I have the original Neo, I wanted to update to official Sony ICS. I rooted by phone then updated and I'm having one major problem: I can't connect to any Wifi network.
I can see the networks but can't connect to them. I searched around and tried WiFix but it's still exactly the same.
I see no solution to this problem..
I need an advice, what's the most stable ICS Rom that I can flash instead of the official Sony Rom so I can overcome this problem? I need a very stable and smooth Rom that will help me overcome this headache, I've been trying to update my phone for 5 days now and every time I face a new problem.
Please help.

Never had a wifi problem after updating to ics.
Has your phone an unlocked bootloader where you had flashed a custom kernel with special wifi modules? Maybe you have to flash stock ics wifi modules.

Okay...I have had this problem for a while now and cant find a solution to the current problem. Here goes. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note I717M. This is the Canadian version to the AT&T Note I717 I have been rooting my phones for several years now and pretty familiar with the ongoings of the whole process. I rooted my phone via ODIN and put a custom rom onto my Note with no problems. Everything works great! Where I run into a problem is when I decided to go with the Jellybean update 4.2.2. The Jellybean rom I am using is called Jellybam version 7.8.0. ParanoidAndroid Ver. 3.15 quincyatt_jb-mr1_build-6. When I installed it everything seemed to work fine for the first couple of days. All of a sudden my phone started to freeze where everything was non functioning. This frozen state would last for about 15 seconds then my screen would go completely light blue for another 5 to 10 seconds then turn off and reboot. It doesnt do this with any 4.2.1 custom roms. Only with the 4.2.2 version. Does anyone have this similiar problem? Is there a fix for this? I love my custom 4.2.2 rom and dont want to go back to any other earlier Android OS and rom. Can someone shed some light as to what is happening and is there a proceedure that needs to be followed or done differently so that this doesn't continues to happen. Or yet again is the a know issue? Any insight to fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated! I await your helpfull tools and hints. Any help I will be happy with.
thanks Guys
Paul
This is a known issue on Kelly bean roms. Oddly, most people are having less reboots with the new 4.2.2 over the 4.1.2 .... The issue is the kernel. There is no source to build from yet. So ... There are issues.
I have had a lot of freezing and reboots on many of the jelly roms. I'll tell you that you rom, jellybam, is not supported on xda.
I'm am currently on the unofficial AOKP and having great luck. You may want to give it a go.
Hi guys, I've had this issue ever since I bought this phone but I never really tried fixing it.
I've had many different ROMs: stock jb to custom ones and now stock kk, yet it is still present.
I've tried searching but I haven't found a solution.
My phone frequently drops/loses its signal many times a day.
There is no pattern; it randomly loses signal for a while.
I've learned to just resend my messages if they fail to send, but can anyone help me finally resolve this issue?
My phone is unlocked and I live in New Zealand.
Currently I'm on the stock KK rom and I have never touched my modem/radio.
Would it be solved by flashing a new radio? And if so, which one is recommended?
Please help, thanks
Hi all...
I bought an One Max O2 branded and updated to 4.4...with the f**** GPS Problem.
Now i tried some Custom Roms... with some Roms i got fast fix but horribel accuracy with others it takes long time to fix with a better accuracy. So i think ist definetly no Hardware-Problem.
I think the only way to get a good working GPS is rollback to 4.3.
Im unlocked, S-Off and on hboot 2.49...
Anyone can tell me what to do to completely roll back to Stock 4.3?
Thanks a lot
Greetings
Jerry
Hi guys
Just received my redmi note 4 three days ago, set it up and installed all my apps and it was good, the version on it was MIUI 8.0.3.0 Global Stable, but it was asking me to update to 8.0.4.0, so I did, and ever since I noticed that the phone gets more hot, battery drains faster than it used to on previous version, and what's even worse, is the signal, it keeps always switching between 4G and 3G even if the signal coverage in my location is good (had the galaxy s7 before and it never did this), even on MIUI 8.0.3.0 it was a stable 4G all the time. So I performed a factory reset and started fresh, battery and heat are now good but I still have the bad signal issue. So I figured that I should downgrade to MIUI 8.0.3.0 and wait for 8.2 hoping that it won't have this issue. The question is how can I do that? Can I use the standard method of flashing using SP Flash Tool found here? http://en.miui.com/thread-370620-1-1.html
If you have any other solutions, please advise
Thank you!

Hello there!
You can use the method that you linked without any problem. SPFlashTool does not check for current firmware version so you can do a downgrade just fine. Make sure to follow the exact steps in MIUI Forums especially where it says wich files/images to flash to your device. Otherwise you may brick your Note 4.
If you are interested you could also try a custom ROM wich will give you a smoother and less buggy device. But you will need a bootloader unlock for that to work.

Thanks
I've already downgraded, unlocked my bootloader and tried a couple of custom ROMs including Epic ROM and multirom, but I didn't like them very much, they had too many buys and the development for them is not very good.. Could you suggest a good custom ROM that isn't as buggy and has a good battery life? I'd appreciate it if you could.

I only tested one ROM yet and that would be that one linked here!
It works just fine at the moment. I have had it for 4 days now. I would also suggest flashing Magisk 11 or suhide.
There currently is a Bug with the middle Softkey wich is assigned to multitasking view and the google search at once. Someone has posted a fix for that wich i cant find currently because it was posted in MIUI forums and the user was banned. You can always try to swap the Softkeys yourself with an xposed module or a root app.

Tried this one before, it was good enough, and I was able to swap the buttons using Gravitybox.. I just flashed latest epic ROM yesterday and so far so good.. But I'll surely change it again in a few days (I love re-flashing ROMs)
Thanks
