Hi, i came about a phone that was a demo phone and updated to the latest rom, dynamics hd20.
I assume the radio for the phone is unlocked, everything else works fine, and I've tried with several sim cards.
Anybody have any idea how to restore radio?
it says sim card missing or invalid.
thanks!

No, and I checked diferent BB versions. I was thinking to modificate the version that appears on the nb file but not sure how to do and if I could brick my device ...
I suppose when the release be official in germany, tmobile will provide a correct client.
On the other side I hear imate offer some new v. 4 client for BB but I couldnt obtain.
So you checked versions 4.x already available ??

yes, and no result. Looks the checking of the device for version 4 is more sophisticated as for version 2 and there isn't -i couldn't find- a workaround. With WM5 I was running 2 weeks with BB4, with a clue on the AKU but later it disconnect as for everybody except -looks- hermes. Or in other words, RIM blocks us.
It seems I'd to wait for Tmobile. I can not live without that :-(
OOOPss
I tried installing version 4 BB on my t-Mobile Ameo and it gets stuck on windows mobile screen after installing on WM6.
I want to install WM5 Again and try it with that.
Does anybody know where you can get the original t-mobile wm5 rom?
anyone has runs BB

But like I wrote in the other thread, I'm using BB version 2.1.2.54, not 4.

c0rnholio: do you think editing the head file extracted from nb should be possible to change the name or type of the device? I say this because look Hermes runs BB 4, but I don't know if editing on this way could generate unwanted problems with the upgrade or devices in the pda.

I also thought about this but I don't know if it will work. I think we have to ask one of the flashing-gurus on how to make a Athena look like a Hermes...

Settings, about, somewhere in one of those options is the updater.
If that doesn't work try this, remember always backup first as this way can/might reset your phone

This will be the last time as you are providing no info of what you have done.
Have you even tried the method I have given you?
It does not matter if you have cancelled it or not as you are doing a manual update check.

In the about phone section can you tell me what version of android you have and it will also be followed by something like this UGMK7 etc
Edit: you need to match up your pda,csc and modem version to one on this site. If it matches the top on you do indeed have the latest.

No there is nothing like the one you want, only full firmware here:

If you use SP flash tool you can choose whatever you want to flash.

It could be the phone model number(3 models) and it might be the baseband or even the software version.
What is your model number?
It should be in about device in settings, or written under the battery cover or on the back of the phone.

Apparently the newest one is the one with highest number, so this is the one:
Gionee_F103_Pro_0301_T5907

You have to find a way to get the build number, i can't help you without it.
Check the back of the device, under the battery, or check the box where the phone was.
