I am using malata zpad t8 (1gb ram and 9.7"IPS) for a month. And i am really bored with this orginal rom.
Do you know any rom compatiable with my zpad?
Cause i tried vegan-tab 5.1 final and it doenst boot up ( doesnt even come to boot screen ). Just stuck in Malata logo.
If you can help, i'll be very happy.

it's said that the bootloader came with T2 and T8 are locked version so it's some hard to flash them with custom images.
Before buying a G tab I was interested in the Malata T2 and T8. I saw a chinese site with detailed info about the T8 and also rom development.
Try to google seach malata t8 custom rom.
Did you find any roms with english instructions on how to flash them?
I found a couple but had to babelfish the instructions and chickened out.

Thats a lie.
Zpad T2 is not locked, the chinese community are doing more with it than the XDA are with the GTAB

Try the ezpad site. I think the bigideas rom works on the t8. It works on the t2.
no guys i still can not find a custom rom for this pad. ez-pad site can not be translated . i dont know if bootlader is locked or not, but iwill give it a fine search to find out. thanks for your advices

I have one also.
To root instal Z4root on the tablet and u will get succes.
For the rom.... I have downloaded big ideas making a search of: update-cm-7.0.2-Harmony-T8-KANG-signed.zip
But still not tried.
Hope to join more people with this tablet to share experiences but I see there is not many people and people who have it are a litle bit spread.
Will sugest to open a Zpad T8 thread.

I have little trouble with Google translate.
I doubt the bl is locked.

for some reason ez-pad cannot be translated via google translate. You have to use babelfish. I have no idea why.

These are almost impossible to brick.Read up on nvflash. most of the chinese roms use nvflash to install.

hi again,
i finally got my t8 bricked. it even doesnt start in APX mode. whatever the key combination is , lsusb always show 7100. it should be 7820 and my computer see the device as "nvidia tegra2 usb device". i am going nuts. my screen is just the empty black-ish screen like the Apx mode but it isnt. any ideas? if i can start with apx mode, i have nvflash material to restore.

Got to official site and there you have themes, apps etc. for ivio products but It said that ivio doesn't make firmware for its products because that is risky process. My advice is to find some forums for that tablet.

I have gone through all the above details u mentioned dude .. Im stuck basically with this tablet .. I have even email the manufacturer that i need all the said details abt this tablet ... But they r nt responding either ..

it has Froyo 2.2 .. very slow and laggy firmware .. need to upgrade the firmware to the latest it supports ...
the point is .. how to know what firmware and version does it supports the latest ?
2nd thing how to go in to the recovery mode and download mode of this tablet ?

sir .. of course .. u got me right ... my intentions were absolutely the way u judged me .. since i am unable to find anything on internet abt my tablet .. i was looking for help in forums people just like you .. who are good and helpful developers .. they might help me to find answers of my questions ... since they obviously know the build details chipset etc etc ..
Greetings everyone, before I made this very first post on the forum I can assure that I used the search option. So this is my little problem. A friend of mine just bought a phone made in China with Android OS (sounds pretty stupid to me). The problem is that the menu contains several sections where the english language is not available, but only chinese.
The most important thing I would like to know is what softwares should I use to upgrade the phone to a better version with full English menu, it would be nice to have Romanian language too but the main issue is to get rid of the chinese thing. The phone is using Android 2.3.6, if anyone could help I could provide all the information about the software versions of the phone. Also I can post a picture or the phone name if this helps with something. Many thanks!
Hi The phone make and model would definitely help. I'm sure you can't be the only person that would need english on that device!
What's the name of the cell....and intalling a new custom rom will solve your problem

Really need some help with a new 10 inch tablet I purchased. its model no is BC1077 and that's about all it says in the box.
The problem is with the touchscreen as it does not work. i have done a factory reset using a mouse but that did not help, is there anything else I can try like flashing it using my PC?

I got the same one from that ebay guy too its strange but id rather have this over any lg but its hard to find any real custom roms and firmwares :,-( but its great as is with ics but would love jb instead

I also have this tablet. Touchscreen is working, but G-sensor is not. My firmware is "crane_bc1077-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20121030 test-keys", what is yours?
Can you, please, make full backup of you tablet using recovery menu? Also you can knew exact system info about your tablet by using specdevice.com.
ive not got the firmware but theres another page on here that has some similar firmware but no one can find the official firmware atm i have the n500 firmware on that page its ok but no rotation on mine will see if i can post a link (not sure how on my phone but will try it for you)
