Do you have the nandroid backup of your stock ROM. If yes, you can restore it via recovery. If no you'll have to wait for someone to upload their nandroid backup (India).

4 possibilities:
1- If you made a backup on stock rom restore and go on settings and check for udpates
2- If your cid is one of the ruu compatibility use Europe Ruu and update through it
3- If one user that have a bakup and have your cid restore it and update
4- Update manually hboot and rom with ShadowCodeGaming's guide

[NANDROID][STOCK] JELLYBEAN 4.1.1 SENSE 4+ for hTC_Asia_WWE_1.17.707.2

I am creating this thread because I find a lot of people looking for it in the forum
If you are looking for the stock Nandroid backup of the 4.1.1 with all the updates up to date you can get it from here
The CID's on which this backup will work are HTC__044, HTC__038
NOTE: This is NOT ROOTED
Keep in mind it's the TWRP backup (It's not compatible with CWM)
If you are to flash use TWRP recovery
To get the OTA updates (SENSE 5 UPDATE WORKS FLAWLESSLY)
1. Put the backup on TWRP backups folder (/TWRP/BACKUPS/XXXXXXX/the backup)
2. Restore the backup
3. Rename the boot.emmc.win inside the zip file to boot.img and flash it from fastboot
4. Flash the stock recovery from fastboot
5. Relock your bootloader and reboot
6. Check for updates u must be able to get it cheers...:good:

Although I am not needing this since I already updated and I am not an indian, First of all thanks a lot mate for providing those links and over all help. But I have a remark about your boot.img.
I am not sure if renaming it will make the boot.img work, It's best advised if you keep it with the exact name its in "boot.emmc.win" and flash it exactly as it is since it works perfectly fine.
Renaming won't mess up the kernel file .....that's all same
Just since people are familiar with the boot.img terminology I have put that....

Yes u can also use windroid toolkit.. No tutorial is required for it.. It is a one click root method. First unlock bootloader , flash recovery ,then root it by flashing supersu.

Please check my steps which i will follow....
1) i'll root and istall custom recovery by using windroid.
then i'll take backup of stock rom by follow this ...
"Reboot your phone to recovery
Backup -> Select all partitions -> Swipe to Backup"
2) now i'll install new rom through windroid or custom recovery.
is there any step which i forgot???
the backup which took by custom recovery is sufficient if phone become bricked??
Before DX i was using LGP500 and there was require to took a nandroid backup of it which include MAC Address, Blutooth Address, IMEI Number, and other importent information which in formed in NV File formation. That file was require to unbricked LGP500.
But here i didn't see any this type of backup method, Thats way i am asking to you.

All the steps u mentioned are fine.
For rooting the first step is to unlock bootloader from windroid , ( incase u forgot which I told in the previous post) And then flash recovery & then supersu (root access)
But ,U need to flash custom ROM from the recovery. And yes the backup made from recovery is sufficient.
Can u tell me your hboot by entering into bootloader ( power + vol down button).

Since u have jb hboot (1.25.0002) , u need to flash jb recovery from windroid.
First root your phone successfully, then think about choosing Roms.

Well , its fine unless u flashed the wrong twrp recovery. ( u are only required to flash the jelly bean one)
Nothing major if u flashed the right recovery.. Backup is completely fine.

Try installing the 1.5.0.0 TWRP for JB from Original Developement. Also, you don't need to backup the cache partition, data and system is enough.
