I pushed it to system/app. Overall is great but it's too small, I think that it is the one from the S2

You must have also placed the bootanimation file in data/local.
Check again, and see that you replaced the file properly.
This is not any coding error or something, it shouldn't occur, i think it's a mistake on your part. Check system/media again and replace with new bootanimation

As far as I know, the file should be placed only in one location. Delete the bootanimation from both the folders. Copy the bootanimation file to system/media , rename it to bootanimation.zip, set permissions to rw--r--r--
Reboot
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Yeah, what tj_droid said. The only folder where you can put a bootanimation is in system/media and name it EXACTLY like this: bootanimation.zip. all lowercase and just one word. I was switching mine up the other day and left it with a big B, got the android 1.5 bootscreen that simply says ANDROID.
Im on stock rom I cant see any bootanimation.zip on ether of the locations.
Any ideas ppl

This is very popular mod for all android devices. It was popular on the GingerBread version and I wanted to make it on the new JellyBean build. What basically does, it gives you the option to enter the original JellyBean Locksreen before entering the PIN for unlocking the device. It is made by editing the android.policy.jar file.
Download:
android.policy.jar
Instructions:
1. Download the file
3. Copy and paste to "system/framework" or use the adb command (recommended)
Code:
adb push android.policy.jar /system/framework/
adb reboot
4. Set permissions
5. Reboot
6. Enjoy.
Thanks to:
erorcun, taboo5200 for the mod and fixes and zenchikage for inspiring me to do this

what it basically does is just allow you to have a slide lockscreen before you input your PIN or Pattern or whachamacallit

It allows you to have a lockscreen before entering the PIN or pattern. So when you "slide down" the lockscreen you can enter the PIN. In my opinion it looks a lot better.

Interesting. But, can you please update the original posts with the pre-requirements for this Mod? Locked BL, root, etc.
Thanks.

Three more things,
1. Does this work for Xperia Go? I haven't read anyone from Xgo if this works.
2. Am I going to replace my original /system/framework/android.policy.jar ?
3. Where can i download the android.policy.jar, zippyshare is blocked in my network. Thanks
Please advise.
Thanks..
