Hello LG L9 forums!
I made a little hotfix package for all 4.2.2 roms!
What it does:
-Fixes all the audio issues related to headphones volume, echo while talking etc. (switched to stock audio hals)
-Fixed NFC bug - now you can disable it without problems
-Disabled 1080p in camera until fixed in kernel tree.
I will get my AOSP 4.2.2 to run on my new device so I could focus on fixing other issues.

Is this patch working really? Are Speakers loud enough at least like Stock?
When I flashed CM10.1 (21Mar) I found very low volume in all three (BT Headset, VoiceCall and Speakers) without patch
Yes they are like on stock rom.

Can we add USB otg with just a module? Doesn't it requires a different hardware?
It would be amazing

It requires a kernel mod and a external powered USB hub.
BLN and BLD would be great too, but it's not very important (Phone call's echo is soooo bad).
I tried in AOKP and it gave me a problem: the phone was no longer able to reach 3g or edge connection

Does this fix the app lag? Do you have a link?
What is the most stable and fastest Galaxy 5 mod that's in use?
(Late to the game, but I should be receiving mine next week and can't wait to dig in).
Thanks for any advice the community can offer.
CM10.1 works most of the time smoothly and many apps are working lagfree.
The fastest mod is latest cm7.

PS: It works better with Apex Launcher or any other LIGHTWEIGHT launcher but try to don't using Trebuchet(Stock) Launcher
Click thanks if I helped you.
Your right XdaNood98, use something other, for example as said Apex launcher, but I use ADW.Launcher. It's your choise.

Lol I have the Galaxy 5 and the P350 as well... you can probably get a script to tweak the sound levels on the LG.

Jackpot didn't add the support for the si4709 drivers which is the fm radio chip one. This is why it's not working.

Just so you know, this problem is not limited to the yp-g70 on pacman, i\t also affects the yp-g1 on pacman, cyanogenmod, and aokp. I bet that the same applys to the yp-g70 variants of those roms as well.

FM radio do work with the YP-G1 on CM10 and pacman. Maybe you can't hear anything because digital audio is set instead of analog. The digital issue is fixed and you can listen to digital in PAC, CM will follow in the next preview build.

Hmm in spirit go to settings, audio, method = Galaxy S ALSA/ICS.
Im am interested in this as well I just updated to the latest PAC (6/24 build) and changed the settings to what you listed above zaclimon but I dont hear anything either weird.
Also zaclimon did you happen to purchase the full version of SpiritFM already if so I had a question is it possible you could test something for me? Does the record function work with our device?
Thanks

Hmm depends on if you have the 4.0 (seems so). And yes I have the full version and I do confirm that recording works. However it works only if you're on digital mode which I'm running. You should be able to listen if you have pac running to your 4.0. (don't forget your headphones plugged in)

You won't get audio working. As I've said on the second post, any devs of the 5.0 didn't added support for the fm radio drivers.

Just wanted to post for anyone else who may be trying to find this information as of this post SpiritFM (2013_8_12) works with the YP-G70 (5.0) if you use the option under Audio > Method then Galaxy SL/i9003 and FM radio should work. This has been tested so far with the 10.2 ROMS and Sultan Kernel.
Hope this helps

Sorry to quote you on a old thread but didnt want to start a new one. I noticed here that you were able to get the Digital audio work hence also the Recording function on the 4.0 did you have to do anything in addition than adding the Radio drivers in the kernel to make this work? Would like to try to get this working for the 5.0 if possible. Thanks again
Well I just needed to add this line to the init script:
mount debugfs /sys/kernel/debug /sys/kernel/debug
The reason for it is because Spirit searches for this component: /sys/kernel/debug/asoc/smdkc110/wm8994-samsung-codec.4-001a/codec_reg
If it can get it, it can decode digital fm, if not, you won't listen a thing. The problem with your device is you don't have the wm8994 codec so I don't know if it will ever work on your device.
Hope it helps!!

I was also able to get this working with the settings above, just an observation when I left the Audio -> Method at automatically it worked when using the speakers in the back but didn't for headphones. However setting the setting for Galaxy SL/i9003 allows both the speakers and the headphones to work on my U.S. device running the R6 sultan kernel.

what about gapps?
should i download which version? it doesn't come with it.
This is actually much more stable than any jb 4.1.2 rom released. There's however one EXTREMELY annoying bug which is present on ALL 4.1.2 releases for XU: after typing out the number you want to call and pressing the call button there's a LONG freeze period during which the call gets established (if the person on the other side answers) and other side can't hear you at all. Most of the times they hang up 'cause they think there's some problem with the network, and then it goes around in circles. You can easily play Plants vs Zombies with this rom unlike with aosp, cm or slim, so better than others for gaming. Messaging app is very nice. There are some Chinese letters in the upper left corner of the notification bar when you pull it down (not a big problem but I wish they were not there). Other than that, this rom is the best 4.1.2 release I have tried so far.
@raf.lozano, you need to flash the cm10 gapps (I flashed ultra slim ones).
keboard plz
can any one provide the keboard apk/flashable zip, gapps for this rom, thank u

On stock rom, we can double tap on screen for wake up.
Since i'm on CM10, i loose it.
Is there a way to have it or similar on this rom ?

Honestly, the lack of this feature is the only reason I'm still on stock.
Agree with you, but on my "old" galaxy s2 i use cm since years... So i was really happy to have it on XTZ.
Never mind, if someone have an answer !
I would like to join this question: I have flashed Cyanogenmode for my Tablet Z and so far the lack of the double tap ability is quite embarrassing
I'm still on stock + xposed framework for this reason. We need a kernel developer to implement the knock on features to cm kernel.

If you flash a kernel with stweaks support, like dorimanx for instance, you can boost mic volume in calls. Just flash the kernel, install stweaks, and in the 'sound' page you can choose the amplification to give to the mic in calls. Hope I helped
