1.First download require data from Here!!!
2.Copy it to your sd card
3.Turn off your phone and switch to CWM

6.Reboot

Ya You can flash this mod ... but you will not get much more better performance as you will get this mod in stock ( i think so)

Download Real racing 3 data from given torrent file (below)
(Download the data from the torrent to your respectively processor)
This is not raw data ..when you download it rename it to na ( _raw to _na)

U uses the mid quality file as defaults (my sola too), so modify it and you'll see the diffrence

i see a slight bump in FPS in SubwaySurfers , nothing else seems to be effected , tho i didn't try alot of games .

You must try a ROM with all the unwanted things removed and with very less apps installed and that to blocked so that they can't run in background...

No device is heavy until it has atleast 1GB RAM...... My opinion....
get a device wid mali400mp4 or powervr544 or adreno320 gpu .... that's heavy hardcore gaming device

I know, but it is pathetic, that my Xperia Ray with the Adreno 205, Scorpion CPU, and same amount of ram, was waaay better at gaming than my sola. Sola can't even run asphalt 7 or MC3 without lags....

sure? i had asphalt 7 and nfs most wanted.. the 2 games works perfectly for me
i have tried N.O.V.A 3 with GB i have find some lags (playable) but when i updated to 4.0.4 nova is usupported?
Try to set your cpu governor to performance but it can get a little hot.

Which rom? For me asphalt lags as ****, nfs mw playable but laggy on stock gb + cile381 kernel

U cn try the app boost my xperia by gagan.u20... Its more than jst a taak manager... U cn select gaming mode in the app which requires root access (nw tats smethn diff), it will force close some apps running in bg thus freeing up sme ram for gamin... I've tried it fr my xu and it works lyk a charm

I am not a massive fan of gaming on my android phone but since Real Racing 3 was released I can't get enough of it!
My problem is that when running on my Xperia U it is extremely laggy sometimes and also FC's alot.
Can anyone recommend a gaming optimized rom maybe that can actually handle the games needs or is there any tweaks I can do to get it running better?
I am running the latest cyanogenmod 9, rooted with unlocked boot loader.
I just don't understand how an iPhone 3GS with a 600mhz CPU can run this better than a dual core 1ghz CPU?
Any help is much appreciated!

HEY buddy
- Try to edit file at folder SDCARD/Android/Data/com.ea.games.r3_row/.depot/eds
- in folder have a file:
1. AndroidHigh.plist
2. AndroidMid.plist
3. AndroidLow.plist
4. AndroidXtraHigh.plist
- just copy another one you wanna use, example you use AndroidLow.plist and paste
- rename to AndroidMid.plist and AndroidHigh.plist (in Xperia U use between 2 both that file but i dont know maybe cant)
- and just try playing you felt fullspeed, no lags

i think i may have a solution to your problem. if you install chainfire 3d (requires root(link at bottom of post)) you can decrease texture quality and/or texture size which will reduce quality nof all apps until disabled but does help lag and memory usage which is probably why you are getting fc because you have run out of memory or it is starting to overheat.

iPhone Has Better GPUs it not about CPU but GPU...
Disable sound in game thus may help... It's not RAM problem its gpu

i happen to have MIUI ICS on my neo v. flashed this and booted up. now will see if there is any change in gaming i have quite few games installed. some HD too.
Well .. i dont see any diference. still able to play the normal games just fine, and HD games have kinda low fps (this is mainly coz the low memory, android is closing tasks in background and fps drops. or in my case it moves things on the swap file on the sd card.)
if anyone wants fluid HD gaming, go GB, go 1.4GHz oc and close background apps to get as much free ram as possible. i played a lot of HD games like that, like dead trigger, all NOVAs, some NFS titles, and my favorite, Dead Space.
Flashed successfully but after boot logo backscreen
Wiped dalvik cache and cache partition
Iambusing zelly cream v 2.5 with suave kernel xd

What the problem?
XP working very well, installed FULL GPU 2. Maybe placebo effect but seems very fluid even in the home screen, full of widgets. No Force Close for the moment, great work
Just flashed gpu2 ond p .75 and internet stopped working. Wifi works. Anybody else has the same problem?
EDIT: after few resets and flashing backup than gpu2 now it works...

Generally when gpu rendering is enabled the 2d score touches 1000
Benchmark are numbers..(see also 3d changes) you will have a more fluid and graphic phone!

I have 10-23 fps in online I tried many firmwares, but MC4 lags all of them. Can i play in MC4 without lags on my Xperia U? On which firmware? On which kernel?

hey man single player is so smooth but multiplayer needs a lot of cpu so it lags like hell on my xperia sola and my xperia u you can add some swap and over clock

i made a swap on cm 9 and used a kernel with overlock, but lags didnt`t lost :crying:
I know man that lags dont go i am disapointed with gameloft they made the apk difriniate the graphics between low end and high end devices so we get poor graphic and some performance (means loads of lag but iwent to mc3 )

no you can i have found something good but for the stock official ics cuz any rom have some problems with decoders of hw and sw so u will have a lag but cm9.1 is good also
what u have to do is go to settings/developer options/
then make the back ground processes 1 when you are going to game only cuz 1 is not good for maultitasking
but on my sola i made it 1 and igot 208 mb with the settings app opend wicH means 240mb free so it will not lag and make the cpu to performance guvenor
and one last thing made asphalte 8 work fine with very low lag on sola
go to build.prop through any root explorer and you will find:

If they make it work on dual core proccessor it will be beast cause I do not think they will optimize it for Xperia play and I have the Play and the U and I am considering buying a PS Vita and I can not afford buying a mediatek device or samsung galaxy s3 and I do not see problems for gameloft making Modern Combat 5 for PS Vita the grahics are going to be better than those on mediatek cause it is a mobile and PS Vita is a console with ps3 like graphics, so I hope for Dual core optimization and PS Vita in the near future! PEACE!
