It looks like a great app. the developer only tested it on his DroidX, and heres what happened when i tested it on my Vibrant (a Nexus user reported the same problem):

he gave me permission to post this here to see if anyone would be able to figure it out, he thinks this might have something to do with the issue:

Sure. As long as you site the source and keep me updated on any findings so I can update my app accordingly.
To be more specific, I think the problem is how button events/intents are handled vs. default intent of the notification content view. I'll try to post some code when I get home.

There's an app that works for Vibrant, dg Quickcut.
This is one more reason why Vibrant users NEED an AOSP system like CyanogenMod 6.1 instead of the Samsung crap that we've dealt with since the beginning. When will TheDudesAndroid finish with CyanogenMod Vibrant? He hasn't posted any progress on his twitter in a long time.

No the app I posted here is different...it creates a condensed button layout as opposed to cluttering your notification menu with several ongoing items

Still seeing if anyone would be able to help out with this?
I've read the info at SamMobile (related to SamFirmware).
Anyone tried the ROM? From the comments, there are still plenty of bugs...
Edit: Whoever rated this thread 1star is a true moron and a real idiot.
This is a developer site where people do use beta versions.

There are several threads around here already concerning people using this ROM, so yes, people have used it. General consensus is that it's too unstable for daily use.
I'd be tempted to 1-star this thread as well due to lack of searching on your part.

Well I'll be nice and respond to you.
I've played around with the XXKP1 ROM and for the most part, it was surprisingly stable.
The default launcher IS quite temperamental, so I installed the Trebuchet launcher and 90% of the FC's disappeared. This launcher is a MUST on these leaked ROMs for the time being.
In order to get the best possible experience with these leaked ROMs you need to:
* Install the Bezke XXKP1/2 ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1393569) - Flashable through CWM and is pre-rooted and also has the RIL fixes for 3G data
* Change the default keyboard to the standard Android one as soon as you can one to stop the keyboard FC's.
* Install the Trebuchet launcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=821149&d=1324230099) - and place it in /system/app folder. It should open when you press the home button. Set it as the default launcher.
* Stop the media scanner from running - it's a BIG battery drainer - go to Settings/Applications/Running and stop it there, and also stop the cached process
* Turn off key press sounds and lock screen sounds - having these on causes a continuous partial partial wave lock called 'AudioOut_1' - battery drainer
* Install these Calendar apks (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19448865&postcount=2) in /system/app to get the calendar working. Once in /system/app, click on them both to install them. The Calendar will now work
* If you want to use the Contacts.apk and Phone.apk from the 'vanilla' ICS ROM (instead of the installed TW ones) download those APK's (http://www.multiupload.com/6T0019180O) and put them in /system/app. Don't install the MMS.apk though it will break things!
* Turn off the red border from appearing on some screens by going to the Dev Tools App > Development settings > strictmode visual indicator > put it in OFF MODE - then reboot for this to take effect
Battery life then falls to normal levels. Be aware though that when you connect your phone to your computer to transfer files etc, that a media scan will be run again when you disconnect. You'll have to force stop the media scan again otherwise it will keep running.
What rom? That's been kept quiet hasn't it? Certainly no info or discussions anywhere on these forums about it
Everyone will 1-star this because you didn't bother to search before starting a new thread on the same topic!

