What camera are you using? I know with some cameras, taking pictures it have a option for anti banding it reduces flickering.

aosp camera takes darker photo ，even when using a third party camera app，and the general quality is much less great than htc camera，is this kernel related？

I think it's more of a limitation of the aosp camera app. It doesn't take as high mp as the sense camera

Thw Sense camera panorama mode is vastly better than the aosp one too.
Hello I have tried using Panorama Mode on the camera but the camera just stops after I get the second picture and freezes up. Any ideas?

Turn your phone into landscape mode when taking a front camera picture.. It wont force close.. I've only tested on liquid smooth so if anyone else can try it on a different rom that would be great
