GL driver.
USB tether
bluetooth .
let's goooooooooo

I'm pretty sure this is relatively well known, and we have no use for it as GB is fully functional, and ICS/JB works without camcorder or HWA.

Think he probably means the graphic issues also due to not having the drivers we need

On GB or ICS/JB? On neither do I see issues.

I meant on the custom roms

Gb roms are very well built. We don't have them for ics / jb because they were never given to us.
Also do you need a proof reader, or an editor? Sorry my first instinct is to make it a point not to click through any link immediately when I read the word "surce"

Launcher from bionic and Droid 3?

Any way to get whatever version of "blur" the bionic and Droid 3 ported to the photon?
My friend has a bionic and his wife has the Droid 3 and their versions of blur are smoother and faster than the "blur" we have. Id use the stock launcher if it was like theirs. Ours is slow and laggy. Both demo units at my local stores were laggy as well so I know its notmy phone.
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
Strange, my Blur runs smooth without any hiccups, and im running setcpu at 608mhz. So its underclocked on stock rom and kernel.

Well I'm not sure y every photon I use it has lag on the stock launcher. I use LPP and its smooth as hell, back to stock launcher and it lags...

I read it has something to do with widgets, not sure if its the number of widgets, Motorola widgets or android widgets that cause the issue.

even with this monster of information reading and work to put in, I would love to see what you brought up........ its shady we got the low end of the stick their launcher is way better than ours ud think with nVid gpu we have id be more likely to have some better animations.... but noooo........ id like to see someone port this over... id gladly donate to the dev that can port the bionic launcher over to our mopho....
This has already been attempted. A few devs have taken a look at this. In my limited time I took a shot also and couldn't figure it out. The search button helps a lot before you start a new thread.

I brought this same thing up when the phone first launched. I really want the droid 3 launcher but it looks like that is a pretty hard task. Motorola's file structure seems to be the most complicated besides Samsung and it's harder than probably thought to be..
I don't think we will officially see it because it's really made for the whole DRoid push that verizon has. I saw somewhere that we actually don't have a blur phone so that's why we are not getting it. The verizon phones are running motoblur.

2.3.5 for Electrify/Photon, De-odexed included, Radio(Electrify only)

I am not responsible for the things you do to your phone.
I no longer have this phone. With that being said, I will still keep these links up. If for some reason they don't work, I WILL NOT be updating them. If you need them or wish to redistribute them, go for it and grab them while they are still here.
It was a nice phone while it lasted, but after 6 replacements I moved on to something better.
This DOES NOT unlock your bootloader, but will update to 2.3.5 on the already unlocked phones. Sorry to the folks that are locked with the 2.3.5 update. Hopefully something soon happens for you.
This is stock 2.3.5 WITH the updated kernel. Updated baseband as well, in a separate .zip of course.
Download link- http://http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1407...UN_USC_19.0-19-release-keys-signed-USC-US.zip

De-odexed

MD5- f1f6cbdd1340ed2e96b6848ef710a87a
Here is the updated radio. Electrify only!
This will update your radio from n_01.10.00s.xj to n_01.11.00s.xj
Flash in CWM
Please don't be a dumbass and flash on the Photon.
Download link- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14078277/electrify_2.3.5_bp.img.zip

Known issues-
MMS on Sprint- Use GoSMS with Sprint MMS settings
Wifi-Fixed!
You could use my modified install-recovery.sh it enables init.d on stock roms. Btw great job

Thanks to samcripp here at XDA and his Fruit Cake Maker, I have a CWM flashable .zip for you. This is stock 2.3.5 WITH the updated kernel. I still haven't figured out how to update the baseband though

Flashing this will revert your recovery to the stock recovery BUT will keep you unlocked
Re-install your custom recovery according to this guide-http://www.teamuscellular.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=1221
Also, I have noticed that after every boot it re-installs the stock recovery. To fix this, use a root file explorer(I use Root Explorer) and go into /system/etc and delete the file "install-recovery.sh"

If your real picky the us cellular on the notification and such but thats easily fixeable as well.
Needs to be deodexed

I have been using this since you posted it on TUSCC forums and I prefer it over my fudged method, However I have not had this issue with it at all..
My Recovery stays the same after I have re-flashed it, after flashing this ROM.. Weird..
Yeah you could change the topic to electrify/photon.

I'm not saying this to troll, but this is a deal breaker for me, and I never thought for a minute that Sprint's only Tegra powered phone would be crippled over a trivial limitation.
Here is to hopes for motorola to make this feature optional in a future update.

Our screen is way too sensitive without that feature. I disabled it once. That was a dark day

I think if motorola would make it optional as well as add at least more than 2 points of multitouch this would help gaming. There are several games that can use more than 2 touch points.
Joker, with it disabled is there no way to adjust it?
Probably, but youre screen has to be perfectly clean all the time.

There will be no updates. Adobe announced a few months back that it would discontinue Flash for Mobile. What's out now is it.
I've stumbled upon a handful or more of these Adobe Flash threads this morning. I think I really stopped caring after I saw the first one.

That is a whole nother ballgame, ubuntu touch is a pain. Lol
I've given up on working on it for now, as i really need my phone to be working 110% all the time, so im back to stock....with a handful of modifications ofc.
Using th3bills cm10.1 i was trying to just port it over without having to.build like they say in the porting guide, and no luck outside of a loop. User error really. Its best left to the trusted devs, etc round here.
Our phones can handle it great, and then some, BUT, as with anything over the stock gb, without drivers things dont work as they should. Ubuntu touch is really frikkin awesome to look st, but even if someone ports it, it is only a preview an 90% of the features wont work or are just placeholders. Id let it sit a while, not worth a damn atm. But it does give you a taste of the ui. Which, is tough getting used to as it is very gesture oriented as apposed to click here scroll here that we do on android.
-Cheers- Signed,

If I can find some free time in my super-busy college schedule, I'd like to try my hand at porting it for us. Not just because it would be awesome to have it, but because I'd like to eventually do some app development for it (and it looks like a badass OS for a phone).

Unfortunately not. Ubuntu requires it to be unlocked. (ubuntu ATM is highly reliant on cm10 still, so if you can't run cm10,which 2.3.5 can't)
Your stuck between a rock and a hard place

What is the point? We need a decent kernel that can actually support our phone. Atrix 4G succeeded, and all development has halted here. This phone seems pretty much done. Very disappointing.

You might try reflashing the ROM and see if that helps. Also go into more under Wireless and Networks then Mobile Networks and make sure LTE/CDMA/EvDo is the selected network.

Yeah, no. I'm not trying to be rude but I don't touch other people builds unless I know they wont brick my phone or I know the dev and they have a history on XDA and I really really trust them. I will be a guinea pig for recognized devs. I'm not a guinea pig for just anyone though. Don't take that the wrong way, I'm sure you're trying hard to make a good build but I don't like risking my phone that i paid full price for.
You may also want to make sure you included all the correct git repositories and the device repositories.

Just because it boots doesn't mean that you have them all. If there isn't any data whatsoever then it sounds like you are missing something which could possibly be a key repository for data and cell service. Hell Ubuntu Touch was running and booting perfectly without cell service. While that is what we use our phones for that isn't a necessary part to make the ROM boot, just to make it a DD.
