >> yes
4. Now select ' Install zip from sd card ' >> choose zip from sd card>> select the rom zip.
5. Go through AROMA.
6. Boot to homescreen. ( Expect everything to be blank )
7. Reboot once again to homescreen.
8. Done....
9. Install upgrade package (IMPORTANT)
FAQ's :-
1. I get a blank screen after install?
> As stated above, reboot once again.
2. What is existing install option in AROMA?
> To put simply, It allows user to change preferences such as launcher, status bar, boot animation, UI sounds etc. without installing whole ROM again. Thus, ROM gives you flexibility.
3. ROM weighs 250 MB. Why the hell would anyone want to carry it for just customizing?
> Good question. Just delete whole system folder from zip. It will reduce size by >170 MB.
4. ROM sometimes lags or eats battery faster than GB?
> It's ICS. Revert to GB or get a dual core.
5. I don't get walkman widgets on nova ?
> Widgets only support stock launchers.
6. I encounter some problems after doing existing install?
> Try doing it again with factory reset in CMW.
7. Can I install it over v2.1?
> Since v3 has a quite big changelog, therefore I recommend to flash v3 after doing all wipes.
9. SystemUIPreferences stop working in when 3rd option is checked in Serene bar?
> Don't worry. Go to quick panel option in settings and uncheck all toggles. This should fix it.
10. I get walkman light option on a non LWW device?
> Sorry, but I can't make different Settings for each device. It's rather time consuming. And I think one can probably live with that.
11. After flashing upgrade with small apps, my previous status bar gets replaced?
>Use existing install option in aroma to get your status bar back. You have to compromise with small apps though.
12 ROM becomes laggy gradually and eats more CPU power and battery?
>This primarily happens due to kernel not ROM. Please use kernel based on latest .587 source not .431
13. I get status 0 error after install?
>ROM is successfully installed. Just reboot.
14. There are some other bugs too?
>Check bugs and fixes section.

Thanks, and androidfilehost is ok as well.
MD
I have update first post with a new link to mega. Hopefully it does work. Enjoy!
New build is up with the new cm12 theme engine. This means that the standard look with lollipop is back. So if you like the dark design, you should stick with 01/15 version. Hopefully they will implement the dark design (which I personally prefer) pretty soon, or a good dark theme is released. Enjoy!

Thanks for the great work. I recently decided that I had enough of stock ROM, didn't use the extra LG features and tablet became a bit sluggish and running out of disk space due to poor filesystem management I guess.
So, after reading about all the bugs with CM12, I installed LiquidSmooth (I remembered how much fun I had with the ROM in my Samsung SIII days). So far ROM is super stable, extra features are amazing, and it just looks pretty. The only thing I noticed is some lag in the animations, but that could be the tablet itself, although, the switch to CM theme engine could mean that this is how they are trying to address that issue.
All in all, I am looking forward to the updates...

Just remembered, when I was doing initial install, I could not get gapps installed. The package was too big and not enough room in the /system apparently. So I found the tiniest package I could find to get me going. Did anyone else have similar problem? Is there a way to increase the partitions during install or at all?
I will test it

That is weird. I use PA gapps micro, which is about 170mb big. And the ROM itself isn't any bigger than other lollipop ROMs out there.
Which package was you trying to install?

I tried regular size one first 400mb something.
Anyway, after a bit of testing noticed that casting doesn't work at all. It works fine from the Chromecast app but from the notification panel. Can't even see my Chromecast. Will try the new build and report back. I hope it's just as stable.

Okey. I don't think that chromecast from notification panel are working on any lollipop builds at the moment. At least not on our g pad.
Yay it boots! ?
Seems to be running fine.
Next build should be faster and overall better performance and battery life. It will be compiled with sabermod 4.8.4.
@slebit: could you add the advanced reboot option under developper ? (reboot/soft reboot/recovery/bootloader).. not sure if it's easy to add this feature...
can't wait for your next built.. keep up the good work!

