clock lockscreen - AT&T LG Optimus G

Is there a clock lock screen you can set for the nightime, that way if you have it on a stand you can see the time

Clock JB has a night time mode. Turning that on will display a clock that moves randomly across the screen.

Is it ok to leave the alarm clock app+screen on all night?

2.2 has a much improved alarm clock. I know that the screen eventually blackens and shows a clock which moves every now and then.
I was wondering if its safe to leave the screen on all night? or would it kill/decrease the life of the LCD?
I do i fall asleep many of times with the screen on or music playing

[Q] Vertical slider on stock lockscreen, Froyo 2.2

Yesterday I was watching a movie I think I was lying down over my phone, must have pressed something. When I grabbed it the slider on the lock screen had changed, It was in a vertical orientation now, I had to slide down to unlock and slide up to set to vibrate, and all of this while in portrait mode. I dont know how this happened and I would love to know.
My device is a Huawei UM840 (Which is very similar to the U8500 which you can see the complete features HERE
Thanks!

[Q] Lock Screen Clock Lag

New to XDA, Hello All!
I saw this on the Samsung Galaxy S 4 i9500 Q/A thread, but I'm seeing it on the Verizon version, so I thought I would post here.
Here is the original thread:
I am seeing a lag in the clock on the lock screen. It doesn't matter if I use a custom lock screen (widget locker) or the Samsung lock screen. I don't have a password on my phone I am using "swipe to unlock".
It's easily reproducible, I let phone sit for 10-15 min, and if you press the unlock button you'll see the wrong time for anywhere from a fraction of a second to a few seconds! and then it will update to correct time. I find it super annoying if I just want to know the time.
I've found that the amount the clock lags is proportionate to the amount of time the phone as been idle.
I've seen the clock over an hour off, but it doesn't seem to drift much more than that (or maybe I don't leave it idle long enough).
I feel like the lock screen clock should be a very light background task. What is confusing to me is the tiny clock in the top right is correct, so the phone is monitoring the clock...it's just not updating the larger clock on the lock screen.
Any thoughts?
The phone downclocks the cores to save battery....when system is idle the phone will bump down to something like 400mhz....its a pro and a con at the same time. Over time these kinks will be ironed out....lag...bugs...etc. The phone is 1 week old on Verizon...im confident things will work out.

That blank black screen with just the big clock and edge notifics as night clock?

Hey
So there is this screen that's only visible of you got edge-notifications from your select contacts.
It's something like a pitch-black screen with just a big digital clock on the top left and the notification to pull in.
Is it possible to get this as a night clock or even have it shown all the time and this being the "off-state" of the screen?
Thx for checking

LG G2 developing major malfuction

Hello all, I am currently researching some new phone as my Lg G2 is failing. I thought I would explain the issue though incase its something that could be fixed. The issue started the other day when my phone kept activating in my pocket even with screen lock on. When I try to use my phone the screen would randomly change to a clock face with a small lock symbol in the bottom right of the clock . This clock would be on the top of the screen and the screen would only respond to touch inside the clock image. It would not unlock when swiping. Also while this clock is on my screen if I received a incomming call the clock would be replace with the normal accept or decline screen while shrunk in this small box the clock occupied. It would let me swipe accept call and talk.
I could not google this issue, anyone seen this before?
Thanks.
Wanted to add, I also reset phone back to factory settings and it didnt fix it.
