A restore package could for your device could always be possible. Ask somebody to dump the partitions for you and flash them.

Hi there, I just started flashing a couple months ago and all is great. When I first started flashing I used cwm to flash a ROM. I would clear data then clear cache then afterwards flash the ROM and would work flawlessly.
Now as I try to do that (trying to flash a brand new ROM), Everytime I try to cleardata or cache on cwm my phone would freeze there, therefore I couldn't properly set up my phone for a new ROM.
Any ideas or solution I can do to fix this? Greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

You will not lose anything. Unless you fubar the phone some how.
Yea I had the same issue about a month ago. The only thing that worked for me was using Odin to put me back to stock gingerbread, re flash cwm and root. Since then I've been able to flash and it fixed the cache hang up in cwm.

I downloaded one of the leaked custom roms of LSJ (Simplistic and Wanamlite). I flashed it, but the problem is it gets stuck with the boot logo. What seems to be the problem here? I have wiped everything. From data to cache. I came from CM10 nightlies, dorimanx kernel.
All replies will be much appreciated.
I believe the mask might be the problem because jb is new file structure. It may strip all mods from your phone.
Yu may have to wait until the offical version has been out for a while before flashing it.

Quite a possibility that the file you have download it may be corrupted so download it once again and check the md5 checksum and then flash it.. Also don't forget to wipe data and cache partition

The file was not corrupt because if it was corrupt, I cannot open it via winrar. Quite strange. I have also did a full wipe in data and cache.

Download this cwm zip http://download.chainfire.eu/267/SuperSU/CWM-SuperSU-v0.97.zip after you download it. Rename it to update.zip, place it to your external sd, reboot to recovery(volume up,home button, power button)wait until you see the greendroid, flash update external storage. Reboot!and your rooted. you can now flash http://www.mediafire.com/?cjf1znoisrwafjdphils kernel for better instability flash it via odin just add it to pda.

Hello everyone...
A friend gave me his Samsung Galaxy SII phone for reparation or bugfix.I tried and tried fixes, but no one worked.
The results are: the /data parition is UNMOUNTABLE (error when entering recovery mode): E: /data Error mounting data! (invalid argument)
and I tried in Odin: Stuck at DataFS :crying:
Getting a stock Rom or Firmware: OK Odin says PASS but nothing's done.
in CWM: tried to format /data: stuck: nothing done.
: Impossible to Wipe data/factory reset: stuck 15 minutes then reboot, but nothing done.
: Impossible to format it: Error mounting /data!
: Impossible to mount it (obiviousily) Error mounting /data!
Recovery mode works; Download mode too.
Heeeeelp......
version: between Ice Cream Sanwich 4.0.4 and Jelly Bean 4.1.2, wanted to Update but can't reboot! (obivious)
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100 (not G/T/M/...!)
Also... Any Help?
P.S. And all this is because he installed CM-Nightly 10 and stucked there.

Get pit file and stock 4.0.3 firmware and install via odin with repartition checked. When u recover it and boot ok at 4.0.3 install again via odin stock jb without pit file and repartition.
