So I was uninstalling the cruddy apps that come with the phone when I hit the wrong app and uninstalled my settings apk! Would someone kindly share the settings apk and odex from system/app for me? I would deeply appreciate it.

yeah .. me too . im also accidently uninstall my setting from my lenovo a369i. Then, I factory rest my phone. After I reboot my phone, in the language setup, it says 'Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped.' How I can fix it??

I've tried that but the rom I'm using does not allow me access to the at&t section in the market. Honestly guys please just post the apk if you can or if you can get a hold of the wallpapers from the app that would be apreciated too.

Found this thread on xda's "Droid RAZR General" forum that mentions conflicting results with a workaround for the TWC app preventing the livetv feature if you have root.

Just want to point out that on my AT&T NOTE (Seraphim First Flight ROM) renaming the /system/app/Superuser.apk then clearing the TWC app from memory was successful. Was then able to use the TWC Live TV feature.
A script to do this automatically is probably warranted but I'm sure some of the great minds here on xda will beat me to it !
Worked fine for me on DAGr8 alpha II, no moding needed
Just wonder if any way to get live TV working when off my home wifi network.

nevermind figured it out...Es File Manager> Setting>Allow Root changes..../ system/app/ rename superuser

renamed it to just "SU"... as long as its not "superuser" the app wont see it
So I downloaded it, went to install and it won't let me click install, I can only click cancel?!? Install doesn't highlight or respond. I've had this happen with random apps off the amazon appstore as well. Wtf?

I've had this happen a few times as well... Fix permissions for market and clear data after having to force close the app has always worked for me.

I found it in "Application Manager" just open it and click install
My tmobile 769 didn't come with it either. Its also not listed in application manager

QTranslater don't work on it own, you must install diodict that also in application manager. I don't know if you get .apk file you can use it or not. These application .apk are in /system/apps/bootup. If you want to try to install I can upload it.

I was able to deodex and zipalign using android kitchen. I started modding my LGSystemUI.apk, with a 1% circle battery, using apktool. So its definitely doable.

Oh yea, the lg keyboard will force close, so I installed Google kbd first. Also LGEmail.apk will not deodex, so I removed it with TiBu and just use gmail app.

There are plenty of links for LG Notebook. But quick memo has some dependencies in the framework that aren't present in AOSP.

I tried downloading several it just says "Application not installed." I seen a flashable .zip file for the SGS III that has the Noteboox app.. but im afraid to use it, because the update script, binary is for the SGS (not sure if that makes a difference). I've learned not to flash things from other phones. Is it safe for me to flash it?

If you have an apk that won't install you can try putting it in system apps setting permissions and rebooting.

The permissions for it now is rw-rw-r--
should it be rwxrwxrwx? and/or any special permissions?
All of the other apps in /system/app are rw-r--r--, should it be that?

The apps would need to be modified. The apps call for resources in the stock framework n systemui. You'll have to transfer those resources to the apps them self n change any internal link to the new location of the resources. It's been done but it's allot of work.

Thank you for explaining this. I used the method I described to pull DSP Manager from one ROM and put it in another one. But this is obviously more complicated.
Edit... Mystery gave me an idea and it seems to have worked, pulled apk from gnex zip and installed it.
After tinkering for awhile using a terminal emulator, somehow I have the LG Notebook app. I've noticed a few bugs but all are really really minor. I'm trying to figure out how I did this but it worked somehow.

I have found a way to to this, but it takes awhile for it to work. Will continue trying different ways, im trying to make LG apps work.

Did you see link I posted for Box, it is modded apk that might give some ideas if you can figure what was changed.

The differences are the AndroidManifest.XML files and the working apk has a file called libpolatispdfexplorer.so (Notebook.apk/lib/armeabi/libpolarispdfexplorer.so) I think that might be something necessary for it to work.

I don't have a clue as to how code works......but keep me posted on any progress.
I have version of quick memo someone else posted here awhile ago (ie no credit to myself). It just launches like an app so it works well with a sidebar type app, other than the menu bar for it is captured in the screenshot.
