Screen leaping

Do you know that if you swype your finger on the screen from the bottom up it gives you a preview of all screens like a leap effect not just hitting home twice

A screenshot would go a long way to show what you mean.

Any way to fix the yellowish whites?

Sorry...double posted by mistake

The colours in S3 are warm, compared to the cold whites in an LCD screen, which appear bluish. Hence, the whites appear yellowish. Don't think there is anything we can do about it.
If there is, I would like to know too!
Edit: How did I miss this??

3 finger touch?

So I'm wondering how the 3 finger gesture works when multi touch tester app only 2 touches?

Maybe ROM is playing a part, sense vs aosp or something?
Tapatalked from my HTC DNA - Carbon
Mine only shows 2 as well but it is false no doubt. I've used more than two finger gestures.

I just thought of something.
Those of you on sense. If you have 3 finger gestures enabled then whenever you put 3 fingers on the screen sense takes over, iirc the phone vibrates quickly when that happens. At this point the app no longer is detecting the screen, sense itself is.
So no, your phone isn't broken and 3 finger gestures work as they should, and it's because of the 3 finger gestures that the testing app only detects 2 touches.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
basically when 3 finger gestures are on apps can only see two touches and when its off it sees from my tests 15(three hands on screen) lol.
Yup turn it off and it gets 10 touches

Next phone?

Galaxy Note II is the obivous answer or should I wait for the III? I also have been looking at the LG and Motorola and Sony and HTC (ALL HAVE TO BE 5" OR ABOVE ) .
The Note has proven to me that the 5 inch screen is a big plus and anything below 5 wouldnt quite do it for me , just not so sure about anything else , the s pen doesnt mean squat to me though , a faster processor , bigger battery (longer life), more ram , bigger hard drive , man sounds like the old pc days !
Wait for the note III man. Its coming in September. Well announced maybe released in October or November. But yeah wait for the note III

Although I don't want to encourage you leaving the Galaxy Note behind , I've read the LG Optimus G Pro E980 is pretty good. It sports a 1080P 5.5" screen.
I'm waiting for the 3!
Was waiting for the Note III now waiting for the Nexus 5 unless Google royally screws it up. Both out in October.
I haven't heard like any rum ours or anything about the nexus 5 0_0

Isn't there a thread pretty much similar to this..about how long you gonna keep your note.... Sorry but I can't stand similar threads... They should be combined

Combine away , I don't usually read anything but the dev section so I'm guilty of not looking to see if there were similiar tgreads

The Intl ones have root but nothing for ATT yet. Stock is sort of interesting right now and learning about the multi screen. I think this is the first I've been stock for more than two days.
I would like to have root to get rid of all the ATT bloat. I will say this phone allows me to turn off most of the apps so they don't show in the app drawer.

After a little research, it seems ATT started locking their bootloaders beginning with the Galaxy S IV...of course the S IV has plenty of dev support.
Until some great dev helps me out.....I'm just going to enjoy my big ole phone
