[Q] Transparent Status Bar Mod - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm on stock Android 4.1.2. I have a rooted International Galaxy S3 i9300. Build Number XXEMB1. I want to make by status bar transparent whilst keeping the notification icons and things in the same place (without the middle clock thing). I want to keep everything the same. Only the transparency to 80%. How to I go about doing this without messing anything up?

[Q] Move Notification Bar icons (rearrange)?

I'm running CM7 on my original Droid. I'm using the phone strictly as a VOIP Phone and the cellular connection is deactivated. I've used Ninjamorph to black out the cell phone signal bars, but now there is a big space between my wifi icon and the battery icon (where the cell signal bars used to be). So is there a way that I can swap the positions of the cell phone bars and the wifi icon? Or maybe just a way to remove the cell phone bars from the notification bar?
I would love to be able to rearrange the icons on the status bar and on the notification bar!

Sent from my LT18i
So I've experienced an empty space to the left of my notification bar and was wondering if this would be able to fix it/get it back to its original state? Here is the brief on when this occurred:
I had recently updated my sensation to ics. Everything was fine but today after an application update to Google+ and lookout security, there was a space occurring to the left of my notification bar where the notifications for some of my other apps would usually occur so it looked like there was an empty space to the left before my first app notification (all my app notifications shifted over to the right by one space you can say).
I have included photos of before and after.
You would have to edit the layout xmls of the systemui.apk to tell it not to draw those icons
So basically I follow the tutorial linked above with the section "Switching the icons around with the notification icons (optional)"? Or is there another way to do it? Also, do I need root access to continue with that tutorial?

I dont think you need root access unles you try to adb push the file back onto the device and you cant du to root permissions. But you could always slip the .apk into a flashable zip and go from there.

[Q] Need expert help on notification panel modding...

Hi all,
I am new to custom stuff. Im using SGS2 running stock ICS with root access..
My launcher is Touchwiz Home 4x5.
I wanted to make the notification pulldown more ICS like. So, I flashed bluestocktoggles, and it brings the required changes without a problem, BUT, I dont want to change battery and data indicators along with..
Is there a way to change the notification pulldown alone to ics blue style without changing battery and network indicators...

Why don't you simply update your phone to android 4.3 you will get transparent statusbar on stock firmware and you will be able to root it again too.
really?
I thought that was only for s4?
Also how can I update if ive rooted?
And if I find a way how can I make it transparent?

You can update with Kies or Odin, Odin you can get from my signature, 4.3 firmware from Sammobile, com
If you want full notification background transparency on you phone you will need to do that yourself because the ones on XDA will be part of themed stock or custom roms, there are e few things that need to be changed in the SystemUI.apk to make transparent notification panels.
The way you want it to look is your personal choice but would suggest you don't set it to 100% transparent you should keep some shading..

[Q] Do we have iOS7-looking status bar or similar for the i9300 4.3 stock rom?

Specifically, the signal turns into four dots, etc.. Or any other cool status bar for stock 4.3 ROM (I'm rooted). I've searched into the Themes & Apps section but maybe there's a dedicated thread for changing status bars and things like that.
Thanks for the suggestions!