Are you for real? I've been a forum member on many sites (not to mention developing vBulletin forum software) since forever, I know how to search. Not to mention that the SamMobile post was made today...
Edit: My bad, I apologize. Just found the thread now... it was not on the first page of results when I initially searched and I never look further than a page (like anyone else I guess). Still, rating a thread 1star is really a baby game. Why not just post the link instead? This is a discussion forum where people communicate, not a Nazi camp where the Moron Patrol votes 1's on everything they think is stupid.
Searching, always searching...
The search here can be finicky, but a google search on site:forums.xda-developers.com is generally good, and fairly up date as well.
Hey guys, did a quick Google search on this and didnt see any answers to this bizarre quirk.
I am on non-rooted ICS (stock) - no comments from the peanut gallery about this. Once CM is stable enough that I feel I can use it, Ill switch.
Now, on to the problem.
I installed Chrome and set it to the default browser (but Ill probably change it considering what Im about to post) and set the home page to google.
I begin typing a search query, for example, 'Samsung AT&T No' and Google presents some suggestions of what it thinks Im going to actually search for. Tapping ANY of these suggestions hides the suggestion list and does NOT fill in my query with the suggestion I tapped. In addition, the keyboard is also hidden until I tap in the query edit field again.
In addition, Id like to just state for the record, xda is TERRIBLE on mobile (the website). I dont know what this new 'theme' is but it is barely functional on mobile, on the desktop, the website is completely broken in Firefox (14.0.1 w/ No Script and Tree Style Tabs plugins installed - and yes, I am enabling scripting for XDA).
So, I have reverted to the old xda theme until this is fixed.
BUT, does anyone know what is wrong with Chrome?
Is Chrome out of beta?
if you click the arrow next to the auto complete search query it will fill it in for you.

Well, that time has come. I feel like our ROM is stable enough that I can finally proide support for it without you guys (unintentionally) clogging up the dev thread.
If you have a question, POST IT HERE. If you want to ask about install issues, how to get into devving, or rabid toasters, POST IT HERE. I am closing off the dev thread now that this is created. If you post there without a constructive helpful comment (I will put up criteria there), you will get yelled at, beaten, and sent to slink back to your hole from whence you came.
Okay, now that that's over, I will be providing support in this thread. I am not mean, scary, nasty, or like to drown puppies for fun, despite what the impression the above may give you. I am actually a very helpful person (as most pre-existing members here will agree), and will try to help you, even if you think it's a stupid question.
One rule here: Search first!
I cannot emphasize how important this is. As I said, I am more than happy to answer questions, but for the love of god please don't post something like "wherez the ICS guyzz, I don;t see it in this thrad, this forum sukks". Please use search first before posting. Thank you, and have a nice day.
Well, have fun, and I will answer any questions you have (even if they don't directly relate to ICS).

Special thanks to daniel644 for the video and his high praises of me .
Guides (thanks to goldflame for these):
Drm manager
YOU MUST HAVE ROOT IN ORDER TO DO THIS!!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31201787
Run this in terminal with su permissions
Open terminal Type su Accept the superuser request Follow the code from the post One condition if you reboot you have to repeat the third line of code.
This will fix the market
Here is rooting:
Download tsparky root on your computer from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31067529
Extract the zip plug in your Samsung, turn on USB debugging which can be found in settings-devoloper-usb debugging and run the bat file.
For those of you like me that when you open super user it fcs, here is a guide on how to fix that:
I have rooted, super user won't open now
OK follow theses steps
1) download and install Android commander (Google it)
1a) plug in your device and make sure USB debugging is on
2) open android commander
3) on the right panel go to /system/app and delete super user.apk
4) then go to /system/xbin and delete busybox and su
5) reboot and root again
Worked for me and two other people so it should work for you.
This is a good idea ... hopefully we will see more people pop in here than the dev thread, like to see you guys progress whenever possible and not so much "I need help installing this". I read a few posts of one of your guys requesting people to PM for help but maybe this thread will alleviate that "burden"...

Well, answering questions is not a "burden" more than it is something not 100% relevent to our dev thread, which (unfortunately) sometimes gets us off on a tangent. This way, I can help you guys, and we can still be productive in the original thread. Even if your question isn't relevant, pop me a PM, and I will be happy to help you, as long as you have researched first (meaning not stuff like "where's the stock rom"?).

Between devs yes, we use Gtalk on a daily basis, and has been invaluable in getting work done quickly. It would be interesting to use skype and/or Gtalk for support, although we would need a dedicated account for that (and we are currently locked out of our Nova Gmail account, because we forgot the password ).
Not trolling here, but just wondering. Since when did discussion become development? Shouldn't this be in general?
In our one s forums all discussion threads are in the general section.

