Problemi installing ROM - HTC One X+

Hello to all. I made unlocking the bootloader and installed ROOT permissions and flashed the kernel with the toolkit. Everything went correctly, when everything was ready to install the rom I did a cleaning device with the old OS and then later wanted to add the rom to install from the TWRP but now the pc will not let me enter the VIPER in SD and therefore not allow me to install any OS ... The pc I riconsce queindi the device and does not allow me to copy to sdcard the ROM!
How do I transfer the rom I have on my PC in my phone?
When I enter the TWRP. The computer tries to install the drivers but without success. Why is that?
I'm desperate ... Some help?

AW: Problemi installing ROM
Reinstall the drivers on your PC.
Then flash the stock recovery and relock the bootloader.
After that you use the RUU for your device to get totally back to stock.
Now you can start the process new....open your bootloader, flash custom recovery, get root and so on.....but don't clean your sd-card after you put the Rom on it

I am a beginner and I need help.

My HTC one m8 has root access. I was using twrp recovery and stock rom. I wanted to flash a custom rom (tried cyanogen and pan) but twrp never helped me in finding my zip file. Then I tried swapping my recovery from twrp to cwm but that never happened and it got stuck in bootloader mode and then I did factory reset :/. And now everytime I try going into recovery it takes me to the bootloader mode. now I am trying flashing a custom recovery but first turning s_off and I tried firewater but it doesn't work.
What should I do?
It still has root access but s_on and don't know about bootloader on/off and no recovery.

and does your device say unlocked at the top of your bootloader? if not follow this guild http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799796 , but use the twrp for you device carrier only
if you did it via recovery you should still be ok
go to your bootloader download this twrp img here http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m8/openrecovery-twrp-2.7.1.0-m8.img on your computer (for gsm) int. att (i'm guessing this is the device carrier you have)
ensure you have fastboot tools(adb tools installed)
put the .img in your folder that contains fastboot
open a cmd in that folder on your computer and make sure you put your phone in fastboot mode via your bootloader.
then type on your computer in cmd fastboot flash recovery (name of twrp you downloaded).img
then type fastboot erase cache
you now have twrp installed to get to it now select recovery from bootloader on your phone.
when installing custom roms in twrp you need to go to advanced wipe(select data, cache, delvik cache, and system then swipe the arrow bar beneath)
then press home and press install the go to the location on the sdcard where you put the rom.zip of the custom rom and select it. instalation will begin after completion reboot(done)
It says unlocked at the top but S On.
Shouldn't I turn s off before flashing recovery?

@Fahad khan lodhi
it won't matter either way.
but just so you know what s-off is
s-off turns security mode off so you can swap out boot splashes and such, if you s-off and super cid you can flash any carrier's firmware,
also allows you to flash a kernel in recovery on older devices(m8 doesn't need s-off to flash kernel)
Can't S-Off unless you can boot. Firewater only works if you can get into the OS and then only for some devices. You should reinstall TWRP and see if you can boot to it then put a rom on an external SD card or use adb to push a rom zip to the internal if you don't have an SD card. Make sure that you fastboot flash the boot.img of whatever rom you are trying due to being S-On. If all that fails, then you will need to find the same or newer RUU from HTC for your carrier to restore the phone to stock and start over.

Hey thank you very much.
It helped and i flashed latest twrp recovery and then flashed viper one m8 1.8.0 rom but the latest version is 2.4.0 and it says to have that your firmware should be 4.4.3 and i have 4.4.2.
Question is can i flash paranoid android coz that gives me 4.4.4 firmware and then flash latest viper one m8 version or i have to go to stock rom and update it and then flash latest version of viper?
Reply please.

It should still work with the firmware you have. It's recommended but not necessary. And flashing PA would certainly not update your firmware. Firmware in this instance is mostly focused on the radio/baseband version and the touch drivers. These are not included in any kind of custom rom for your phone (nor 99% of android custom roms for anything). Much more important if you were originally on 4.2.2 or 4.3 and trying to run the new Viper. The only way to update firmware while S-On is via RUU or OTA. If you were S-Off then you could flash just the firmware package that has the hboot and stock recovery files removed.

[OPX][OXYGEN OS] | Stuck into recovery mode after OTA update

Hi there !
Today, after downloading an OTA update, my phone told me "Installation Failed", and now, it is stuck in recovery mode after booting.
I've been rooted (using kingroot im a nub ikr) but unroot as soon as possible cause i only needed to change the MAC adress of my phone to be able to use it in a hotel. Then, as i said, unroot, change back to my original MAC adress, install OTA and boom, stuck into recovery mode without any possibility to boot, normal or fastboot. I tried to wipe data and cache but it doesn't work. I've been looking to this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/help/oneplus-x-stuck-recovery-failed-ota-t3262390 ) but, unfortunately, i don't have any SD card, so my questions are, will the thread method work if i buy a new SD card ?
And will i have to download and flash the full rom or only the OTA ?
PS: No custom ROM, no custom recovery. || Sorry for english, french student and not really pro.
Never OTA with root installed/adjustments made. You could manually download the OTA zip and flash it.
hi
1st are u on stock recovery or twrp
download the full rom place it on the root of ur sd or internal storage NOT in any folder
do a full wipe and flash the rom u should be ok good luck
I fixed my issue, i was on stock recovery wich means you can't access the storage, here is what i've done -->
Install ADB+Fastboot
Connect Phone to PC in fastboot mode
Flash twrp after unlocking bootloader
Now phone recognized, i've downloaded stock onyx ROM from one plus
Then i've flashed the ROM from twrp and my phone finally boot...
Full tutorial for those experiencing that issue

Phone not detecting in fastboot and not able to install rom through TWRP

I installed Resurrection remix through TWRP in redmi 2. After a while I decided to go back to MIUI through TWRP after advanced wipe when I tried to install the rom it went into blacksreen and back to TWRP. The problem is the phone is not getting detected through fastboot It is only charging. I have tried different systems just to make sure there was no driver issues. I am able to access TWRP through which I am able to go to SD card and storage, I tried installing ROM through it but no ROM is getting flashed. Need help to know if it can be flashed through TWRP and if I can transfer certain files to mobile through SD card to make it detectable in fastboot.

Please help me fix completely bricked Micromax Canvas A311

So, I kind of rooted my device using Kingo Root and it wasn't successful (I guess). So, in fastboot mode, I tried OEM unlock and it didn't work too; but anyway, I flashed TWRP recovery into my phone and through that I tried to install CM 13,14 custom ROMs which was completely unsuccessful. It doesn't allow me to install any ROM. And says that root privilege is lost. And now, all that I have access to is a phone stuck in bootloop and TWRP which doesn't allow me anything to do because apparently root access is lost. :crying:
I tried every method of flashing via YGDP tool and it is stuck at 'entering download mode'. I have installed different drivers over and again to fix as suggested by different threads but still, it's the same. [Windows 8.1] . And is there any other tool to flash this same stock ROM or better, can I get root access again in a bricked device and install a custom ROM any way?:fingers-crossed:
I also have access to ADB sideload via TWRP, so can I get stock ROM in .zip format. So far, I can only find it in .CPB format; maybe I can use .zip stock ROM via ADB sideload to flash it. Please help if any of this is possible.
*Apology for such a long question but I think you guys must know everything in order to provide me with a fix*
It's fixed.

Thanks anyways!
