Does anyone knows which firmware version in Navifirm Plus will get me a language pack with Hebrew inside? (for the UI, Keyboard is downloadable at any)
Because I cannot find any Israel firmware there... but I thought maybe a global one will do. Thanks ahead for any kind of help!! :good:

Never mind... Tried on my own risk and it WORKED.. I took the Global firmware and flashed it using thetutorial posted in this thread:

and now I have a Nokia Lumia 920 rm-821 in FULL HEBREW UI!
so any of you Israelis out there who need Hebrew to their Lumia's and don't know what to do...
Just follow the guide and use the code: 059Q5C9: RM-821 GLOBAL RED SWAP (or what ever color you need..)
But notice that I've bought my phone in europe and thats why I have an rm-821 version... I dunno if it will work on a rm-820 version so do it at your own risk and update here for everyone who needs help making their phone "Kosher" lol... unfortunately here in Israel all the private phone stores says it takes a lot of time and that's why we need to pay them 300 ILS which is allmost 100$ FOR WHAT?! it took me allmost 15 mins to complete it all and the 10 mins from this only gone for downloading the firmware so guys! don't be stupid and try it on your own!
Tried to get answers here - got none - so did on my own risk and logic.... and life is great now! any ways thanks for the guides and for this forum!

Hello from Spain, most probably there is explained but I can't find exactly what I'm looking (so if you you post a link I won't be mad )
Because I couldn't get the Nokia 800 with my operator and because I couldn't get it without changing company I got a Nokia 800 from a well-known auctions website.
The phone works fine and I thing it's unlocked because it works with my local carrier. But It says that is in 7.10.8107.79 and that the carrier company is Proximus. That's not the last firmware and it also isn't my carrier. Is there any way to free the device os any carrier or to force the update?
As I could see with some googling is that I need to download the firmware with NaviFrim Plus the thing now is that I don't know exactly what model I have, I think that mine is RM-819 (I have 1600.2487.8107.12070 for sure) but now the are tons of Variants, and i don't know which is good.
Dear Kapisketo, u can discover which RM is yours just pulling out the SIM card tray and looking behind it on the sticker.

About finding de RM,,, si easy and I was trying tons of thing to found it.

PAC Code for my Lumia 800
Hello guys,
Just bought a Lumia 800 from E-Bay, in its original box, for a good price. When I started it, the first picture on the screen was a logo from Bouygues Telecom - France. After I have inserted my SIM into it, it says "Please insert the PAC code. 9 attempts remaining."
I have three questions:
1.What is the PAC code? Is the phone locked on a specific network?(found some explanations on the forums, but I`m still confused)
2. Why do I need to insert the PAC code in order to use this phone?
3. What do I have to do in order to use my phone strictly AS A PHONE?

I think dev's must release a cab update with their cfw so that users who don't want to lose their data can use the cab to prevent data lose.I am eager to install rataplan 2.1 on ma lumia 710 , but I don't want to lose my games and apps...dev's do sone thing plz...
Do you have guys Bluetooth File Share? I can't find the way to do that.

I took the euro1 EE and I don't find it. How do you do it? Is there a special application for that?

What variant of the FW should I download if I have a carrier unlocked phone in Europe, Romania? Lumia 800 of course.
So, I tried updating to this FW, the thing is, on navifrim, when i look for my lumia 800's product code (RM-801 059J3G0), its not there... whereas if i look for it in the nokia care suite it is. I'm not sure which to download. On nokia care suite i get my cell phone is NDT EURO 1 BLACK MATT, but i've yet to find that same thing on navifirm... Should i just download one that looks alike? or what am i supposed to do?
Sorry if its a stupid question, but i dont want to brick my phone

Does it matter which color to use? I have lumia 800 cyan and want to use German firmware, but there is a firmware for any but cyan( Can I use a firmware for a black phone?
Hm, I was able to download the firmware via the NCS, but my phone (which was automatically detected as RM-801) does not want to "switch mode".
Any ideas?
It seems that the phone is not recognised when it restarts as the Qualcomm CDMA driver has a warning message next to it that there are no drivers available...
Just installed the new firmware (used the "RM-801_CV_Netherlands_VAR252549_Black_12460_001_v6 (059L9Q7)" ROM).
Nice to be able to shrink and expand the tiles to my liking... and the Bing wallpaper of course.
Oh boy, I just can't wait to get a Rainbown Rom mode ROM with the new things like Bluetooth, working with the cool stuffs like root acess, clock hub and others... It will be awesome!!!
Looks like WhatsApp is not working properly on 7.8: No SMS code is transmitted. Anyone else tried it?
EDIT: There was an update for WhatsApp this morning and now it works fine.

I've got a Lumia 920 and I'm pretty new to all this flashing thing and I was wondering: How do I know what ROM to flash on my phone? Maybe the question sounds too general, but I will get into details in a moment.
I bought my phone from Romania ( the country I live in ), but the phone came with a Poland ROM. I also want to update to the latest firmware which has the camera fixes and battery improvements, but I don't know what ROM to choose.
I have an unbranded phone ( not locked on any carrier ) and I want it to stay that way. Would any of you be so kind to look on Navifirm at the 1232.5951.1249.xxxx ROMS for the RM-821 Lumia 920 and tell me what ROM to flash to stay unlocked and have access to all Nokia apps from the marketplace? I say this because I had issues on my old Lumia 800 with dissapearing xbox live and not having all nokia apps.

EDIT: I found this ROM: 059R747: RM-821_920_VAR259096_CEE_CV_12491_Black which seems to be the right one for me. Romania is in Central Europe ( provided CEE means Central & Eastern Europe ) so I guess it's ok to flash this on my devide. Wish me luck
Hello guys, I've got Nokia Lumia 920 from China with my friend's help. I was unable to install facebook, youtube & most of the apps, it just keeps on saying that this app is not available in your region though all those apps works in my friend's Lumia 800...
later i came to know that my phone is RM-822...
so can i do anything for this, to make it normal as other phones which r compatible to all apps...
may be debranding or changing RM numbers or product code stuff ?..
Have you tried changing the country/region setting to US?
What country is the Microsoft account you're using with the phone from?

It's probably because facebook and youtube are banned in China. So phones targeted for the Chinese market can't have those apps. maybe you can try to flash your phone with a RM821 firmware and maybe that will solve the problem..

The Lumia 920T from China uses a different SoC with a different GPU than the US/EU-Versions (RM-820, RM-821) because it was the only Qualcomm Chip available that supports the Chinese 3G variant. Based on that I'm pretty sure that international ROMs will not work.

This might get it done but I'm not sure if rm-822 will support rm-821 firmware. Flash at your own risk. Seems like with this method you could always re-flash to rm-822 if it didn't work though. Good luck!

I don't have a PC...
I have tried a few ROMS. None of them work.
I also have a china mobile Lumia 920, if I could at least change the market to us or any other country it would be great....

I have downloaded the Vietnam firmware onto my RM-822 product code: 059T066, had to do the hold down power and volume down buttons to get Nokia Care to flash but it has worked and now can access the UK store and Skype, Facebook etc. :laugh:

Does anyone know how to modify the rom to allow a marketplace other than China? I have not been able to flash any European or US rom because it seems there are some hardware differences, thus is there any way to alter the firmware?

I am purely guessing it is a Branded Everything Everywhere ROM, CV is carrier vendor, RM821 is the device code for EU models?
Lumia 920 has four device codes, RM820, 821, 822, 867 the latter being the chinese 920T,
EE_CV is for Everything Everywhere branded rom.
If you are looking for UK then it will be GB_CV
