Are you on Sense 4 ROM now? Even that required months of work, so Sense 5 can be ruled out

Didn't you get what he said... It is nearly impossible to get a bug less sense 5 port...

If you ain't happy with 4.0
I bet you won't be happy with 5.0 port simply cos it is bound to have bugs after all our device ain't a HTC device, right?
So Zack's efforts of 4.0 is not much appreciated anyhow, given the fact he didn't own a Neo or Neo V
So it's definitely not worth unless a willing dev whose hobby is that comes ahead! But that's hardly gonna happen

It's really a pity that only zack is working on it. After his sense 4 port I could see how crappy sony android customization is comparated to htc. I got 12 hours screen on battery on it, while i just get 8 hours with the same usage on sony's roms. I'm trying to learn about htc port, because i I just can't keep using any sony based rom after that.
ps: pretty sure most of bugs could be fixed by merging smali files in framework2.jar

OP in due time...in due time. And btw never say never, remember this is a Development Site, I have seen development happen that some said would not... Thanks

Just wait a week. Official MIUI based on ICS will be released for the Arc, and will likely be ported to the Neo too within another week.
Check out Zdunex25's thread in the Arc forum.
Yeah but how many more weeks z.z anyways thanx for the reply

Its not the end of the world.

We have mid-range phones and that's how it should be. We always will be one step behind the better phones. I'm really thankful for JB that came for us and now we'll taste a stable one.
More money, better phone, better support!
And this is sad, I know ..

really bad....
Actually it's not so bad We have 2011 xperia phones... Now it's 2012, near 2013 In 2013 i'm planing to buy Xperia V or if it happens Xperia Nexus
That's a shame, FXP is just focusing on 2012 devices, but 2012 devices still get official updates from sony, sony even ported aosp to xperia S so why worring about them?.
We need a developer like nAa, who managed to port a fully working cm7 and cm9 to the x10mini/pro and x8, he is now working on cm10 (minicm10), which runs jb almost as smooth as gingerbread in first generation devices!
We need you nAa!!
One by one the real devs left us. But we still have some Indian modders here. I'm sure they will be the new devs. Wait for that time.

they wont work on it anyway because of the crappy chipset, no developer support offered by ST-Ericsson.

[Q] Is kit kat arriving for xperia sola ?

hi
i was wondering if kitkat would be available for xperia sola cause xperia u is going to recieve it
if not then how long will it take for custom roms to get on kit kat ?
Actually there is no official news that Xperia U will get kitkat, which is highly unlikely in my opinion..
Sola did not get jb. I have no hope for kitkat

KitKat for Sola
Some put KitKat on their Sola, so far it looks good. Not much info though...
Look for this video on youtube (sorry can't post links yet):
watch?v=Y5XIXWh6vPU
A stock KitKat? Maybe, if someday Sony is concerned about the 2012 Xperia users, can you imagine? Yeah, me neither.
As it said, there's no official JB for Sola, KitKat, well I really can't see a possibility if it has the update.
I've seen somewhere that only the Z model will have the 4.4 update.
Gotta buy a Z phone or install CM11 which it's not stable at all.

Does google upgrade it's 2012 models to KitKat?
You must realise that software development never look back, and even it can work on those devices it will be too heavy for them to handle.
I could run Windows XP on my Pentium, 4 with half GB of RAM, is that possible with windows 7?

Yes, it's possible. With Windows 7 Starter.
2012 models can handle KitKat with no problem, but Sony it's like any other companies, they stop supporting phones to make people buy the last model, Xperia Z today. But, f*** no, we are xda, our phones can last for many years.
