I have the Samsung SGH I497 AT&T tablet and I was wanting to know if it is possible to do text messaging with the tablet via AT&T? I know it has a phone number from AT&T but knot phone capabilities for making a phone call like a regular cell phone.
When will this tablet be upgraded to 4.1.2 or 4.2.2? Right now I am running 4.0.4

I updated my SGS II last night from Kies, and the call forwarding does not work now. I have the polish version and it is on Rogers in Canada. Even after the customer service did the forwarding it does not show on the phone that the the service is on. Anybody else have the same problem?

Hey guys I just bought a Samsung galaxy s 2 skyrocket. I popped in my sum card updated my apn settings and things are working good, except for visual voicemail. I was wondering if there is a way to get this working. Also instead of it saying at&t for the carrier name, it says home. Any way to change that?

You're better off asking in the Skyrocket forums. This is the I9100 forums; a different device.
Thank you I apologize

I have a i9300 clone I bought from china and I can't seem to get it to work with straight talk. I enter in all the APN for it and I get "no network or seaching for network. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction using straight talk sim card. Thanks
Sorry... As you see in the forum name, this is GT-I9300 S3 forum, no 'clone' word in the name. I'm pretty sure you will get no support here. This happens when you buy clones from China, don't expect them to work properly

exactly, it's a clone. It'll never be an s3. You're better off finding a forum about Chinese clones.

I think the issue here is buying a clone. Not trying to be a smart ass but you get what you pay for. Are you sure the clones radio frequencies are compatible with straight talk? Or any carrier in the US. Can you test other sim cards at all?. Is the problem just mobile data or are you unable to make or receive calls and get any signal? (that's what it sounds like)

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII that I was using when I had Verizon service, but now I am on AT&T. I don't have a tablet, so I was wondering if I could just use the phone as a tablet? Will everything work like a tablet? Or does it have to have phone service? I know I can connect to Wi-Fi, but I haven't fully tested the functionality of it as a tablet..I thought I would get some insight/opinions here.
This is the wrong forum, but yes. Just Flash paranoid Android and you can set it up to act like a tablet.