Thanks for building this, although I have yet to try it.
Is this built on a 4.2.2. base or a 4.4.2, just asking to avoid brightness issues.
Also is it compatible with either of the two available custom kernels, if people wanted to use them...?

This is based on 4.2.2. Some people have problems with brightness if they use 4.4.2 based kernel with 4.2.2. I have actually never had any problems myself. But I guess some people might have.
The two compatible kernels will work, but might have some problems with brightness if you use 4.2.2 base. So if you would like to run one of these kernel, I would suggest that you use 4.4.2 base.

FAQ:
Q: Is this Android 5.X, 6.X, 7,X or 12.X??
A: No, it is based on Kit Kat (4.4.4) as the stock ROM.
Q: Why Android Kit Kat?
A: First of all because is the stock rom. Also i still need work to do in order to bring some newer Android version, which is being quite hard.
Q: Can you implement X, Y or Z feature, mod or app?
A: Features cannot be implemented as EMUI is closed source, and i doubt about implement mods and/or apps as i prefer to keep the ROMs as simple as possible.
Q: Does it have any bug?:
A: It is based on the stock ROMs, so in terms of bugs there is no difference and i didn't notice any other one with the custom implementations it has.
Installation Instructions:
- Download the latest build for your device (T1-A21L or T1-A21W).
- Take a nandroid bakcup (Hightly recommended).
- Wipe System, Data, Cache & Dalvik cache.
- Flash ROM.
- Reboot.

I just have published it. It was ready a long time ago but i did not receive any reply from the people who was supposed to test it, that is why i did not publish it all this time.
The rom should work without problems but make a backup of your actual rom and EFS just in case, and please let me back if everything is ok.
I will this weekend, Thanks.
No Root Access When SuperSU set to "PROMPT"
@mustang_ssc
I've been running EMUI 3.0 Light for a couple of days now with no major issues. There are a couple of bugs that I noticed, but I'm not sure if it's the ROM or just my device. I can give you more details later.
However I am running into one issue I've never seen before that is a little odd. When I flashed your ROM, I found it to be a good time to ditch the KingRoot manager for the SuperSU. I've got SuperSU up and running, but I can't seem to get it to prompt me for root access with individual apps. I have root access if I set default answer to GRANT, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a root manager... Any tips on why it's doing this?
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks a lot for the feedback, glad to know it is working fine .
The bug with SuperSU no working is a known issue, it is mentioned on the OP (i have clarified a bit more). You just need to go to the app and enable "Allow" on "default access". No idea why it happens, probably it is related to compatibility issues with EMUI systems, i tried different versions and unfortunately they had the same issue.
Anyway, with the workaround you can get it to work.
You can mention to me the other bugs (in case they are bugs) you had in order to know if i can do something, though i will be more focused on other roms such as CarbonROM (kit kat) which i will publish this weekend, but unfortunately it still has a couple of critical bugs like the camera not functional.

1- I guess you installed it on the LTE model device, right?
2- Which steps did you take in order to install the rom?
3- What partitions did you wipe when you installed it?
4- Did you checked the md5 in order to see if you had a corrupted download? (Guide: What is MD5 and how to use it to verify your download)
5- Did you install any mod?
6- What is the behavior of the device after installing the rom: it reboots all the time, does not reboot, it loads the ROM logo or only the kernel one? A logcat about this could be useful.
Not saying you have to provide me all that information, though would be much better, but i am saying that when reporting something not working you'll need to provide more information
By the way, for those who were waiting for the CarbonROM KK:
Sorry for the delay, i was quite busy and i realized i lost all the ROMs when i was formating my hard drive in order to fix the pc. I am porting it again, which is not a big deal, so i hope to have it ready for today.
I will keep you informed.

Did you performed the necessary wipes on recovery? Are you sure you're installing the lte variant on the t1-a21l? People with the lte variant previously reported the rom works perfectly.

- Reboot.
- Enjoy!
