Hello xda,
my sister own's a samsung galaxy s2. She got the latest update (Jelly Bean) a couple weeks ago (Germany).
She encountered a problem today when plugging the mobile off the charger.
The mobile was off. She tried to turn it on but it did not start. It stucked at the white "Samsung Galaxy SII" logo.
She removed the battery and tried it again but it didn't work either.
When plugging the s2 on the charger it stucks at the battery logo.
volume down + home doesn't work, too...
Does anybody now what the problem is?
I hope, you understand everything, i had to translate her original message from german into english.
She posted her question in another board: Click
The S2 isn't rooted and she didn't change anything. Everything is official.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Did she do a factory reset.

Nope, she cannot get into recovery mode (i think it was vol up/down + home + power, was it?)
EDIT: She finally got into recovery mode but the factory reset stucked.
Vol+ home power = recovery
Vol- home power = download
Check if any of them work.

Help,
My phone just stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SII GT-19100G screen..
I can't enter CWM recovery mode or Download mode as well
When I press Volume Button UP + Home + Power, it will turn off the phone and never turn back on. When I release the Volume Button Up + Home, it turned back on and stuck at the screen again.
In fact I can't even power off my phone.. When I power off it, it will auto restart and stuck at the screen again..
Anybody.. please help
I'm only taking a wild stab in the dark here but my guess is you flashed firmware for the I9100 onto your I9100G device.
Best to download firmware for the "G" model and flash via download mode. If you have a jig it might come in handy.
Looks like you have some research to do. Good luck.

Yes, lucky I manage to flash it back to the original ROM.

For reference Vol Up + Home + Power is used to start the phone into Manual Mode, not turn it off. Vol Down + Home + Power is used to start the phone into Update Mode.

"pressing the power button for 8-10 seconds until it restarts" is not a hard reset. It just reboots the phone normally. Try booting into recovery (by holding all three buttons, vol- vol+ & pwr until you see the Samsung screen twice) and perform a wipe data/factory reset.

I've received a Logicom Tab750 4Go (M714), working but with an unkown lock patern.
I've tried to reset with Power + Vol+ and now it's stuck on "ANDROID" logo.
Any chance to recover it?

Simply hold the button combination: power + home + volUp and the phone will restart in Recovery mode. Release just the power button as soon as the galaxy s2 logo appears but keep pressing home + VolUp

Hi everyone,
I flashed the newest ROM from cyanogenMod to my old galaxy s3. I did this with the phone still on. After flashing, the phone is stuck in a boot loop. The problem is that I have removed the power button completely because it was faulty(even from the board). Has anyone had the same problem, or has any ideas what to do?
Thanks

I never had the same problem but you can try to hold vol + and home to go in recovery mode, or vol - and home for download mode
I don't have a power button. What you're saying can be done if you press those buttons along with the power one.

buy a USB JIG is a device that automatically enter download mode
Short the power button connections, if you can get at them.
