iv built my own rom for the ville, and im trying to change the default theme from boot so it a bit more my own style, iv tryed changing the file at /system/media/theme/default.mtz to the theme i want it to be, but it still boots the basic theme. anyone know the method to change this ?
also how would i change the default wallpaper too ?

I am looking to build my own customised version of cyanogenmod 7.1 to include some theming, other apks etc etc.
However I cant work out how to change the default theme to the one I wish to use. At the moment the theme I want to use is in a .apk format (e.g. your meant to 'install' it then select it from the theme chooser). Can anyone help me?

well i want to know that since usually ppl modifys stock themes and introduces them, so basicly we have 7 themes
in my case i added skyfall theme so i have 8, i would like to preserve the other themes without changing them
how it is possible to make them? so we can have as many themes we want

If you want to change the theme then you will have to change the background inside the theme file
i mean, that, from stock we have 7 themes, but when we make some new themes with z style for example, people changes the stoc themes apearence, with knowing this, i would like to know how could be possible to have the stock ones without modifying them, so basicly we will have 7 stock + as many as themes we want
Hello guys,
I have Eudemony rom(deodexed). I've been using xposed for some time now.. And today I found out about HK theme manager. So I installed it, downloaded an Android Lolipop theme made for HK theme manager from this site: http://www.xposedgeek.net/2014/10/get-android-l-theme-on-all-android.html
But everytime I try to set the theme , then almost nothing happens(after reboot). Why am I saying almost ? Because I see a change in notification bar, where there are changed colours and the icon(shortcut) of settings is changed.. But nothing else...
Am I doing something wrong ?? Or is HK not compatible with touchwiz based roms ?
Thanks for help, if you guys know of any other way, how to get rid of touchwiz everywhere(even in setting and so on) then tell me I want normal stock UI and launcher + icon skin is not enough for me
