hi all
a friend of mine flashed his i9100g with an i9100 firmware resulting the attached image, i tried every thing with oden, flashing a pit file flashing a correct firmware but didnt work.

i dont have a jig, is there any way we can solve it with out a jig?
note: i can not enter download mode or recovery mode.

Get or make a jig (instructions on the internet), you will need to access download mode to flash the correct software. If a jig doesn't get you to download mode then I'm afraid all may be lost (at least I can't think of another way to recover from this).

Looks like you've trashed your phone with repartitioning and flashing a kernel as a bootloader. What guide were you following which told you to do this?
I would expect this is a rather sheepish trip to a Samsung Service Centre.
is there any thing to do ?
if you've repartitioned then its off to Samsung i'm afraid. Which guide did you follow?

It might not be completely bricked. Try really hard to get into download mode. If that still works, flash a stock firmware from Intratechs thread with his guide, with one .tar file only. This is how I unbricked mine after I put the wrong stuff in the wrong Odin box.
Its not bricked. Its at the second 'download mode' point. Go to intratechs official software thread in original development thread and follow the directions in the first post.
When using odin, make sure you arent running kies at the same time. Odin and kies dont mix well.

I am running Jelly Bean on siyah kernel. If anyone knows of any way to fix this, please leave a reply.
I get that when I connect my phone to my big acer touchscreen all-in-one pc, w7 64 bit.I think its because ive not installed Kies on it.
I dont get that when I use my Laptop, which had Kies on it.
Alright ill try reinstalling Kies and let you know if it solves this problem.

In my case,the phone is still recognized though.I can move files about etc.I dont use Kies at all, but Im supposing that box means you couldnt use Kies?.
Ive not tried using Odin on my pc yet, as its vital the phone is recognized by the pc when you flash stuff (ie scenario when you lose recovery mode).

then it failed...
unsuccessful flashed...

Your phone is semi brick. Buy a jig from internet or acessories shop and plug in to your phone. It will go to download mode automatic or pick your phone to Samsung Service.

Hmm i think no. But I ever saw a post that pick battery out from phone and then, charge a phone and pick battery back and press home power and volume down quickly. (Not sure is it work.)

You did do Volume DOWN + home + power..?
That's stock recovery. Is it normal to get that when using the button press combo for download mode ? No. Are you sure you used the right combo ? (Download mode = switch phone off, hold home/volume down & power).
Just be careful about data wipe as you on 4.0.4 stock kernel plz read about emmc brick bug
Ah its ok, sorted now, was pressing volume button incorrectly! Thanks guys.
Its rooted now succesfully with Syrah 5, and got Titanium Backup on it. Still got the 3G only issue tho. Downloaded GetRIL, all is fine there. But it wont go into H, only 3G+ , and sometimes nothing at all.

Hello
I am running the rom Ilusion 4.3. It runs very bad, so I want to flash another rom.
My problem is that the recovery doesn't recognize my back ups or other roms on my SD card.
I also can't do anything with Rom Manager, it doesn't reboot my phone into recovery.

If it were me I'd go back to stock via Odin to get a clean slate, re-root the phone with PhilZ or Siyah, and try a clean install of whatever rom you want to use.
Also, stay away from Rom Manager on the I9100/T. That will either break recovery or cause bootloops eventually.

thats a known issue for now on illusion rom ma8 , just flash a odin flashable 'Philz' or 'Dori' kernel then use its recover to flash a diff custom rom, to get out of the mess
