So I've been checking out a fun app for wallpapers and thought I'd share the love. It basically let's you randomize what your wallpaper will be. Change on the fly or on a timer. It's a fun app if you guys like to change the wallpaper often like I do. Yes it costs $1 but I say it's with it since it's one of the few apps that hasn't crashed on me and works purely as advertised. Enjoy!

I quite like WP Clock. Not the most elaborate or exciting one in the world, but serves the purpose and looks nice doing so.
Does exactly what you'd expect; it's a digital readout of the time and date that overlays a static image from your gallery. Only real downside is that the static image doesn't scroll with your homescreens when you have this one active.
i like the matrix one,
i dont know y
i just like it, hehehh
Found this a couple days ago and its fantastic!
Looks great and scales perfectly to our notes!
You can make your own material like wallpaper with the pro version.

Thanks for this tip...very nice indeed! What I really like is the option to use the backgrounds static as well.
A further tip : if you want the Minima background for lockscreen as well, then first set the background of your choice with Minima and afterwards do the standard way for changing wallpaper on the phone, choose both background and lockscreen and then choose Minima and choose set background. That way you'll have the Minima background as both wallpaper and lockscreen.
Glad you guys like it
Is the work of Josh Oleksyn ,all those material walls posted on the wallpapers threads were done with his app Minima - awesome app!
Minima Moving Material Design is also his work
JokoInteractive
I've had this for a while. I got the Pro version. Worth ever penny.
This is very nice, thanks for sharing.

This LWP is high resources demanding. My N4 became laggy after use it.

No problem at all on my Note4. Btw you also have the option (settings in Minima) to save the wallpaper. Afterwards go the normal Note4 route for changing wallpaper and lockscreen background. That way you don't need to use the Minima app.

hi
i agree with @daffie post above .I have been using Minima Pro ( Joko Interactive ) for sometime now and have no issues with Minima causing lag or any excessive battery drain , etc , etc . .(I have also used Joko interactive other live wallpapers eg. Paperlands Pro and have no issues.with it )
good luck
I want to edit an app named "Pixelscapes" on play store. It has 3 unique live wallpapers and also free and no ads. But i have been using this app for so long and with only 3 wallpaper it started to be boring.
I can design GIFs and Pixel arts so I want to use my designs.
I know some basic fundamentals of java and C. But i have no idea about android development. Where should i start?
Is there any guide ?
I just want to edit THIS app i have no intention to do more.
( Why i want to use especially this app? Because this is only battery friendly live wallpaper which is really smooth and works perfectly fine on my device.)

So if I understand you want to edit the app in order to display your gif and pixel arts in what I guess to be the select menu?
Hey folks.
As the title implies, I would like to know what everyone's favorite weather app is. Yes Xda has an article occasionally on the front page that gives their opinion on the best weather app but I want to hear it from those who matter the most (all of us end users).
My favorite, since 2000 has always been WeatherBug but after earth networks sold the WeatherBug brand to xAd (now known as ground truth), something happened that left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Anyhow, I pretty much liked everything about WB except the ads (which I never noticed because of Adaway lol) but I'm a truck driver and I especially loved their radar. It was the best looking radar I had ever seen and what made it even better is I didn't have to buy the premium version to unlock radar.
I also liked the widget would show me my current temperature of the area I am driving through while I could have the temperature back home always displayed in the notification bar.
Anyhow, those are all of my favorite things about my former favorite app but I have been actively searching for months for a solid replacement. The things it must have are
1. Radar
2. Current conditions
3. 5-7 day forecast
Those are my 3 MUST haves. Also I'm not a fan of apps packed with ads and trackers or yearly subscriptions nor having to pay just to unlock radar and other options. By the way, I tried 1weather and its a beautiful app but its radar is lacking compared to WB.
So what's your favorite weather app and why? What makes it stand out?
My favorite weather application will always remain Overdrop, it doesn't have radar (which doesn't bother me personally), but I find it impossible to make a prettier weather application, really, test it and you'll see

Yessir I will check it out. Hey, if nothing else, if I like Overdrop, I could always use it and find myself another app with just radar.
Anyone use something better? Been using Zedge for ages and just want something new...since I got a new phone now.

Excellent suggestion! Great walls in the app! Now to find one for ringtones.
I've used Google Wallpapers and enjoy the ones they provide. Downside is they do not update or add any new ones.
I would highly recommend Muzei. It's a live wallpaper app that changes your wallpaper at whatever interval you want from whatever source you want. It allows dimming And blur effects. Very cool, highly recommend it with Vitrina (which gets pictures from reddit).
This one is a good one, walls & ringtones.

Recently I use Backdrops or Stokie.
Does any of these app have good live wall paper for the lock screen?
