Internet 3G ne fonctionne pas - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
How to activate 3G on goophone i5?
I have the package on my subscription but when I go to the APN of networks I do not register.
thank you

sorry for the title in French.

As in, your carrier is not showing, or you're unable to add the apn manually? Your carrier should have a website with the apn settings to input, or possibly an app or service to download/apply automatically.

I send an email to the seller and tell myself that it is my operator.

So this is the phone that do not go.

O2 Settings

Hi all,
Just got my S740, which I have to admit is surprisingly good.
My problem getting O2 settings to work.
Is there a .cab?
Tried manual setting but, I am crap at it and always have this initial problem.
Tried the O2 icon in settings, clicked get settings. error 'contact O2 for your settings'.
Anyone please help?
Thanks in anticipation.
SIM card up to date?
Mate is your SIM card up to date? 64k?
Operator services sometime need to interact via STK etc.
Just a thought...
Hi SIM is only 4 weeks old had issues with the settings on my ignito, so O2 sent me a new one.
Any ideas?
so do you miss all settings ?
Or just a bunch...
What do you need ?
APN for internet access, SMS message service number
i.e whats not working for you.....?
Let me know and I will try and find out.
Hi and thanks for your reply.
Everything is working apart from internet and MMS.
Thanks
Then you need your APN details.
Internet access and MMS are both depending on your GPRS settings.
Make sure you get the correct APN adress in your phone.
According to the O2 web, these settings are the correct ones for GPRS.
GPRS access settings
APN: mobile.o2.co.uk
Primary DNS: 193.113.200.200
Secondary: DNS 193.113.200.201
Username: username
Password: password
You might want to doublecheck these settings so that they are the correct ones for YOUR tariff - otherwise you might end up paying more than you should.
Regards,
Martin
btw.
You will find the settings were you add the above at:
Start - Settings - Connections - GPRS.
In here you either edit an existing one, or add a new one (via Menu -Add).
Thanks for the info, these settings I have.
I think the problem is that is it trying to connect to work. What should it be?
Thanks again.
not 100% sure
Have a look at:

This might help you
Its tricky for me to verify since I am on a Swedish network.
If you want to connect to the internet set connection to "The Internet".

SGSII Internet Connection

I would be grateful if someone can tell me Internet connections settings for SGSII. I think it is in Settings\Wireless and Network\Mobile Networks\ APNs.
So you need to know the APN settings of your service provider? How can one tell if you haven't mentioned your country and the name of your service provider. You can find the settings in their website too.
Regards.
This site may have what you need...

[Q] Unable to change APN settings on LG Thrive

Hi,
I have LG Thrive (P506) purchased at US unlocked from ATT. I am trying to use 3G services with Airtel. I have created a new APN with all required setting and 3G symbol start appearing on status bar on top. But I am not able be access any data and "no network connection" message appears. I tried the same sim on different mobile and with that mobile 3G is working fine. So its not a carrier problem.
One other thing I noticed is that the phone has some predefined APNs by ATT with name
1. Media Net
2. Entitlement
I am not able to edit/delete these APNs. There are some ATT applications also which can not be uninstalled.
How can I enable the 3G services on phone? Is this because of those predefined APNs? Do I need to root the phone to remove those APNs ?
Thanks,
Viv
Is this because my phone is not properly rooted?

I'm guessing it is related to APN. Contact that provider or see if there are APN settings on their website you can manually input into your phone settings.

You need to find out what APN settings the provider uses. I suggest finding it on their website(if they have them), or contacting them.
You find APN in settings -> mobile/cell data (access point names)
but it does not solve problem
Have you checked your sim card? Sometimes this could be the problem because it could be damaged. If you are pretty sure it isn't damaged, try changing modems or maybe try changing network modes from 3g to 2g or something along those lines.
Go to about phone, status and see if it registers any signal at all in signal strength. If there is 0 asu or 0dBm, this could be just an issue with the carrier and not the phone, meaning that you might have to contact them so that they can correct the issue (in person is probably the easiest for the provider to do).
