Whenever I try to ADB Push a file or directory, all I get in return is the adb help guide
for example
Code:
C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools>adb push C:\Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes /mnt/sdcard/
I get the adb help guide
Anyone help me in doing this, maybe i'll learn something new. I understand it's a very noob question. but im just starting to get a hang of it.
Hi guys! I'm working on a program in VB.NET which involves pushing files to phones. I know how to execute the commands from inside my program, but I'm struggling with the output. I can't get the output from adb. By output I mean the result of the function, for example, some error message or success message. Anybody knows how to get the output from adb and/or store it in a .txt file? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Anyone????
Hi,
can you help me where I can get adb driver for my tablet? I find something similar and my tablet is shown in devices manager like Thrive Tablet, is this right? When I use adb devices in cmd.exe adb services set on but no devices is found.
And Why I need adb is that I try to change Nand flash (in tablet this is like SDcard1) for my external SDcard (in talbet SDcard2). Because no games can be installed on my external sd card. I heard something about vold.fstab and someone on other forum tried change this file but tablet no start after that. Now he want some adb shell something.. so I need correct driver for my tablet..
Thx for any help,
best regards,
Jakub K.
So, I was wondering if it was possible to root the S4 with ADB and OSX? I downloaded all the files from open1your1eyes0's guide, accept for Oden and the USB drivers. Would I just use the adb shell + adb push command? If so, where would I push them to? All the files are in the Android folder I created so I don't have to type the full path every time, Or would I use the Flash command?
I could use Windows, but I try to avoid as much as possible, just a personal preference. If someone could write the whole code out for me, I'll buy you a beer. LOL. :laugh:Seriously though, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!