This is a subsection of our development thread, and while it may be better placed in general, it is best here, as we remove the chance of people who create accounts just to complain, and we obtain easier access for users. Plus, I believe I may have an idea to put the community to work, I just need to polish it a bit more.

I would hold off, but only for a little while longer, there are a few details (market download fix and proper sdcard support) that need to be added into the next ROM build so you don't have to ADB push things or use terminal to enter code after every boot, once those issues are fixed then it should be a good daily. But, if your comfortable and know how to ADB push files and stuff like that then go for it, just remember you WILL be charging it EVERY night due to the deep sleep bug inherited from the CM7 kernel that was used as the base for our CM9 kernel.

Is it possible to fix that deep sleep bug?
My milestones that need to be crossed for daily usage would be:
H/W Acceleration
SD Card fixed (internal and external)
Deep Sleep
Everything else either has already been added/fixed (Voodoo!!! Beats removed and optional ) or I could wait for (bluetooth, camera, gps).
You guys are doing a great job though, can't wait for the next build to see how you guys are doing.

if/when Oisis gets a 3.0.x kernel up and going (after he gets his player) hopefully the deep sleep bug will be no more, since its a carry over from the CM7 base kernel and if we have a new kernel that should solve that issue, and should get us to where bluetooth, camera and H/W acceleration could all be possible aswell.
Han, while we wait for Oisis to get his player and do his magic can we get one more build that has the fixed vold.fstab to have both internal and external memory working normally without having to ADB push files to the player and the market fix (if there's an easy way to do it)?

A build with a fixed vold.fstab is possible but for the market fix, this is something related to the initrd that actually needs one more line of code for it to be activated lool.

Hold up a sec, I'm unsure of the situation a bit here... does oisis HAVE a Samsung Galaxy 4.0?
If not, I'm willing to toss a couple Tens his way (won't mention how much here) with a stipulation. I'm talking about Amazon Credit (which I have alot of) here... An Amazon gift card (via email) would have to be used as Amazon being the purchase website. PM me if there is an interest oisis if this is the case of you not having an actual SGP 4.0 ...
Edit: Ok, I just read that oisis actually did order one from China (?) but if it takes too long I'm still willing to help money wise if needed for any of these great 4.0 devs here developing the ICS rom

A file explorer? I think I will just fix the kernel so that the drmserver can work on boot. As for the vold.fstab, I cleaned all my repo so it will take a long time before I can get one, I will get it more presumably on the weekend.

Yeah a file explorer (file browser) so I can access the LEGALLY obtained .apk's I've collected from the developers websites, to install them. for whatever reason there is NO file browser app in this CM9.

I get "problem parsing package" when installing.
Would be awesome if you could keep compatibility with latest versions, this app is awesome thanks!
Is there something I need to do after installing it to activate the unlimited swipe? I've downgraded to 4.0.5 and activated the module as well.
Also, definitely would love support for 4.2.3!

I had this same issue. For me it was b/c my ROM was old. I am still using JB 4.2.2 When I upgraded to 5.1.1. it worked.
To OP-
Are you sure that the swipes is not limited to the server ? If you hit the paywall, then adjust the time on your phone (trick it to think the time as passed by), you can keep swiping. The thing is, when I did that it "appeared" that even though I was swiping, there was no registering. Just my .2cc
Looks like when someone has mutual friends it doesn't allow me to see them. Not a big deal but is that by design or something?

I got jelly bean too, is there a way to recompile it? I have all eclipse & android sdk set up already
Im not sure how to compile im pretty noon tbh.
Works good for me and I used an auto script to swipe after installing. It swiped probably 1000 times and no matches.
Typically I get 1 match out of 30 swipes. The pay wall I believe is 100.
I've used the app for a long time and that really has not changed. It could be I got no matches after 1000 swipes but I suspect even though the app is clearing the server is locked.
