I used Lenovo A789(ICS 4.0.4) android. I have Scandisk 32 GB memory cards. Some the mobiles give up a popup message "SD card unexpectedly removed or SD card damaged" . Sometimes my mobile taker restart with that message when "SD card unexpectedly removed or SD card damaged" message is shown I am unable to use SD memory's apps. so please he me.

Because may be you are using low class memory card, could be class2 memory card, go for class 4 or higher and all will be fine.:highfive:

can u explain how this problem comes to ur device ...
may be u have some hardware issue in ur device if same problem remain after changing other card...

Try dialing *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service tests>External Memory (if you are on ICS already - I don't recall GB having this option). It should be able to detect your microSD card as "Inserted/Mounted".

The update is not released yet for my phone.

Also works on Gingerbread.
I dialed that number and folowed the steps and it says "memory card status : Not inserted".
Gues it's a hardware problem then?

my wt19i is on stock GB rom, i rooted it, installed Link2SD, created partition on my sd card, linked some apps to the sd card..
and then i decided to flash my phone to stock ICS.. it succeeded though.. but my phone can't recognize the sd card anymore..
i flashed it again to stock GB, formated the sd card, but it still the same..
I have the xactly same problem. Last night I tried to flash AOS 4.4.x to my WT19i with no good. So I reflashed with last working CM (CM9.1) with 4GB flash inserted. I reflashed, set the phone up for the first time, connected with facebook and installed couple of apps (I have not moved the apps to card - all were in the internal memory). But toady in the morning, I bought a new 8GB sd card and wanted to replace it. And here the problem starts.
When I inserted the card into the phone, it said that the card could be removed. When I look into settings>storage, I see "mount sd card" option. When I click it, it goes grey for a sec and then BOOM, "mount sd card". I tried returning back my old 4GB card, but I still see the "mount sd card" option. Simply, the phone stopped reading any sd card.
Even the recovery cant read the card, which I think is a major issue - I cannoit reflash system, since I cannot access sd acrd in recovery.
Yes, every card I tried IS working - tested on other two phones and three computers.
So I think, is it a hardware issue with the card interface in the phone?

Did u change anything? Kernel, Rom, Firmware version?
U can try to copy all data from sd card to PC, format it and then copy data back to sd card.
Maybe this will fix it. If not it seems to be a prob with sd card itself (Hardware)

yeah I had used many kernels ROMS .etc etc but reverted back everything to stock and unrooted
I have a problem..i cant view the files of my SD CARD on my LWW Phone..but when i insert my SD CARD to a card reader, i can view/save/transfer file..
i can view my SDCARD thru usb debugging when inserted to my phone but the problem is i can copy/paste file from/to it.

I think you should back up data in your microSD card to computer (throught SD reader) and try to format microsd card
hmmm got no problem when sd card is inserted in SD READER, everything is normal..

There is some custom roms that have strange behaviors with sdcard, But the stock is not very normal to have problems.
Try back up data in your microSD, and format, and scan your sd card

Card problem =/
Already had a card that was also so and then formatted the card in a laptop with internal card reader, formatted and it worked and was operational again

So I have a 32GB memory which worked for 2 or 3 months perfectly and suddenly my HTC Desire 616 dual sim is providing an error message saying "Damaged SD Card". So I removed it from the phone and formatted the memory card with Fat32 file system. And still it provide the same error. Then i tried again and also factory reset the phone as well. Still Same Error occurred.
Please Help!!! What can i do to solve this issue???

Is this card from eBay card?
Sometime I had those kind of problem and all those times, I bought them on eBay. :-/
You can try a low level format first.

I bough Asus zenfone 5 A501CG,I installed all app after that I try to move some app in sd card but there is problem I faced but in my phone all data was run which is in my sd card but problem only this.and I thought format sd card than problem solve but in zenfone there also problem there is not any option to format sd card than I formated the sd card in PC but problem is continue,Than I thought my scandisk sd card may be cracked so I changed it but problem is there in other card and my friend has same phone and he can move all apps in sd card so please help me,How can I do this?

First the answer is the Asus Zenfone 5 does not support all the memory cards.
Almost all Kingston memory cards it will support. Because i had the same problem i called the customer support guy and he told me some of the companies memory cards with size. I brought one of those and it worked.
So, dont work hard just try another memory card.

format ur memor card in FAT32 mode,,, nd it works,
