I went from stock S2 rom to MIUI and so far loving it. However, and this is just a query really, the other night I downloaded GTA 3 from the market.
Now, on MIUI when I browse the market, its not there. Going on the website, it states "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." Well, yes it is.
I know I can prob download it elsewhere, but I paid for this.
Is this cos of the MIUI rom confusing google?
Also, as a bonus question, how can I get a list of all the apps I installed recently.
When I check googles market website, it lists only 3, and I've downloaded like 30.
GTA III will show not compatible with Galaxy S2, no matter what rom you used.
You can download the apk from others. I downloaded it and haven't got any problem so far (Just sometimes the game is force closed.)
For the installed app, I think it will show only the paid one. Mine doesn't show the free app in the previous installed. (Not Sure bout this)

The thing was I downloaded this from the market in the first place. It must of been compatible to let me download it? Because on this market its gone. It like they pulled it.

I think something is wrong, tried to download the natwest app and that's also missing from the market. This MUIU seems to be causing issues which is annoying because I love using it. Any ideas?

I don't think problem is with your Rom. I am using lightening Rom and I have the same problem with some apps I downloaded from market. Maybe its because the newer versions of those apps miss something to be compatible with galaxy S2 or maybe its a market glitch.

Its odd. They dont show up on my phone by going to the market on my pc just says it's not compatible. I guess the only way ill know is going back to my rom backup and see if it works.

Some apps are just not compatible with your phone ( GTAIII is an example, the developers haven't optimized it for SGSII ). You can still download any of those .apks elsewhere, and install them , chances are they won't work ( GTAIII does in fact work , if not by default , then by using chainfire3D). It's not, i repeat, it's NOT a bug in the market , or a bug in the ROM.

And suddenly I can't update Go SMS Pro (v4.33) in my Black i9100 (suddenly says incompatible) while it's normal on my fiance's White i9100.
Both international version, same ROM same installed programs inside, configuration, and version.
This once happeneded to me, maybe your DPI is not compatible with market giving you the error. If its changed return it to the value of 240
Nah, I never mess with DPI settings. Its suddenly like that.
Yesterday I can see it in the market and when it requested to update I just decline it because I wasn't in wifi area and decided to update it today but it now says incompatible. Weird...
While in my fiance's i9100 it downloaded perfectly.
And the build prop is stock. Also here's my config:

I have a couple of apps already installed like instagram on my phone right now.
I can't update it since the market is telling me that its not compatible for my device.

Not sure, but i would try standard methods like deleting cache of market and reboot. I once had the problem, that the market didnt recognise apps that have been pushed around by app2sd or L2SD (you use some of them?)

I downloaded Instagram from the market and updated without a problem
It does support Armv6 without a doubt

However when I try to download, the file doesn't exist and not even for sale. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I really need to work on office documents and I really liked using Polaris on the S2 when it came preinstalled with the full version. Help appreciated!

Drag the backup files from your SGS2 Titanium backup into your current and restore or instal apk from sgs ROM.

Yup, Polaris Office v4.0 is missing, no way to even buy for it now.
Also no need try S2 or note Polaris Office v3.+, it just won't work but give not support in our device warning only.
Have to use quickoffice until I find a working version. Polaris was much smoother.

Disappointing
I can't believe Samsung. After all the superb devices they have brought to us in the last year or two, we are expected to accept that Polaris Office, a core application (and an essential one for me) in every other device, is missing from their flagship device when we 'upgrade'. Hasn't come cheap either. Sadly, my wife's HTC One X - available weeks earlier - has it no problem. Didn't tell us that before we spent a tidy sum of money, did they? Back to my Note.
When I tried to open a technical manual that i've been using since the I9000 days, Polaris said it ran out of memory...not sure if that is anything to do with it not being the full version. Downloaded the Acrobat pdf viewer and it handles it so easily!!

Do you have brand new GalaxyS3? Now, you can download full version Polaris office for Galaxy S3. Please have a look, if you don’t know how to download Polaris Office on your Galaxy S3.
Got my SGS3 yesterday and i had no problems downloading Polaris Office 4.0. I am assuming thats its the full version as i have the ability to create documents

The same here, I've successfully installed Polaris Office 4.0 from Samsung Apps

The problem is that there is a 4.0 version which does not work with Jelly Bean. It only works with ICS:good:

Are you still not able to GET this full version file? Try installing the one on my link below. I got it from my S3 and it is the one I got from Samsung Apps. This should work on any S3 only.

it probably relies on some sammy stock apps and if your rom doesnt have them it wont work. i am on custom rom for N3 that is a full stock S5 port so my N3 is just like s S5 and it works for me.
Anybody have a mirror for the apk? Mega isn't working right now.
Also, Mega sucks in general. What kind of service will let you download directly from the website on the PC, but requires that you download their stupid app if it sees a mobile User Agent? That's some shady crap right there, but it's par for the course when it comes to Kim Dotcom.
EDIT: Never mind, the app is on Google Play and you can download it that way if you have a compatible Galaxy device.
