The Dx forums seem pretty active right now, so here's my issue- when trying to call through the number dialler or the contact app it doesn't do anything (it sorta freezes but can go back to Homescreen and use everything else as usual)
I then find out later (quite a lot later) that my phones left a voicemail on the other persons phone, just wandering if anyone else has experienced this issue or has a fix for it (without doing a full wipe)
I'm using stock ICS
It happens to me also some times, more often in gsm only network mode, when data is streaming.
Btw On which network mode you are?

Gsm automatic, I'm gonna try a few different Apps for contacts and diallers etc. To see if any better if not then I'll do a wipe, this is pretty noobish but changing to a different network mode isn't gonna mess phone up ?

On gsm/wcdma auto mode it is less often than gsm only mode, don't know why but it Happens, may be it is related to free ram.

Ok, so is anyone else having any of these problems:
- When using camera, screen turns off and on when it tries to focus.
- Receiving SMS issues until reboot.
- Issues going from 4G to 3G, or 3G to or from WiFi, or 4G to WiFi.
- Screen responsiveness issues.
- Random rebooting.
- GPS issues.
Most problems are resolved after a reboot but then come back progressively as I use the phone. I'm rebooting 3-4 times per day. I thought this was Android, not BlackBerry...
I'm not rooted and have already factory reset like 2 or 3 times. My Dinc didn't even have this many problems. :/

Also, when listening to music for a certain amount of time, it just stops and then phone becomes unresponsive till reboot. Not sure if that is a PowerAMP issue or not.

Try flashing an update.zip rom of your device using recovery mode. Might need root. Depends on devices though. Mg N1 works without rooting.

Where would I be able to get that? And how do I boot into recovery? My Incredible was rooted and before the last update, it was power and volume down. Then after the update, it changed to power and volume up.
Also, I did reboot my phone and my camera still doesn't work. I'm going to try to clear the data from the application manager
UPDATE: Clearing data from camera didn't have an effect

I guess you should Google for the steps to go into recovery for Incredible... not familiar with it.
For the rom go search your build number on XDA. You can use custom ones too I guess.
But sometimes it goes 'signature verification failed. Action aborted'. Ask senior members for that. I cannot solve it.

What kind of screen responsiveness issues are you having? Mine seems to "slow" down a lot after a day and a half of uptime, a reboot fixes it but it's annoying to have to reboot that often just because the touch input slows down so much I can't use the phone.
Hey, as the name says, I'm running Cyanogen 7 on a HTC Desire (Bravo)
when I boot up the device I have signal and a 3G connection, however after a couple of minutes this disappears.
So far I've tried:
- Turning off and on - just disappears after a few minutes
- Plane mode on and off - doesn't do anything
- Flashing the Radio to latest version - no noticeable difference
I go into Settings>Wireless&Networks>Mobile Networks> Network operators and from there is auto searches and doesn't stop auto searching (obviously not finding anything)
I've searched for people with service provider issues but I've found non like mine, hope someone can help! thanks
u might have to reflash rom again..

I've tried that and unfortunately nothings changed.
If this helps: I just tried ringing someone and the signal would go, drop the line after a few seconds and reappear just as quickly. I heard the other person's voice once or twice(I tried phoning a few times) and they claimed to be unable to hear me (as in, no noise at all from my end),
Discovered my problem on the cyanogen forums (can't post link apparently)
Turns out that the 'stable' 7.2 is unstable so backing up to 7.1
Good morning all.
I am having a problem with my mobile network settings. I am running Liquid Smooth 3.2 on a Thunderbolt. I tried to switch from 4G to 3G and now I can't send text messages. But I can receive them. I cannot make or send calls either.
I have done a factory restore. That did not resolve. I reloaded the ROM complete with Dalvik, Cache and factory restore wipes. Still no dice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just need to know what I should be using in the mobile network settings. I have tried them all and nothing. Maybe I am missing a setting somewhere? Also, what is the correct way to switch from 4G to 3G?
I would try a completly different sense rom and see if it works. Killasense or gingrbread rock, see what happens. Im not an aosp guy, but have tried them all, just always end back on gbrock or zeus

Don't use the 3g 4G toggle power widget, it seems to be the cause if issues for me on any adopt ROM. If I don't use it its fine

My phone currently has a lot of data issues ( non-wifi based) where data will frequently cut out and will require a restart to get it working again ( switching to airplane mode sometimes fixes it). Does anyone know if this problem is most likely a Sim-card issue or a phone issue? Or is this a common problem/ any way to fix it? Thanks!
--Also on a side note, are others seeing their stock messaging app constantly crashing?

I experience the messaging crash at random when I hit the back button in the messaging app. As for data, my phone will randomly lose its signal and would also say I'm missing my sim card. I called AT&T and they gave me a new card, but I still experience random signal disconnections.

First of all, I am using the normal software on the phone, it is not rooted or anything.
I am having a lot of issues using the Messages App on my 4G LTE. Often times when I click on a conversation it will often display the number for the contact I am trying to text and display the loading icon and spinny wheel in the text box. Sometimes after a minute or so the conversation will appear and I can message that person, other times it will not.
The same thing happens when I sometimes click on the People App. It simply will not load for a minute or two.
The dialer has similar problems. I will use a speed dial or pull up a contact to call, and when I speed-dial or press to call that contact, the dialer will reset and act as if I had just opened it. Sometimes it will connect the call one or two minutes after this occurs.
I have tried GO SMS Pro but that had problems of its own.
Any help would be appreciated.
I had the exact same problem. I tried deleting apps, battery pulls, factory resets, cache clearing, etc. Nothing worked. So I rooted and it's fine now. I hope you find a solution. I never could.

I'm rooted also but I have the problem too. I'm running ViperLTE. I thought it might be my OOM managing app killing them. I've use a different dialer and now recently a new text app. Its a sense thing I think. People complain about it on HTC evo lte forums.

What method did you use to root it?
